lol, an Athlon64 would seriously kick its butt. Even at same clock speed, the Athlon64's much more aggressively "tuned" memory controller, along with the ability to use non-registered, non-ECC DIMMs, is a sure winner in games.
(We'll see how it handles Prescott, but Opeteron is not geared for that type of application - and is actually likely to be slower in just about any single processor application).
