The only USB plugin I always have is a Canon printer and a wireless mouse, and they've been there for ages. Yes driver problems are often the cause of a BSOD, or RAM, or trojans, or a hundred other things. I hunted all around my computer and made some changes, sorted through the services and what is necessary to run and what not, deleted every single Samsung file I could find, and haven't had a BSOD since (fingers crossed). Yes, checked Device Manager first thing. Appears that partially loaded driver might have been the problem. Hope that was it. Have run several Registry checkers, and no red flags there. Still have to run scans in safe mode, could be a worm or Trojan. May have to wait until this weekend. BTW, this isn't happening only when I boot up (in fact, it hasn't happened on boot at all recently), just occurs randomly when I'm on the computer and I've researched all the error numbers indicated and tried some suggestions. We'll see if it continues to happen. . .
