Twister. I suggest you call John for that answer. I believe you'll like the answer. He just returned my phone call I made not to long after your post. Ask him about what engineers are working on it and how they are going about it. I talked with an engineer yesterday who confirmed that is the correct process to take. I realize this is a very frrustrating time right now. I do believe you will find out their are enough people working on it. Time for work. Later.

Star of "The West Wing," Martin Sheen
'The Most Shocking TV Season Ever'
NBC Plans on Blaspheming God, Major Networks Gearing Up for All-out Attack on Traditional Values
The major TV networks are preparing for their most shocking and debased programming ever with this season's new TV shows. The New York Times confirms that NBC's "The West Wing," which stars actor Martin Sheen, is planning to blaspheme God in a way that has never been done before on national TV. CBS and ABC, not far behind, are planning to show sex scenes and use language never before aired on broadcast TV – including use of the "F" word. Network executives say they have to sink to new lows to keep advertisers who want to reach younger audiences that are turning to cable programs. NewsMax Editor Christopher Ruddy writes that The Network Executives Can 'Shove It.' The New York Times reports that decency standards are becoming obsolete because the public doesn't care and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) receives few complaints from citizens. You can let FCC Chairman Michael Powell and the rest of the FCC commissioners know how you feel about NBC's plans to defame God and new challenges to decency by sending a FREE e mail to the FCC – Click Here. Aley was an NVEI shareholder. But more important then that she was a special person who brought joy to many.
Below you can find out some more about Diane who we knew as Aley.
OBITUARY
DIANE BARBARA DORNBUSCH
1943-2001
Diane Barbara Dornbusch of Kincardine, Ontario died suddenly in a car accident August 28, 2001 on Bruce County Road 17 near Tara Ontario.
She was born January 22, 1943 to the late Cecil and Vivian Henderson in Port Arthur, Ontario (now a part of Thunder Bay). Diane held the distinction in that city of being the first ever female radio show host. In 1959 she married Hans R. Dornbusch, also of Thunder Bay. Together they continued to live in Northern Ontario in a landscape that she loved, and that inspired her artistic spirit.
In 1968, after brief sojourns in other parts of Southern Ontario, Diane and Hans moved to Port Elgin, where Diane took delight in tending her gardens, her beloved collies and their two young daughters, Lorraine and Erica. In 1973, the family settled in Kincardine.
Diane was a talented artist who worked in many mediums. Her creative expression was evident in everything she did, from knitting sweaters and baking bread, to landscape design and writing. Her paintings are in private collections around the world. Most recently, Diane found her niche in painting with enamels on porcelain, and at the time of her death was completing commissions from Kincardine, San Diego and Montreal.
Diane's spiritual community was global in its scope. She has kindred spirits and dear friends in such far-flung places as Tasmania, Bali, California, Montreal, London, and India. They celebrate Aley's memory.
Diane will be sadly missed by her husband Hans, daughters Lorraine Breckon and husband Kent Ball of Oakville, and Erica Dornbusch and husband Ken Steele of London, along with five grandchildren: Sarah, Heather, and Tyler Breckon of Oakville, and Kaitlyn and Taylor Steele of London. Diane is survived by twin sister Ruth Hawkes and Husband Ron of Woodstock, New Brunswick, and sister Arlene McCarrell and Husband Everett of Fergus, Ontario. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, and extended family members across Canada. Diane is predeceased by brother Keith Henderson, and parents Cecil and Vivian Henderson.
Arrangements were in the care of the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, with interment in the Kincardine Cemetery.

FATHER’S LOVE LETTER DEVOTIONAL This is an excerpt from the Father’s Love Letter Devotional written by Barry Adams Copyright 2000 Devotional Thought 45 of 53 “I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love” Romans 8:3232 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?NIV Bible The apple of the Father’s eye was His one and only Son. Jesus was the “only begotten of the Father” and laid upon His breast from the beginning of all things (John 1:18). The Father lived to please the Son, and the Son lived to please the Father. Nothing could ever separate them from the love they had for each other.Yet there came a time when they were indeed separated. The beloved Son of God left the safety of heaven and His Father’s right side to take on the form of a helpless little baby. While there was now a physical separation from His Father, they still remained one in heart and in spirit. Then the unthinkable happened. The pure Son of God who knew no sin, voluntarily took upon Himself the cumulative sin of the entire world. In the darkest moment in all of history, Jesus bore the weight of humanities’ ugliness. Since sin cannot dwell in the presence of a holy God, the beloved Father had no choice but to turn away from His beloved Son. Jesus’ response to His Father was the agonizing cry “My God, why have you forsaken me?” Their unity was broken for the first time and the Father was left to watch His son die alone on a cross. Father God gave up all that He loved in order to gain our love. If He did not spare His dearest treasure in order to win our freedom, how much more is He willing to graciously give us all things?

