From .30 to a dollar move?
What’s your target here? Looking to buy at some point?
There’s a good chance I’m wrong on this but I feel like the fact nothing is gonna come from the courts gives the government the ability to settle this with their absolute terms. It means maximizing the most of theirs and giving shareholders a minimal compensation (could be a few bucks per share).
Still waiting for a decent dip to get in?
Starting to think it might see 5 before 3.5
Looks like it’s going up steadily. I thought it’ll test 2.8 again guess I was wrong
En Banc decision was to send the case again to lower court so shareholders can once again challenge the legality of the sweep. They clearly stated that their decision doesn’t invalidate the sweep not the SPSA agreement.
Not sure if they’d wanna do anything before the elections
From what I understand - En Banc sends the case back to the judge for another trail but doesn’t invalidate the NWS unless the lower court will decide so
Looking to exit?
What’s your target for this run?
Look again
You think it’s going to 5?
The GSEs are reporting tomorrow?
Just wanted to make sure nothing has changed from your side. $5 seems to be a fair price for the current situation. Perhaps if next week’s action is positive we can guess that there’s a leak of the new plan.
What do you think about the news and the stock action?
What’s your target for this run?
FNMAS is up a dollar and 60 cents - what's up?
Hey JJ8, I hope you are well.
I would be happy to hear your opinion of the latest trend and action here. Do you see a high possibility of going higher in the near future?
Your opinion is very respected.
Seems like nobody has any idea of what's going on.
Yeah they do - they enjoy the the volatility on that one.
I wonder if the end of the run is here yet
How low do you think it will go this time?
Where is he speaking today?
Whats your target for this rub blue?
Do you have a link that shows when and where he is going to speak ?
What's up with FNMAS, pfds are out preforming commons by a lot. Used to be 2x more now almost 3x
If the companies go on receivership, what happens to their debt? Does it now add to the Gov deficit?
Fine but the court called it legal right ?
He said Obama administration took money from different agencies to fund different gov activities
What exactly is this fanniegate worth? First of all the courts are ruling against shareholders in every case. Second, most of these people who tweet fanniegate probably bought the stock just recently - they are entitled to nothing. Mnuchin is saying " I never said privatize them, he will do what's good for him and for the gov eventually, he doesn't give a damn about shareholders.
After the tax reform is being placed, what are the options for the GSEs after ?
Recap and release, receivership or what else?
What's up with the big blocks
Mortgage bankers association
Whats up with pfds? +10% today
It didn't sound like anything to me. He said treasury has won the lawsuit and he wants to protect taxpayers. Looking carefully at reform and will take his time on this issue. Wouldn't be surprised to see it getting dragged for another 2-3 years
I always appreciate your comments and analysis JJ8.
Hoping to get a nice pullback on the PFDS soon.
