Looks like end of year booking in losses,
Lots of this going on this week.
This may be a good time to be buying,
When everything looks like crap.
And like crap it looks… ho, ho, ho.
Interesting snippet from ‘Cramer’ – not that I pay much attention to him, but many people do and he is in the thick of it as well as full of it - ;
in reference to Intel reported “its largest quarter-over-quarter sales increase in 30 years, And that’s without the company [Intel] yet taking advantage of the “Mobile Internet Tsunami,” as he calls it.”
& recent headline from ‘Tech check’ “Wireless Wars Become Frenetic’
-“the chairman of the FCC, sits at the crossroads of some of the most dynamic periods in technological innovation in this country. Wireless is where it's at, -“
GoIP Global, Inc. September 15, 2009
“Ike Sutton, CEO, commented, "- 203 million of the 263 million U.S. wireless subscriber lines paid for text messaging - U.S. mobile subscribers now send and receive more text messages in a month than they make phone calls.”
“A new subsidiary, Go800 LLC, [will] provide a unique patent pending text messaging product to advertisers. Go800 will enable advertisers to connect with this growing market. Revenues will be derived by licensing the product to advertisers. It’s planned for launch in 1st Q 2010 “

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - February 25, 2008)
- Ise Blu Equity Corp. (PINKSHEETS: ISBL) announced today that its One Media One Virtual Media Mall beta site will be available on or about March 14, 2008. "The programmers have advised us that the site is nearing completion for testing and for proof of concept for our investors and shareholders," stated Dr. Dre, ISBL CEO. "We look forward to this launch and the subsequent influx of business and development following the beta test period," he continued.

there you go; 'on or about' March 14th,
that must be like "soon".
Who's on first ?
I don't know.

