That is a question for a physician.

However, the 2 degree increase in temperature is measured in Celsius. The difference in Fahrenheit is 3.6 degrees. You probably already know this.


1. 98.6F (37C) = Normal body Temperature.

2. 102.2F (39C) = Maximum temperature reached with DCVax treatment.

Also, cancer patients often have chronically low temperatures and their their immune systems are damaged for various reasons. A fever immediately associated with the DCVax injection that lasts for 2 days may be a very good sign (immune system activated) -- however, again, a physician must distinguish these matters. (In a manner of speaking, the injection with DCVax fortuitously/intentionally triggers a hyperthermia response. Hyperthermia is sometime used as a catalyst to help various cancer therapies.)