A Saving Faith
by Harold Camping,
A key phrase in our relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ is that which speaks of believing on Him.
John 3:16 declares, "Whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish." The jailer at Philippi asked the question, "What must I do to be saved?" and God's answer through the Apostle Paul was, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved and thine house."
What does that mean to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ? In Luke 8:13 we read about those who believed for a while, and then fell away because there was no root. In James 2:19 we read, "The devils also believe and tremble." In Acts 8 we read of the Samaritans who believed Philip as he preached concerning the things of the Kingdom of God. Yet we know they were not saved at that point because they had not received the Holy Spirit, and Romans 8:9 teaches us that, if we do not have His Spirit, we are none of His. Likewise in Acts 19 we read of the twelve Ephesians that believed, but they, too, at that time were not saved because they had not received the Holy Spirit.
What then does it mean to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ? How can it be that on the one hand God tells us to believe in Christ, and yet on the other hand God tells us there were those who did believe and yet were not saved. Certainly the devils who believe are not saved.
These apparent contradictions instruct us that we must look very carefully at the word "believe." There is far more to believing than just having a knowledge that Christ is the Savior, that He came to earth in the flesh as the God-man, that He paid for the sins of those who are saved, and that He rose again, having become completely victorious over death. Satan knows all these things, and yet he is unsaved. Unfortunately, there are a great many people in the congregations today who know these things and are still unsaved.
You see, there is a vast difference in believing with our minds or even with our emotions than in believing with our whole personality. To believe so that I am on the way to salvation means that I have hung my whole life on Christ. I have committed my whole being to Him. I have surrendered my will to Him.
I understand that more than a hundred years ago there was a man named Blandin, who actually stretched a tight rope across Niagara Falls and, in the presence of Edward VII, who then was Prince of Wales, did many extraordinary feats upon it.
Suppose that you were at Niagara Falls, and a man with that kind of ability with all his equipment was there to attempt such a feat. You watched with great interest as he and his assistants on the other side of the gorge were able to get the wire stretched more than 1000 feet across these mighty falls. Then your interest turned to enthusiastic admiration as you watched your new friend walk out over those falls with nothing more than a balance pole in his hand. Any misstep would mean sudden death for him, for surely he would plunge more than 160 feet to the rocks or the churning waters below. Yet he was so able, so clever, so experienced that seemingly it was impossible for for him to fall as he went through the most complicated routine out in the middle of that dancing wire. Finally he came back to shore and spoke to you:
"What did you think of my act?" And you with greatest sincerity and honestly replied: "I think you were terrific. I have not seen anyone with such tremendous ability to balance so beautifully in such a precarious situation." He then asked: "Do you think I could go through the same act with a man on my shoulders?" You instantly replied, again very honestly: "I believe you could do that without the slightest trouble. You are an exceedingly skillful tightrope walker." Seeing your enthusiastic confidence in him, he then suggests: "Look. You see the crowd that has gathered. Let's give them a demonstration of this. Suppose you climb on my shoulders, and let's show them that I am able to do this."
The moment of truth has come. You have just assured your friend that you believe he could perform his act with a man on his shoulders. You thought you were entirely convinced that he could do it, but now he has asked you to commit your life to him. If he failed, both of you would plunge to sure death below. Suddenly you realize that life is more important than risking it with this daring gymnast. The trust which you had placed in him emotionally because of your excitement and enthusiasm in seeing him in his death defying act vanishes like a vapor. The trust that you had in him by which you believed he was unconquerable in his abilities suddenly has become tarnished. You realize with utmost clarity you are not ready to believe in him to the point of entrusting your life into his care, and so your answer to him comes perhaps hesitantly but certainly with great depth of feeling: "I believe you could walk out on that wire with a man on your shoulders, but I am sure that I am not the man to do it with you. I must confess I do not believe in you that much."
Perhaps this poor illustration will serve to indicate the character of believing that is prevalent in so many today. How many are emotionally carried away with a trust in Christ because of the spiritual excitement that often is in evidence! How many intellectually are ready to acknowledge all kinds of wonderful things concerning Jesus Christ! Many of these are convinced that they are saved because they believe these things emotionally or intellectually, but they never have come to the point where they have entrusted their lives to Him, where they have hung their whole lives on the Lord Jesus Christ.
A true saving belief in the Lord Jesus Christ involves the act of self denial. Jesus declared in Matthew 16:24-25: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life will lose it, and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it."
This self-denial is evidenced in the fact that we earnestly desire to crucify the flesh and its desires. We want Jesus Christ to be on the throne of our lives with our wills altogether subordinated to Him. This self-denial is suggested in another way by the language of I John 2:3-4.
Because we have been saved, which is the result of that saving faith, there therefore will be found within our lives an ongoing earnest desire to be obedient to Him. This obedience is not there because of a desire for reward or merit of any kind whatsoever, but is a result of the fact that we have become born again. As born again individuals we have a continuing love for God.
This trust in the Lord, which is believing that leads to salvation, will be the kind that can stand the test of being alone in a sin-cursed world. Jesus said in Luke 14:26-27: "If any man come to Me and hate not his father and mother and wife and children and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple."
From a slightly different vantage point He said in I John 3:13: "Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you."
You see, to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ means that we have, by His grace, taken our stand with Him from this time forth and forevermore. We want Him to be Lord of our lives regardless of future circumstances.
But how can I believe this way? If I look at my life honestly, I am in rebellion against Him. I want to go my own way. I am my own man. I want to do my own thing. How can I surrender my will in this fashion to someone else?
Wonderfully, even the ability to believe in Christ is a gift of God. While such belief is contrary to every fiber of our beings, if we pray to the Lord for such a trust, and beseech Him that we want to have our wills surrendered to Him, God in His Divine mercy will give us that faith. But we must ask for this honestly. To believe in the Lord Jesus Christ is the moment of truth. It is the time when we recognize that all others avenues of escape from our sins and the wrath of God are closed. Christ is the only answer. The wonderful offer of salvation still rings out, declaring that, if we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be saved.
Have you entrusted your life to Him? Have you abandoned your whole being to His care? Have you come to the realization that in yourself you are spiritually bankrupt and therefore deserve to go to #### to pay for your sins? Have you come to the place where you realize that only in Christ can there be an answer for your sins? How gracious our Lord is that we can still go to Him in our rebellion and beseech Him for that saving faith which will lead to eternal life.

