euterpe1 - Your mini-bear scenario could happen, but I am thinking it has been a pullback/correction in the metals and any further downside is probably over. As far as Oil goes, the pullback/correction has just begun. I doubt we will see a mini-bear because these are LIMITED natural resources that have increasing world demand. The increasing demand is what will keep metals and oil going into bear mode. IMO, they would be good to add to a diversified portfolio after the correction looks like it is over. For metals, I believe that time is now. For oil, I would wait.

May 23 - IMO, any price at/above this close makes a great Nasdaq/SP500 short.
