I will take success of the IND hands down. Success there would lead to increased pressure for insurance reimbursement and grant studies etc. If Medicare added stems to their reimbursement schedule for osteo, regardless of fee for service rate, Then the bloated hospital/surgery center fee structures can be met. The only hospital self pay success I know of is plastic surgery and some small stuff. There are a few other challenges. I would carve out research portion, fund it separately, hire the big guns to drive agenda through Washington. Would love the opportunity to spearhead that.
