The Home page of the TangiersCapitalLLC web site says it better than I possibly could :

"This is done through the acquisition of stock, convertible debt, warrants, and other instruments from target companies at an appropriate discount"

See that word? "target"

That's the sort of up-front contempt they have for the companies they fund. ( such as NBRI )

Says it all, doesn't it? Wonder how big a BULLS-EYE they saw in NBRI when Perry came calling?
