Well, that makes two of us, particularly when I find it hard to conceive how any one of Marchma's compelling reasons could have resulted without a carefully crafted and well executed strategic plan. Does the "underlying technology" come packaged with a strategy that will maximize its commercial value? I think not. That is management's job and management's essential and considerable value to the shareholder. It seems to me that Marchma's most compelling reason is #14 and I am in total agreement with it. Yet he seemingly feels that management shouldn't be allowed to point with justifiable pride to, and take the full credit for, the fact that IDCC is "strategically positioned." Who would he instead hold accountable for strategy origination and execution?????

14. IDCC is strategically positioned within an explosive industry, which is projected to generate astronomical future revenues, and offers superior value over its competitors.
