jVt, Disagreement aside, your post points out risks, big ones. IMO, that is important for the board. Good post.

In retrospect, one reason I know I ignored risk was the comfort of the bullish group think (old term) that this board fostered. Not nearly enough challenges to the bullish sentiment. Not enough reminders that it might be too good to be true. Not enough risk evaluation (although we polled for risk.)

While there still is plenty of bullish comfort here, in case it is not enough, there is another whole board (tc) that is essentially a dedication to the bullish sentiment.

History repeats itself all the time.
