Used a ASUS K200 notebook real time this week for a while. I was impressed with its performance. It is just a bit larger and heavier than T100 but has a lot more power. Has 4GB RAM and a much faster Celeron processor that will run full Windows 8 64 bit.
The K200 is $50 cheaper than the T100 at $300. The K200 has a 11.6" screen and 3 pounds vs 10" and 2.4 for T100. So no real big difference here.
The T100 has the advantage (maybe) of having a detachable keyboard.
The 64 bit capability would possible allow me to run anything I run now on my laptop. So I am really weighing this capablility. Any comments about how important this could be?
This was my first experience with Windows 8. I have gotten so use to using my iPad, that I actually sorta enjoyed having the option of using touchscreen or operating the standard mouse mode. Drawing on my charts with the touch pad was a real challenge, adding a mouse seems necessary for better control. I have never liked touch pads.
