BOP privately would do nothing to gain public/member confidence that the concept is being addressed somewhere on the site.

Rember IHUB to me is Informative Harmoniously Understood Boards is the primary concept in my simplistic expression.

By allowing public venting and questioning Chair's action that is purely acceptable to keep a Chair in check and hear the rest of the story. Remember all the facts are not always at the disposal of the public view.

Now also in accordance with this logic that the chair should not be challenged publicly ... Bob just went through a scenario to make him aware that he is being watched. That is now a dead horse and time to move on.

If you step to a position of control then your actions should come under scrutiny or else there is not need for Bob and IRC rules govern. This is not IRC or SI and people are sick of the bullies and the thread disruptors than mess up board and affect the harmonious flow of information.

Also not all Chair's are going to be right or fair. Member confident will grow when they feel they can post in a harmonious environment that is fair.
