With my extremely dirty math I think we are getting very close to the interim look.


Assume 5% event per year
2012 1000 full year enrollment 5% 50
2013 2000 full year enrollment 3000 (5%) 150 events, running total 200 events
2014 3000 full year enrollment 6000 (5%) 300 events, running total 500 events

However, assuming event rate of 6%

2012 1000 (6%) 60 events
2013 2000 (6%) 3000 , 180 events for 2013 and running total of 240
2014 3000 (6%) 6000, 360 events and running total of 600

Assuming a more aggressive enrollment timeframe and a higher event rate we could be statistically there at a 60% interim look.?