Title: God Loves Nobodies
Date Posted: 8/27/2001
Author: Bruce Wilkinson
Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 1:26-28 Verse Text: For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are. Have you noticed that Jesus was unusually attracted to people who had emptiness in their lives? And not just sometimes, but often. Losers and loners, the sick and the lame, the weak and the hungry—these were the ones He came for and whose needs He met. These were the ones He chose as His disciples. When you think about it, you realize that Jabez shouldn’t have made it. Into the record books, I mean. He began life as one of Israel’s certified nobodies. No fortune. No social standing. No special talents. No promising future.
You’d expect the mention of Jabez, then, to be dust in the back pages of Jewish history, along with Ezer, Koz, and Anub (and his other kin mentioned only in passing in 1 Chronicles). Yet we see that Jabez’s life ended up with significance, fulfillment, and honor.
The truth is, God loves nobodies! Have you ever heard of Agnes Bojaxhiu? She never went to college, married, or owned a car. Instead, she spent her life caring for the starving, the sick, and the dying on the streets of Calcutta, always insisting that her vocation was not social work, but “to belong to Jesus.”
You know her as Mother Teresa, Nobel Prize winner and founder of the Missionaries of Charity. Her stooped frame and wrinkled, joyful face became one of the twentieth century’s most recognizable symbols of faith in action. Today, the order she founded cares annually for five hundred thousand hungry families and ninety thousand lepers worldwide.
Yet a few years before she died, a journalist asked her, “What will happen, Mother Teresa, when you are no longer with us?” Her answer: “I believe that if God finds a person even more useless than me, He will do even greater things through her.”
Perhaps you feel uniquely unworthy of any kind of special blessing. You go through your days feeling vulnerable and weak (although you’ve probably learned to fake it pretty well). And you go to bed wondering, Will I ever get it together?
Let me gently clear up your confusion. The answer to that question is “No.” (Same answer for every other human, by the way.) But God has big plans for “useless” servants. Take a moment to grasp this amazing truth: Jesus is attracted to you! He loves to be needed by people like you and me who are absolutely convinced of our own inadequacies, people who know that without His unmerited generosity toward us, we would be and have nothing.
Have you been letting an exaggerated sense of your own inabilities or status keep you from the blessed life? You can change and leave that prideful trap behind. The very fact that you are so keenly aware of your weaknesses and limitations makes you a most promising candidate for God’s best.
From the dawn of time, your Father has known you and loved you. He’s not waiting today for you to get it together. He’s waiting for you to come to Him with open, empty hands.
My Jabez Journal: “Lord, thank You that You have big plans for a nobody like me! Now I beg You to pour Your extraordinary favor on me today. Bring to my mind the “small thing” You want to bless in my life.”

