Rena, I feel pretty much the same way. I tend to believe in goodness and honesty, and this has been a great disappointment. I guess I finally have to accept that this investment is a "goner".
Rachel
Hi Stranger,
When did your new "common from preferred" shares show up? I just checked my account, and I still have the same number I have always had; however, my preferred show .00. Any suggestions.
Thanks, Rachel
Rena, Jack, Campe, and all - long time, no post. I do follow this thread from time to time. When should we hear about the conversion of preferreds?
Rachel
Jack, good luck. John is right - it is a thankless job. We do so desperately need communication from the company. Many of us have been incredibly patient, and the company should repay us with communication.
Rachel
Thanks Rena.
Rolo and Rena, good to hear from you both. I too am still hear, but just don't post with any frequency.
Rachel
What's up?
Pete, I cannot imagine how difficult that must have been. My heart goes out to you and that family.
Pete and Bill, I noticed the same thing and was puzzled that CVIA wasn't mentioned at all.
I hope you are right, Eugene. No, I haven't heard anything at all about KAA - no rumors - nothing. I hope he is not doing well.
I am well. Thank you. Still hoping CVIA will become a viable business with shareholder communication, annual meetings, etc.
Rachel
Did I end the thread? VBG Rachel
My mistake. I meant activity. I just hope it's good.

What's up with all the sales the last couple of days?
S_T is obviously intelligent and could be of real value, but his inexcusably filthy language and name-calling tends to completely ruin dialogue.
I absolutely agree that management owes shareholders information - good or bad - and updates to all about what is happening. They have not treated us right.
Rich, you are absolutely on target about communication. It would go along way to gain support if they would communicate several times a year.
Thanks Rich. I agree. I keep hoping that we will finally head up, but it has certainly become discouraging - especially with late filings and NO COMMUNICATION other than the crazies on RB.
Rachel
Hi, what is your take on the filing yesterday? It doesn't sound too good to me.
Rachel
Hi Bill,
Does the lack of communication here mean that people really do not want serious discussion? I couldn't resist. VBG
Hi Pete. I surely do wish all the intelligent posters had come over here. I can't believe how bad the RB thread has been for quite some time now - a total and complete waste of time.
Are we ever going to move up? Good to hear from you.
Rachel
Although RB has been pathetic for a long time, at least there was an occasional informational post. Now, for some time, it has been an absolute and total wasteland, and they finally succeeded in running me off.
Rachel
Bill, you are absolutely right that it is not inappropriate for him to ask. It is his "posting approach" that is so very irritating. Actually, I believe him to be quite intelligent and knowledgeable, and frankly, I just wish we all could benefit from his background and knowledge without all the "wasted put-down" posting.
I too value dissenting voices and often play that role. Ialso didn't know that monarch 55 is the same as George Russell. Your questions are good ones, and I would like the answers as well. I think actually you and I are on the same page - just maybe ST's posts irritate me more than they do you, or maybe I lost my sense of humor (but I certainly hope not). VBG
I see that he talked with Tuorto, and it sounds like it might have been a productive call.
It was good to read your post - right on!
Rachel
Rena, you may well be right, but in some ways, it would almost be worth a price to be rid of his posting.
Rachel
Well, I for one, think it totally inappropriate for him to be paid more than the market price for his shares, and that is what it sounds like he is negotiating. Lots of things are really rotten.
I have long since lost any sense of humor whatsoever with ST's problem. He has become a total and completely boring poster. I certainly hope Farris doesn't pick up where he left off. ST has literally, in my opinion, ruined RB for sensible posting. Every now and then, it happens, but for the most part, RB is a "vast wasteland". It is unfortunate because I suspect he is quite intelligent and has much to offer. I think we could learn from him if he could get over his problem.
I concluded $1 or more due to ST's phrase "left of the decimal". Rich, I agree. I can't believe what I think I am reading, but then what's new?
I have read the diatribe on RB. Do I understand correctly that ST is negotiating to sell his shares at $1 or more and exit CVIA?
This is and has been one of my primary concerns - that they will do a RS. Rachel
Pete, thanks for the post - need the word out everywhere.
Hi Rich, interestingly enough, as of today, I have "hide the info" back. It has been gone for some time, but now it's back. Hope we have some good CVIA news soon.
Rachel
I too cannot hide the information any more - disappointing. I hope we get good news soon. We are due.
Eugene - good point
Rich, I too wonder if some "know something". It is always troubling to feel that some shareholders know more than others, but on the other hand, it has been encouraging news usually I honestly would like to believe that all of us receive information at the same time, but then again, we need all the encouragement we can get. I so want CVIA to move upward and onward for all shareholders.
Rachel
What happened to the "hide the CVIA introductory info" opportunity. It is missing.
Amen Fitz. You are absolutely correct.
Rena, I affirm your post and your wishes. I hope 2002 is wonderful for us all. Thanks to Jeff and all for the good wishes. May 2002 be happy and successful for each of you and your families.
Rachel
Unfortunately, that's what I thought it said. I just hoped I was wrong.
Thanks,
Rachel
Okay, I read the filing. Now, will one of you bright shareholders simplify and tell me in a nutshell what it means. Thanks,
Rachel
WWW, thanks for your remarks. I hope everything works out well for you, for all us long shareholders, and for CVIA.
Good luck,
Rachel
