It's called a box trade and most brokerages do not allow it.
Ok, after a much needed break from ADXS and these boards, I'm back. Down well over $2mm on this stock and seriously considering dumping my 400k+ shares. At this point, at $0.70, I can salvage some money and put it to work before it goes to zero. Is there anything in the foreseeable future that would give you confidence to stuck around? I'm not looking for cheerleaders, I'm looking for data. Give me the good, bad and ugly. I've grown quite tired of trying to convince myself that this company has a future. Please talk me off the ledge...
At these prices, I can double my investment and reduce my average price by 50% (currently $5.60). The question is, am I making a good investment or just throwing good money after bad??? Time for a drink! LOL
210k??? Hmmm... I'm well beyond that. Maybe I should request a seat on the board! LOL
I'm sitting on over 400,000 shares. I was voting "yes" on the shares authorization thinking they needed them to be in a better negotiating position, but will now be changing my vote to "no". Maybe they will be forced to sell since they won’t be able to raise additional cash. This offering will barely keep them afloat for a quarter at this share price.
I'm in Davie/Ft. Lauderdale. Hoping for a little mercy from Irma. I'll be very happy to find out that we were bought out for a nice premium whenever our power comes back on! LOL
Sounds good, GB! Let's try to meet up at the event and share a drink or 2!
LMAO... Good luck with that one, James! Try telling her you're taking her to NYC for your anniversary and then just "coincidentally" find yourself in front of the conference bldg at the scheduled time. :)
Just got the email invite for the investors conference in NY. I'm gonna fly up for the event. Anyone else going?
Congrats James! As the father of a 19 year old daughter, I know my time will come soon enough. LOL. Glad you were able to hold onto your shares during the process. With any luck, you'll be handsomely rewarded for your loyalty!
Not so much brainwashed. Just choosing to have a "big picture" perspective, as opposed to focusing on the day to day fluctuations in SP. It's easy to sit here and be frustrated by the lack of progress with our investment. I'm fairly new to ADXS (2 years or less) so perhaps I dont have the same "skin in the game" as some long term shareholders on this board, but I share their frustration. In reality, though, we are a speculative baby bio and, as such, we almost always have a need for capital. Until our products are generating revenue, we may have to take some lumps now and again. Again, I'm NOT advocating this position, but its the reality of what we have decided to invest in. Perhaps new management would handle things
differently, but differently doesnt always mean better.
As far as an obligation to shareholders value goes, I don't necessarily agree. I've always invested in companies because I like the way that management was doing things and I wanted to be a part of the growth that I expect to follow. I would rather a company follow it's own road map than focus on a short term ROI for its investors. If management is on point, both sides will achieve their desired reward. If not, then its time to cut your investment short and move on to a different company. In my opinion, we are light years ahead of where we were before this new management team took over.
Again, I'm not here trying to be an applogist for management. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. It's just that the majority of the posts on this board bring nothing to the table other than anger, frustration and negativity. If that described me, I would prefer to find another investment and put my energy into something that brought me happiness rather than negativity.
Just my 2 cents. If you want to bash my post, save your time, as the opinions of others on this board are not going to effect me either way.

Fbg, do you think the company is better off or worse off than it was when Dan took over the reigns? I truly believe that Dan is trying to make us relevant for the long term. While you may not agree with every step along the way, I believe that his intentions are good and that he is taking the steps that he believes will benefit ADXS... shareholders and management alike. I could be wrong, but I'm putting my money where my mouth is.

