A fair number of people tend to 'engage' in discussion with me. And I usually try to respond.

I'm not trying to persuade anyone. I do see people trying to persuade me.

But show me where I ever tried to persuade anyone how to vote or said how I think anyone should vote but me?

I can show you where I said just the opposite, many times. Vote YOUR conscience, Vote YOUR own mind, Vote YOUR self interest as YOU perceive it.

I've also said that I don't care which the way the vote comes out and that I don't think it matters a whole lot, that neither vote will be a tragedy.

So believe it or not, that's all there is to it.
