Personally, I think it is sad if you really believe what you wrote.

Was there a plan to take on Saddam that existed before 09/11?? Probably - a contingency plan that was on a back burner should something ever come up and for good reasons. Did they turn to a "CIA plan to invade Afghanistan left over from the clinton administration" after 09/11?? Guess what - the CIA does not draw up plans to invade anybody - that is done by the folks that will do the actual job - the Pentagon. If you had access, you would find that the Pentagon has contingency plans to make war on just about everybody that conceivably could cause us a problem - THAT IS THEIR JOB, and it should not be any other way.

And "failed to heed the warnings of the previous administration" -- what a joke. The previous administration most certainly ignored any such warnings themselves and has more than their share of blame.

So, you believe saddam and azziz are truthtellers and Bush and his administration are liars. Saddam and azziz are to be believed over Bush and our government. That is so utterly bizarre that I have no answer for it - if you believe that, there is no hope to convince you of anything rational.