There was nothing to like or dislike from yesterday's meeting. It was strictly a formality. Nothing earth shattering. We, as a collective, seem to be so preoccupied with the daily pulse of the share price, that we become myopic. Small cap bios are not a day to day "attention grabber" investment... At least not until they have something of value to report. If you want volatility, trade commodities or forex. This stock is a thinly traded baby bio. As such, its relatively easy for HFT's to ride the SP up and down at will. Its just noise. So sit back and enjoy your life. Share a drink with friends. Go on vacation. Spend some quality time with your family. In the end, the share price will take care of itself.
I would expect positive news long before October of 2018. :)
Sorry for the delay, guys... decided to stick around and catch a Broadway show while in town. LOL
No, no drinks. No POTUS either. The meeting itself was short and to the point. Everything was over in about 20 mins. Afterwards, I had a chance to spend time with the upper management... CEO, CFO, CSO, etc... Great group of professionals. Very open and approachable. Both Dan and Mr. Petit sat with my fiance and myself for about 90 minutes and gave us a layman's take on the how our platform works. I didn't press them on the current share price, but it seemed pretty clear that they are aware of the current share price and have a game plan on making this company the best it can be. I also got the feeling that the large institutional investors are all on the same page as management and are perfectly content with the long term corporate goals. Without getting into too many details, let's just say that I was very impressed and will be adding to my position every chance I get.
Guys, our technology is pretty impressive and I'm hopeful that, at some point in the not too distant future, we will be in a position to not only help our bottom line as investors, but the many patients that need our platform to improve the quality of their life! GLTAL!!!
Most definitely...
Any other requests? LOL
I'm curious to see how many investors at the meeting share our sentiments. Hoping to get a little 1 on 1 time with DO at some point to address some of the consistent concerns on this board.
Just boarded my flight to NYC for the shareholder meeting tomorrow. Is anyone else from here going?

Tradestation account... I had to kill the other link. I accidentally uploaded it with the account number visible. :(
But of course!
I'm trying to attach a screenshot of my Tradestation account, but I don't know how to do it. Grrrr...
Good to know. I am holding 150k in Tradestation and 200k with Credit Suisse. Neither of them allow margin on it.
I'm not sure about other brokerages, but I'm with Tradestation and, with them, ADXS is non-marginable. It kinda sucks because I'm a trader by nature and this stock being non-marginable puts a dent in my ability to trade other stocks. But, oh well.... I held onto the shares when it hit $16 after the Amgen deal was announced and it hurt to watch it all disappear, but I believe in the science and don't want to be on the sidelines if/when a life changing deal is announced. Until then, I wait... like everyone else here. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, we're all toasting each other with the finest drink money can buy! LOL. GLTAL
I'm up to 350k in total. I was able to drop my average cost to just under $9/share with this last round of purchases. A bold bet, indeed. LOL
I added 50k shares yesterday. Wish I had a crystal ball and had waited til today, but I'm not going to complain. These prices are a gift! GLTAL
I didn't sell when the AMGN news was released. I'm an investor now. Stopped trading ADXS months ago. Admittedly I would have made a pretty penny playing the swings, but I'm not going to 2nd guess my decision. I believe in the technology and the company and, with a little patience, we'll all be dancing in the streets in the not too distant future! GLTA
I currently own over 300,000 shares with an average price of approximately $9:25. Not sure how many shares anyone else holds.
Those 99k are mine. I actually just changed the order from 99k to 149,350. Tired of watching them walk it down to the 7's whenever news fails to lift the PPS. I'll be in again, but at a lower cost. I watched my money disappear day by day when it popped to $16+. Convinced that it was going to bounce, I held. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice. Shame on me.

Easymoney, send me your email in a private reply and I'll respond to your email.
The amount referenced was PROFIT, not value. And yes, I own 400k shares. 200k shares with Tradestation and 200k with Credit Suisse. I'll be glad to post screenshots if you need proof. But, in all honesty, I don't see the need to come on here and lie about what I have or don't have. As for DO, I dont know or care how many shares he has. I just want him to do his job and put this company in the best position to thrive.
I own 400k shares at an average price of $8.75. Not sure if that puts me in the peon section or not. I've always been a day trader, but, since jumping onboard ADXS, I've strictly been an investor. Not to say that watching my investment grow to $3.3 million (post AMGN) only to fall back to the less than $500k that it is at now, didn't hurt. However, I'm a believer in the company and the technology and will continue to hold long.
