Y in the world would you need booster technology?
TAO 2014-04-02: To optimize the take off, a booster technology was tested. After successfully descent and some sky tours the TAO-Nauten-Team and the SkyDragon came back home safely.

Only thing I can think of is lets say you take up an additional energy pack (booster) and when it's exhausted, you parachute it back to home base.
