Longinus:
I, for one, have also shared the belief you have about Apple buying Tesla and eventually making an iCar. Google it. Imaginary drawings of it exist out there. The reality is this: Apple is thinking very long term. That know that at some point they need more than an iPhone to carry the day, so—with an eye ever on the future—they have targeted essential consumer items, i.e. t.v., car and house as products they want to manufacture. Everybody needs one of these.
And Liguidmetal could figure into this equation especially with cars. Think of it: automobiles made out of a lightweight but very strong material, scratch resistant, basically indestructible. You couple these properties with an iCar that is automatically piloted and now you have no more accidents. Because of its lightweight ….fuel consumption is way down, or if solar panel equipped fuel becomes an immaterial factor in the equation. Tesla is working on improving batteries…it all makes sense.
A friend of mine in the IT business told me in 1991 that "convergence" was where everything was heading.
I'm with you on this one.
Whether LQMT as an entity will survive is another thing….
Let's keep our fingers crossed for success.
