PCL/RYN—New US residential construction in Apr 2014 grew 13% YoY to 1.07M units:

Residential building permits, a leading indicator for residential construction, reached 1.08M, the highest monthly total (seasonally adjusted) since Jun 2008 (just before the big recession).
