I have posted previously that I do not believe Samsung can prevail in its claim for extended IPR coverage under its 2g license via its MFL clause. Samsung never raised the issue in its first arbitration with IDCC and it will not float on its own merit or as an after thought 4 years down the road. They are stuck with the capitulation by Nok which makes the Nok arbitration award final and confirmed.
