Umbra....your assumption that I am a shareholder of ERHC is correct. Your assumption that I bought ERHC without considering management and their compensation is incorrect. I try to look at every aspect of my investing which, of course includes management and what they're paid.
I have been invested in co's where management has been extremely overpaid (specifically USTT.ob which is now USAT.ob). Lesson learned but not forgotton. Here is verification of said lesson:

I did sell. 100%. I suppose I continue to watch this stock for two reasons:
1) I truely do like the concept.
2) I can't believe how management gets away with screwing its shareholders.
If you go back through my posts on this board you will quickly see that initially I was very positive on USTT. Then came the blatant falsification of revenue which had followed the outrageous compensation package news. It was at that point my tolerance for management slid to the bottom of the hill. I wish you, Walnut and other longs the best of luck and certainly hope each of you were able to average down the last couple of weeks.

All said....I most certainly do consider management pay a critical part of investing.
I guess my concern with the secretivness is whether Mr. Brandhuber got a good deal for himself and a very poor deal for shareholders....or simply a fair and equitable deal for all involved. I am all for paying management their worth. If they make money for me, a shareholder, they certainly deserve equitable compensation for same.
