You are 100% correct. Some deals can take over 6+ months to hash-out. The Phase 3 TLD NW Bio just released has huge ramifications in the Oncology field (not just GBM, but on the whole solid-state cancer realm), and as such there is a astronomical amount of money at stake. Does anyone here honestly think that BP hasnt approached NW Bio??? Of course they have, and anyone suggesting otherwise is just flat out stupid or denying this fact for some sort of alterative motive (ie: short, etc). Drug development advancements seldom occur within a BP these days, it the smaller companies that are the true innovators....BP has become to large and cumbersome for these advancement's to take place. They have become more financers than anything else. They buy their way to future revenue, not through innovation. NW Bio will be eventually be bought out, and I suspect something big is on the horizon in regards to this ;) But then again I have zero inside information.
-Fireman
you will get your wish.
Account for all shares, short and long. Make sense? Does this seem like a strategy NW would take if they wanted to crush the counterfeit short sellers?? Thats all you need to know.
-Fireman
no comment, sorry.

Keep in mind, it was not my idea, but was told that NW Bio's situation has gained the attention of a few influential Politian's after the law-suit, which was pretty widely publicized for a few days after the filing in NY Fed. Court. In the USA, this is how change happens plain and simple. I have worked for the largest Federal Land Management Agency in the US for over 30 years....so I speak from experience. I even testified during the Obama years, after the Affordable Care Act was passed, and Type 1 Hotshot Crew Firefighters still didnt have health insurance and related benefits. Can you imagine? Sending some of the most highly skilled firefighter's in the world, into some of the most dangerous situations mother-nature has to offer, and the Federal Government didnt give them health insurance, after mandating every other business' must? We did get the change however, but it took political pressure to do so. I was "voted" to be the mouthpiece within the firefighting community by my peers. I always operated on the fridge and never got involved in such political matters. But I had no choice tis time. I consider NW Bios situation to no different. Trying to bankrupt a cancer development company?? Yes, that is what they have been trying to do. I didnt believe it up until recently, but people/friends much smarter than me when it comes to these things have told me that is what most likely is happening after looking into it in more detail.
My best friend died of GBM within 2 months with not many options. Never again.

CONACT YOUR POLITIANS
Starting after the New Year, Contact you local Senators in regards to NW Bio. Do not do it now, do it after the New Year but be certain to do it.
I was told to post this publicly, as their have been some politicians in DC that have heard of NW Bio and the current situation concerning market manipulation of a Cancer drug company being manipulated by Wall Street. It has gotten their attention, but the word needs to spread. I cannot tell you what Politicians know just yet, but will once we get more backing from their peers. I am sure we will all find out. And not from me. Remember, cancer has hit everyone, rich and poor, including the POTUS, and this is story IS gaining traction, it just needs more support. Thats how these things work in DC. Do it, and dont forget to do it. I already did after learning about this info, as I have a someone I know pretty well who is a Constituent Aid for a local Senator.
As some of you know, my best friend, who was also a firefighter, died of GBM 6 years ago at the young age of 38....2 months from time of diagnosis to death. Good man and firefighter and a even a better friend. It some of the reason I have invested in NW Bio so heavily. We will get it. More news to come....dont worry. That all I can say.
Merry Christmas.

If a BO offer is anywhere in the $6-10 billion range, I will be well rewarded and "rich". Although being "rich" is very subjective term. Anything above that would be gravy. I have always tempered my expectations with SP offers and never subscribed to the $25+ SP targets. That will take time to achieve through approvals and related revenue/earnings. I do prefer NW remain independent, but dont think that will be the case for very long.
One the other hand, if you only own a few 1000 shares then no, you wouldn't be rich. You better start buying.

Remember this name, it will become relevant soon. More so than Ms. Posner.

While much larger in size, and against the FDA Advisory Panel, the FDA approved Biogens drug that showed little to no benefit. And this drug had some major adverse side effects along with the need for hospital visits for IV to administer the drug.
The FDA will not require another Phase 3. A confirmatory Phase 4, yes, maybe, but not another Phase 3. Patients and Advocacy groups will demand access to the drug, and these folks hold more weight in what gets approved than anytime in the past. Add in the extremally good safety profile, the ease of administrating 2-73 to the patient, and a progressive and deadly disease, and what you get is acceptance and world-wide approval of Anavex2-73. Nobody can convince me of anything different. Not even the guy who claimed the PDD trial failed its clinical endpoints and was completely wrong.

Also, please got back to my post on 5/8/22. Way before any short waterfall event ever happened. I stated I was selling half, and people thought I was crazy.
-Fireman
and for the record I only own 234,350 shares. Not the 3 million you claim.

