I agree that money is a factor and schools across our nation are stretched thin but wasting money on food that is thrown in the garbage can is just plain wasteful. So you don't think the fact that many of the children are throwing their lunch in the garbage can is an important factor?

My kids were on the tennis team, ski team and ran track and field, and they weren't hungry either, but that was prior to Michelle forcing her nutritional rules on them. Those were the days when they headed out to school after a good healthy breakfast. And they were not even close to being overweight. Plus they ride their bikes everywhere.
