See how it has progressed and the direction?

Now we know, Tim and "others" owns Nova privately.

Now, we can list the pro's and con's to come up with odds on the outcome.

I'm not seeing the Pro in the way that he did it. Thats all.

Seems like, if your theory was correct, there was no need for secrecy and backroom, armslength deals. In fact, it would have been a whole lot better to PR the heck out of it.