NEVER EVER invest money (or divest) because someone on a message board gives you info. Ever. You have zero idea of who I am, along with anyone else on this board. Do what YOU think is correct. Never let anyone sway your opinion either. If you believe anything I say, believe this.
The "rest" will come in due time. That I am 100% sure of.

Hope,
I sold 50% to cover my initial investment once it was up over 200%, something which I always do. I dont like to give money back to WS, ever. The reason I sold on 5/10 is because the SP action seemed fishy to me...we stalled at $1.80ish. If the stock was heading higher, it would have done so on 5/8 or 5/9 . I am not selling now, and actually have been a pretty large buyer the past 2 weeks.
-Fireman
and I dont predict share-prices of any stock I own. Never have. Its a fools errand.
Nvidia going from $9 to $800+ in less than 5 years? Who would have ever predicted that? Nobody. Its much easier to sell for a profit when you dont have specific numbers floating around in your head. Remember that. It will make much more efficient at making $$$ in the stock market.
-Fireman
you keep assuming, I will stick with what is known.
-Fireman
Oh yes it would. Short sellers would be "called off" on day one of such an announcement. Its the way it works.
A JV would open the door to large intuitional investors to take pretty hefty positions in NW. Make no mistake about it.

Instanet: Greenberg Traurig, LLP
GTS: Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP
Canaccord: Morrison & Foerster, LLP
yes, up 35-50% on the shares I bought back, depending on the lot. I did not sell during the latest run to $1.20 however. Missed opportunity? nah...to damn close. I have been adding, not selling.
Everyone should be overweight NW Bio at this point in time.

My prediction on 5/10 netted me $140,000+k profit. Yours?

I believe so. I talked with Brian from Fidelity (He is my go to and have his cell, been dealing with him for 17 years). He said shares cannot be lent out in a margin account with my knowledge unless I have a OPEN margin position. If that's the case, any shares, in any company within your portfolio can be loaned out without notice by Fidelity.
-Fireman
putting shares up for sale and having the sell-side order executed is not illegal. Its when they create the illusion of massive blocks for sale, that are canceled before being filled, that is illegal.

NO

The OTC is a necessary evil. Without it these small companies would not have access to capital. Its why it exists, and while not ideal, it does serve a purpose.
-Fireman
you have to have a OPEN margin position for them to loan your shares. Its just not if you have margin enabled.
-Fireman
same Dude that was predicting .58 a few weeks ago.
You predications are worthless.

I purchased 41,311 at the open. Thanks for the shares Mikey.

bet against it, I dare you.

Twitter usage is through the roof. Dont ever doubt anything Mr. Musk touches or puts his mind too....it eventually will turn to gold. He is not the worlds richest man for no reason. He is smarter, brighter and more determined than any CEO, ever. Even if its in his own funny way, he is a pure genius. Autism will do that to people.

correct.
"When you file a lawsuit of this type, you never go after just what the actual loss was which are considered compensatory, you go after punitive damages as well. And if they win, those punitive damages could be astronomical".

The trap was set a few years ago. I was told Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll would not have taken the case if there was less than a 75% chance they could win during litigation. The Milstein & Sellers trading data goes back to 2017 and was collected over these years. I suspect this will open Pandoras Box in terms of information and evidence gleamed during discovery. Spoof trading may end of being one of MANY charges filed against Citadel and the others.....I was told this as well. And if Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll find fraud, this will trigger the SEC and FBI involvement.
I do not know much about these things, but I do know someone who does. He is following this case closely and knows a few of the lawyer's who work for Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll in their DC and Florida offices. These are people heavy hitters and have litigated cases (and won) against some of the biggest name out there.......Google, Boeing, Bayer and Wells Fargo to name just a few. It was a good choice by NW Bio on who they choose to litigate this lawsuit. These people are out for blood, make no mistake about it.

Thanks Jar.
There are a few here I would like to meet in person after this is all "over". I could invite a few of you to my "territory". Its beautiful here....ocean/beaches and only 2 hours from the mountain's. Sailor Jerrys flows freely in these parts, particularly during the summer. In the winter all about Rumchata or St. Brennan's mixed with something warm.
As far as my job, it not really a job. Its a place where I get to have fun, get the hang-out with best friends, travel around the US to some super-cool places, and get paid for it. Not much though, and its all earned. No free rides in this profession. With that being said, its a young mans sport. 30 years of doing this and another 7 to go. Lost some good friends along the way but it makes you become even more committed to the "mission"...protect and serve. I will admit: I will be happy when I dont have to watch the weather anymore, plan EVERYTHING in my life around whats burning and where, and finally get some sleep during the summer. And when the day comes when all I have to carry is my fishing rod. Loaded down fire packs and chainsaws are getting heavy these days.
Thanks for the kind words. Enjoy your weekend.
