What I recalled most about the review meeting was a comment by one doc that went something like 'why should we put patients through all those horrible SE's for just a few extra weeks of life'? I'm suggesting that with lower dosing, either the SE's would lessen, or the drug may actually work better, or both.

Maybe they should try more drug too, but the lower dosing is what seems to be trick for Ariad drugs.
