Fordiamonds:I've Never Insisted on Names
Nor have I speculated as to who it is.
I have simply noted that by proceeding anonymously, the people behind the PR are the ones who cast suspicion on themselves.
If they don't want to stand up, that's their choice. And IMHO it means that they have little or no credibility and that their motives are fairly under suspicion.
As to continued posts on prop 2: I don't recall starting any recently. But that doesn't mean I agree not to respond to posts by others, particularly ones which seek a response from me.
As to OSF posts: I made a mistake and I apologize. I didn't at first realize that this was a troll rather than a sincere(ly misguided) and legitimate poster.
As soon as I realized I responded no more and simply TOSed him, and Joensey and EconELi and never responded to the latter two--who are most likely the same person or persons.
I've never attacked marchma. He and I had an exchange of views on prop 2, he stated his position, I responded that I disagreed but respected his view as he articulated it.
I'm not trying to play columbo or inspector cluseau as to which poster or posters were behind the PR--if it was even a regular participant here. I haven't demanded their names. I've only commented that by proceeding anonymously, and in the manner that they have, they cast doubt on their motives and IMHO are either shorts OR are self defeating in their attempts to convince people that they are longs with the best interests of the company and shareholders at heart.
Why not ask corpbuyer to move on? Have you done that? Did you see where I begged him and others to do so or to continue the discussion privately which only led to them saying I was trying to evade the issue rather than discuss it which now you say I am discussing it too much.
I can't win either way. Nor am I really trying to win. So I'm not starting new posts on prop 2 but reserve the right to continue to respond if I choose to do so. Of course, no one is forcing you or anyone else to read those responses.
PS: I hope that you don't endorse the defamatory content of OSF's confrontational and nasty posts? In fact, it might be better to find anyone else to agree with rather than an obvious troll who picked fights w me and everyone else he engaged w in the two days since he she or it registered.
respectfully,
joel
