My understanding from reading the filing was the distribution income was related to addition of CAV and the distribution into Walmart, Target and Best buy. At least that is what it sounded like to me. I assumed this combined with the ramping up of the number of releases they are doing 3 last q was the reason for increased income. I thought it was not only repeatable but would grow as they expand their catalog and have 3 more releases in the 1st q.
The company has had a lucrative 4th fiscal quarter. The sales and distribution division has two films in various stages of distribution, Crimson Winter and Singularity Principle and acquired a third, You Can’t Kill Stephen King for domestic distribution. The company anticipates a release slate of three films in the first fiscal quarter of 2014.
Meanwhile domestic sales are accomplished through our distribution relationship with CAV releasing domestically. Our business relationship with CAV allows us to now have our own branded “Big Screen Entertainment Group” label, and as many different labels both in film and
music as may be necessary for each film or music project that we distribute.
I also thought the mention of them creating a subsidiary in France that was seeking to distribute them to the European market also meant a future ramping up of distribution income.
This pr also mentions the distribution agreement with CAV as being one of the reasons the outlook has never been better and a reason why the 1st quarter has proven so productive.
BSEG signed a new distribution agreement with CAV Distribution for the release of Big Screen's DVD's, Blu-Rays and VOD into high volume retail outlets as Wal-Mart US/Canada, Target and Best Buy for North America.

Now that I have spent the last few hours reading older filings and I don't see any distribution income and they mention distribution every q I am second guessing it although that was prior to the relationship with CAV.
The way I assumed it would work is as they ship new releases and replacements for old releases that have sold out they would be paid for it. I assumed this would happen on a regular basis.
As far as the other income go's I see no mention of what that was so I have no idea.