Matt. You should make it mandatory. Here is why. This way everyone who is already here re-registars and we clean up the aliases that already exist. You could have a 10.00, 15.00 on up price for people to re-registar at. This would give you a true count of numbers also. That way if you ever wanted to advertise on certain groups of boards you could. I personnally think you will regret saying no advertising. It doesn't bother me the least bit. And if you end up providing level 2 streaming and people complain then they have NO clue! Seems to me you should have on going cash flow to update site and possibly have money to pay someone else to help you with administration. All types of situations can come up where cash flow is needed. Your adds under posts were just fine. They didn't mess up the page or blare out at you. Just an opinion!

FROM MY PERSPECTIVE
by Bob Smithouser
By now, you are certainly aware that Aaliyah, the 22-year-old R&B singer, died in a terrible plane crash earlier this week. She was returning from a video shoot in the Bahamas when she perished along with eight other people. It's a terrible tragedy.
But you know what else I find tragic? All tolled, nine human beings lost their lives in this accident. Can you name more than one? Probably not. That's because the media and legions of grieving music fans have -- maybe without even realizing it -- valued one life above the rest.
Sure, Aaliyah was a well-known celebrity. She impacted countless people through her music. But when you stop to think about it, everyone on that Cessna 402 was equally precious in the eyes of God. He doesn't play favorites. In His economy, every loss of life, every mourning family stirs His heart the same way.
Listen, this story isn't going to go away. You'll hear about investigations into the cause of the crash. Magazines will run tributes to Aaliyah. There will be specials on MTV. Just keep in mind that, as the entertainment industry falls all over itself to honor one of its own, there were eight more. And their names are Scott Gallin, L. Marael, Eric Foreman, Gina Smith, Douglas Kratz, Keith Wallace and Christopher Maldonado. One other passenger, who remained in critical condition as recently as Thursday, is Anthony Dodd. Keep their families in your prayers.

I feel blessed for knowing Aley. She was a member of my email list of stories about Gods impact on our lives. She had written me and said she wanted to receive the stories. From that time on we had email conversations about God in our life. It was a joy for me to hear Aley tell me she was rededicating herself to God. Thank You Aley for the joy you brought me. Not only through your art but your kind soul. I'll be seeing you someday!

Hi John,
1. Is NV going to have a CTO named?
JH) There are several different titles that can be given the one who
directs the activities of an engineering project. CTO is one title that
includes being a corporate officer. Our project will not lack for
leadership and there will come a time that naming a CTO will be appropriate.
2. If not why not?
3. We have been told in order for media to believe in us we need
credibility.
I would think if we had named Greaves as CTO that would have opened us up to
the media and the industry taking us seriously. And yes I do realize he was
named to the advisory board. But in the business world and wallstreet.
Perception is everything.
That being said. And the PR today not listing Greaves to the CTO position.
How will we obtain that perception now?
JH) Are you suggesting that because we did not name Dr. Greaves as CTO,
all is lost? Our primary objective is commercializing our technology. We
believe that the role Dr. Greaves is playing is of more value to us than the
value would be of naming him CTO. We also believe that nothing has been
lost in our credibility campaign with the industry. If you will re-read
your previous paragraph, it is apparent that the media and perceptions are
the most important objectives. If you were to shift your objectives to
commercializing and selling to the telcos a new transmission technique, you
would be forced to establish a new set of priorities. Those new priorities
would permit the evaluation of our progress as measured by our associates
rather than by the current share price. Remember, over 80% of our share
price is totally outside our control, subject to overall market conditions.
Our associations are totally within our control so that is what we focus on.
4. Are we going to any fall trade shows?
JH) We are and will be making our presence known at the appropriate
industry gatherings.
5. Are we still on pace for fourth quarter revenues?
JH) We remain confident.
6. Could you please expand on the role of Adaptive? Are we helping them? Or
they helping us? Or well it be a mutual benefit?
JH) Dr. Propp and his assembled intellectual talent are being very helpful
to us in our commercialization efforts. We anticipate their contributions
to become even more important over time.
7. Can you confirm either yes or no if they are working on Cu@OCx for use
over powerlines?
JH) That is not the focus of the current project.
8. When does NV expect beta testing to take place. I know you don't like to
give out timelines. So how about we call this an estimated timeline?
JH) Our new engineering team has been working with us a short time. A
more accurate estimate of the timelines will be possible, but not quite yet.
9. Is Greaves writing the white papers? If so can you give an estimated
timeline of release to the industry?
JH) Dr. Greaves will be producing additional technical papers and will
result in white papers for public viewing. Any technical papers that the
industry views will be under NDA.
10. Would it make sense that whoever we are developing technology for right
now we'd be sharing a lab with them?
JH) That makes sense.

