Hi Dan, so I agree in principle that our emmission reduction efforts will probably not be enough to move the needle, I'm very disturbed by this comment:
Even if you believe that CO2 emissions warm the planet (I don't) and even if you believe that this warming, if it occurs, will be catastrophic (I don't).
These are pretty much facts, especially the first one. We can argue how much CO2 emmisions warm the planet all day long but to dismiss the relationship of CO2 to the greenhouse effect is pretty ignorant.
China is an environmental nightmare.
The silver lining is that I've heard that solar activity will subside a little about 30 years from now, so our CO2 emmisions will actually prevent unwanted cooling.
How about that ?
