Hey NY, there are distinct reversal periods for gold in every session, problem is, it seems when you bet on a reversal, the darn stuff decides to continue the established trend and vice versa. I do better in Asian and European sessions than in the US time period, things are slower and more predictable, gold doesn't generally react to Asian or European data to the degree it reacts to US data, plus the slack jawed floor traders, who cause most of the havoc and disruption in the US session are in dreamland, tightly tucked in bed. Gold is a tough mother to trade, tougher than all the commodities for sure, perhaps with the exception of nat gas, which is more rigged than any of them. I've had my good days and bad, in my opinion rapid fire or sit and wait are the safest plays, "safe" being used figuratively, of course. ;)
