My guess is they decided a few months back to expand the Direct trial to Germany, based on the PEI HE approval of DCVAX-L. It just wasn't announced until recently. Germany appears to be a much friendlier environment to operate in for small pharmas. Maybe too many paid for FDA and other Big Pharma influences here in the US to be successful in the near term.
