Below is a portion from Johns Q and A email. The last sentence saying there will come a time that naming a CTO will be appropiate. What does that mean to you? Once a contract is announced? A merger or aquisition? What do you feel will be the lever that gets pulled to make that happen.

JH) There are several different titles that can be given the one who
directs the activities of an engineering project. CTO is one title that
includes being a corporate officer. Our project will not lack for
leadership and there will come a time that naming a CTO will be appropriate.
