Thompson, who was released on $1 million bond, settled related charges stemming from a Securities Exchange Commission case in Florida in 2012.

One his co-defendants in that case, described by Fritz as the ringleader of the operation, is now working with New York prosecutors.

Kevin Sepe? Ronnie Halperin? Or the guy who served as a front man CEO? Sepe knew everything they were up to. If he's the one squealing, they have serious problems.

Ahhh, I see it IS Sepe:

Fritz said the charges against the eight people whose indictments were announced today stem from a Florida man, Kevin Sepe, who is cooperating with prosecutors. Emily Tuttle, a spokeswoman for Vance’s office, declined to comment on Fritz’s comments about Sepe and his involvement in the case.

I wonder if CNBC will report on it tomorrow and get everything wrong, the way they did with CYNK.