Hi Matt. I think the changes will be good. Lets face it. People don't like change. It's human nature. As far as aliases go though I think it would be a good idea for all current members to have to registar. This will stop current users from building up aliases for later use. I know this will be a very unpopular view. But I think it is best for everyone concerned.

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was leaving the room after paying a visit, and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door. On the other side of the door there came the sound of scratching and whining. As he opened the door a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice that dog? He had never been in this room before. He did not know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing: I know my Master is there, and that is enough. And when the door opens, I shall pass through with no fear, but with gladness."

At The Foot Of The Cross
Fearing the battle was over

I was tired of trying and failing.

So, dragging my battle-scarred body,

But I tried... I tried.. and still lost."
Then the air grew silent around me.
I heard his voice just as clear as the dawn:
"Oh, My child, though you are tired and weary,
you can't stop, you have to go on."
At the foot of the Cross, where I met Him,
At the foot of the Cross, where He died,
I felt love, as I knelt in His presence.
I felt hope, as I looked in His eyes.
Then He gathered me lovingly to Him,
as around us God's light clearly shone.
And together we walked though my lifetime
to heal every wound I had known.
I found bits of my dreams, long forgotten,
and pieces of my life on the floor.
But I watched as He tenderly blessed them,
and my life was worth living once more.
I knew then why I had been losing.
I knew why I had not grown.
At the foot of the Cross came the answer:
I'd been fighting the battle alone.
At the foot of the Cross, where I met Him,
At the foot of the Cross, where He died,
Then I knew I could face any challenge
together--- just my Lord and I.

Mary. I wish I could say my company doesn't have problems. But they do. LOL! Your comment about promoters against negative posters is correct. So much of RB has turned into that. Instead of healthy debate.
Excel - Greg
MMMary. You said.....Your tight knit community was created because you probably deleted other people's posts originally so they never came back.
Mary,
You seem to have a perception problem. What you have seen happen on other boards doesn't mean it happens everywhere. I enjoy debating the good and bad of my investment. For in the end both of us win. Because I may learn something I didn't know. I may see something differently. Or that person may learn something that turns them into an investor!
In my ibox I start off by saying we will discuss both sides of the coin. The good and the bad! By defending your investment you become either stronger or decide you need to do more research. Debate done in a cival manor is a good thing.
Now there are others who have agendas. They never call the company. They post outright lies in order to manipulate for financial gain. These are the type of people who aren't welcome. It is very obvious they aren't there for a debate but for a financial gain no matter what the cost. They haven't even appeared on our board yet from RB.
RB board has our link to ihub on it from time to time. They know all about our board. But they stay in the cess pool where they can do the most damage.
In conclusion. Before you accuse me make absolutly sure of what you speak about. Thank You!
Excel - Greg
Hi Matt. Well I'll just have to trust you. LOL! Do like the ibox. It allows me to add links that relate to the company that people are able to access quickly.
As far as fees go I'm going to have to think about that some more. Maybe get some opinions from fellow investors.

