I am well aware who is driving the bus. I am also aware that the driver turned around and asked my opinion about amending the 2000 plan.
You have a very short memory. I was the guy who stood up for management when DD and Marchma began posting about excessive compensation last year. I was the guy who asked them to table their comments until the big 3 could be completed. They told me that management would seek more at the next ASM, and I told them they were wrong. Well, it turns out they were right.
Since that time, option expensing issues have heated up significantly in D.C. and buy out rumors are spreading like forest fires in a 35 MPH wind. Because of the uncertainties of both, I have made a decision to vote no at this time.
I have posted that management is doing what all of us would do by asking for the increase. I have posted that I do not find it offensive that the request is being made. I simply do not agree with it at this time. If that is hurting something, then I do not know what to say.
I find it more petty that you challenge my right to express my opinion on an issue that was started and asked by the bus driver. I also find it amazing that you think I am a bandwagon type guy. I do not have the slightest idea what you are talking about with regard to a management overthrow. I am patiently waiting for them to close the deal on 3g and capture the other 2g players on board to build recurring revenue on the way out of one technology and into another. This will be the test for assessing their performance.