NEW VISUAL TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION
NV Technology is the developer of a revolutionary proprietary transmission technology that allows data to be transmitted across copper telephone wire at speeds comparable to fiber optic data transfer rates. The company
will market this pioneering technology to leading chipmakers, equipment makers, and service providers (such as telephone companies), in the telephony and telecommunications industries. This technology will allow these entities to reliably and cost-effectively provide voice, video and data content over the existing copper telecommunications infrastructure, eliminating the need for fiber optic cable to the home or office. NV Technology is a wholly owned subsidiary of New Visual Corporation.
The Need
The desire to easily, affordably, and quickly access voice, data, and video has increased as applications for media rich content have become more widely available. And, while the backbone of the Internet has been enriched with the extreme capacity and speed associated with fiber
optics, the local telephone network of copper wire remains a “bottleneck” barrier to accessing bandwidth-hungry applications such as music and video. To meet this need, a myriad of potential broadband solutions are being developed and introduced that attempt to replace (fiber) or bypass (wireless) the last mile of copper telephone wire across the globe. Most of these solutions are facing serious barriers to entry when deployed, either the needed infrastructure isn’t completely built out, or the cost for service providers is exorbitantly high.
Many have suggested fiber is the transport technology of the future, but excitement is waning as the expen-sive realities of laying fiber have surfaced. Industry analysts estimate that fiber will reach only 40 percent of U.S. businesses within the next 10 years. By the end of this decade, 10.9 million U.S. businesses out of 18.2 million will not be reached by fiber. Analyst firm Gartner Group estimates that the cost of providing fiber optic cabling to individual homes ranges from approximately $1,000 to $6,000 per household.
DSL technologies have been pointed to as the way of the future but have also run into significant barriers. According to Gartner Group, waning demand for the service
and the hesitancy of service providers and infrastructure investors to commit financially, have dulled many of the initial expectations for VDSL, the fastest version of DSL technology. One key reason for this cooling interest is the fact that current VDSL technology, like all existing copper-based technologies, has a distance limitation that prevents its use in remote areas.
By delivering fiber optic speeds over copper and increasing the range associated with high speed techologies such as VDSL over the existing telephone infrastructure, NV Technology can dramatically improve the status of broadband communications– allowing for the delivery of high-speed data without the complexity and financial burden of rebuilding national telephony infrastructure with fiber optic technology. Assuming no significant technology advancements, analyst firm Cahners In-Stat estimates the technology sector of the broadband industry will grow to a $24 billion market segment.
The Technology – Cu@OCx
Pronounced “copper at OCX,” this patent pending digital transmission technology allows data to be transmitted across existing telephone and Local Area Network cabling, either twisted copper pairs or coaxial cable, at unprecedented speeds and distances.
Using a proprietary multi-channel modulation technique, coined Group Frequency Modulation (GFM), Cu@OCx addresses the problems that limit effective bandwidth and distance capability of other high-speed transmission technologies, such as Discrete Multitone (DMT) or Single Carrier Modulation (SCM). GFM combines transmission characteristics of telephone cable with technology advancements from other fields such as signal processing and information theory. The result is a more robustly transmitted signal and a unique method for recovering data from received signals that are severely attenuated.
In February 2001, NV Technology reached an important proof-of-concept milestone. NetworkCare Professional Services, a division of Lucent Technologies, verified Cu@OCx’s ability to transfer raw data at a rate of 52 Mbps over 9,000 feet. In contrast, the most renowned and anticipated residential broadband technology today, VDSL, is limited to 52 Mbps at 1,000 feet, or 26 Mbps at 3,500 feet. In its initial demonstrations Cu@OCx has shown the ability to provide access up to 133 times faster than typical DSL service, and up to a 900% distance improvement over competing technologies in the residential marketplace.
As importantly, because Cu@OCx runs over existing copper lines (the DSL Forum estimates 750 million copper lines worldwide), telecommunications providers are spared the expense of laying costly new fiber optic lines in every region it wishes to extend coverage and can increase the offering of convergent services quickly and cost-effectively.
Potential Markets
Multiple telephony market sectors could successfully adopt and benefit from Cu@OCx, including the WAN, MTU, LAN and xDSL markets – and ultimately, consumers. NV Technology is developing core broadband technology and IC-based (silicon) solutions that address specific areas of need within three primary high-speed communications markets:
***** Residential
***** Business class
***** LAN – Local Area Network
NV Technology is currently exploring potential relationships with leading ILECs, CLECs, RBOCs, DLECs, IC manufacturers, and telecom equipment manufacturers to determine the most strategic and profitable options for the growth of the company.

Hi Matt. Regarding the change of Chairman concept. The boards where it hasn't been a problem should be left alone. Why should my board suffer because other chairmans or the people posting there aren't responsible enough to not abuse the system? My board maybe gets 2 to 6 posts a day because most of us are in chat. But we have a real tight knit comunity there. It has been good because people from RB got the message we wouldn't put up with RBs crap. Please consider this.
Fees comment. You said no adds? How are you going to pay for this site? I don't see fees doing it. Am I wrong? Thank you for the grandfather clause if you go to that.