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - March 13, 2008)
- Ise Blu Equity Corp. (PINKSHEETS: ISBL) announced today that it has received in excess of $1 million in funding for its subsidiary Masters of The Cage (MOTC) to promote its Ultimate Underdog tournament. This funding is a participation agreement that will provide each investor with a return on investment ranging from 35% to 50% of the profit from the events. There is no stock to be issued in any of these agreements.
We expect this tournament will include dates in May to October. We are currently negotiating with each venue for dates.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At least we’re getting some news,
even if it’s much slower than any of us want.
Ok, reality check.
I mention this other company only as a comparison,
No recommendation. I am long ISBL…..
I was on another board and this guy
‘Virok’ comes on and says take a look at ‘SSPE.pk’
So I did and it’s a lot like our ISBL;
a competitor that’s been at it for a few years (?)
and seems to be making progress, but look at the sp, yiks !!
YTD high $ 97.50, today .005. They backed into a shell like we’re going to do.
[SSPE: r/s 1 for 400 11/06 & r/s 1 for 32 3/07 float 15 mm, OS 60 mm per Pinksheets]
I paid .25 sp back when ISBL was Netcert; and got more of course as things evolved. I think we’re past the low point and on our way up, but MMA is no automatic golden egg. It’s a ground floor for sure, and a good (maybe great!) addition for the company. The fight entertainment industry is growing and consolidating, big fish, little fish sort of thing.
The restructuring we are going into changes things around, I hope for the better for shareholders; but it will not produce value to drive the share price, it is still sales and profits that add value. The floors of wall street are littered with good ideas and good intentions; they sweep them up at the end of the day, and our dollars swim into the pockets of the bigger fish.
You can’t get something from nothing; the only thing you can make out of thin air is hot air.
The PR talks about buyouts and rights on into 2009,
I take that to mean they think it will take years to build the company. Unless you’re a flipper, we might as well settle down, settle in, and maybe find a good hobby. I’d rather watch Rihanna or Alicia any day, than watch a fight. And that is definitely just my opinion.
A good read if you feel like it :
OT: This is the news about Madonna referred to in
the Wall Street Reporter interview with our company,
It is NOT anything to do with ISBL,
but it is about the direction of the music industry today,
big names leaving big record companies, to pursue a business plan more like ours,
where the internet is a part of our distribution and connections.
No one is going to want to do business with old record companies that sue people for loving music, just because they can’t figure out how to use the new media matrix.
Music business has always grown on the cutting edge.
Madonna, promoter near $120 million business deal
10/11/2007 8:08 AM, Reuters
Michael Paoletta [ edited for readability ]
Pop star Madonna is close to leaving her long-time Warner Bros. Records label for a wide-ranging $120 million deal with concert promotion firm Live Nation Inc.
The story was in Wall Street Journal's Web site, said Madonna would receive a mix of cash and stock in exchange for allowing Live Nation to distribute three studio albums, promote concert tours, sell merchandise and license her name.
Such a deal is virtually unprecedented, but may become more common as struggling record labels and other players in the music industry seek to shore up revenues by going into business with musical acts, rather than just taking fees for selling their albums or concert tickets.
Live Nation declined comment. Warner confirmed the basic details of the report.
The 49-year-old singer has recorded for the Warner Music Group Corp.-owned label her entire career, stretching back to her 1983 self-titled debut album. She still owes Warner Music a new studio CD and a greatest-hits package.
Live Nation's diversification from promoting concerts to entering complex business partnerships with music stars is a sign of the times in the ailing music industry.
As the traditional recorded-music industry fights a losing battle against Internet piracy and other forms of entertainment, the labels are eyeing other revenue streams, such as artists' touring and merchandising revenues. Ancillary players, such as concert promoters, talent managers and ticketing companies, also are in the hunt for such deals.
Warner Music reportedly sought to retain Madonna with a similar arrangement. In an unusual move, the company partnered with Barry Diller's IAC/InterActiveCorp, the parent of TicketMaster, to try to counter Live Nation's proposal, the Wall Street Journal said. the package includes a general advance of $17.5 million and advance payments for three albums of $50 to $60 million. (Album advances are generally recouped from sales income.)
Live Nation also is expected to pay $50 million in cash and stock for the right to promote Madonna's concert tours. Although she does not tour much, she is a popular draw. She ranked No. 4 on trade publication Pollstar's list of the top acts in 2006, with North American ticket sales of $86 million.
Or, from the horse’s mouth so to speak:
“Ise Blu Equity Corp. (OTC: ISBL) is a development stage company that was originally formed as Net Cert, Inc. , a Colorado corporation in April 2004 to hold the assets of Chinese based financial services company. This business opportunity was not successful. The operations were returned in February 2006. In March 2006 the Company purchased Ise Blu Equity Corp. and subsequently merged with the subsidiary leaving Ise Blu Equity Corp as the survivor. “
I’ve been a share holder for more than two years. I am very optimistic about the latest direction, and that the company will start to concentrate on this one area of business. The on line night club is a great idea; I really enjoy watching music videos on youtube. They claimed 100 million site hits a day; give a lonely girl an umbrella.
I think a problem this company has had is they were all over the place, this kind of business here, that kind over there, and never carrying things through to the point of profit.
Start up’s like this need to concentrate and focus. I think they finally got that.
Play nice, play on.
Tap, tap… is this mike on ???
No one has anything to say for five days now ??
Not even a power tool crack ?......
Well, it could be a great acquisition for the company,
if it goes through. Maybe we could add a line of paint brushes with
jeweled handles, and sell them outside dance concerts.
They should attract the home improvement crowd, right ?
Focus and closure,…. focus and closure,…..
Slightly OT: [ Where the money went –
This is mostly about hacking, but fraud is fraud --Edited to shorten --.]
"By Ellen Nakashima Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, October 24, 2006; Page A01
Hackers have been breaking into customer accounts at large online brokerages in the United States and making unauthorized trades worth millions of dollars as part of a fast-growing new form of online fraud under investigation by federal authorities.
E-Trade Financial Corp., the nation's fourth-largest online broker, said last week that "concerted rings" in Eastern Europe and Thailand caused their customers $18 million in losses in the third quarter alone. Another company, TD Ameritrade, the third-largest online broker, also has suffered losses from customer account fraud, but a spokeswoman declined to quantify the amount.------ Both E-Trade and TD Ameritrade have guaranteed that they will cover their clients' losses, even though they are not required to do so by law. -----More than 10 million people have bought or sold investments online in the United States in the last few months, according to a securities analyst for the Stamford, Conn.-based Gartner Inc.
a spokesman for Charles Schwab Corp., the largest online broker, said losses due to online identity theft and fraud have not reached "a material level" But he added that Schwab also guarantees to reimburse clients for online losses caused by fraud.
Unlike banks, brokerage accounts are not protected by Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and other federal banking rules that ensure consumers get their money back, so the consumer must rely on the company to cover any losses.
"This thing is so widespread and it has such a significant impact on the industry at large . . . that I think you're going to end up seeing structural changes in the industry. "
I’m not going to get into it with them if it can be helped,
They probably have a legal staff larger than the population of my entire town,
and their probably always looking for someone to do.
The issue of court jurisdiction had been brought up yesterday.
I use E’trade ( and E’trade uses me), and I don’t see any office or store front ( there are 13 of them) for them within the state of Oklahoma , and I don’t live there. The electronic account credits that pass for “stock” in this virtual reality were not transacted directly with BCIT, ( they do have an office in that state ?) so it seems tenuous for a Oklahoma court to impose jurisdiction.
E’trade’s customer agreement says it is to be deemed to be made in and under the laws of the state of New York.
I am thinking of adding a statement to my response reserving the right to challenge the jurisdiction of a Oklahoma County Court at some point in the future. Of course if this were a federal court there would be no issue here.
Well reasoned responses would be welcome.
My hunch would be that today’s price movement was just some group making a p & d play using our company, and it had nothing to do directly with the companies activity or lack of activity. The rise then rapid fall in pps does not really look like leaked news.
May have been a spam pump. Don’t know.
If you look at Taz51’s post at # 5773, and a few before, he pointed out that the sale for two 10,000 units could have been with a second company that it looks like Norman controls. The pr doesn’t state that it’s the same event, but the time and amounts match.
Maybe this is the reason for the excitement ? :
"GEMTEX DECOR IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE WE WILL SOON BE CARRYING NEW...WOW...COLORS AND TEXTURES.VIBRAINT...MODERN...PLAYFUL.
Taz51, a question if you will ?
In your last post you said ,isbl sells brfg some fibredecor.
Was this the sale PR’ed by ISBl on 1.5.07 ?
Record braking bidding for oil blocks in Angola.
“Earlier this year Angola achieved three notable world records in rapid succession, the bidding round, organised by Sonangol, the Angolan national oil giant, resulted in a world record signature bonus of $700 million being paid for a block. This record was quickly broken, by signature bonus payments of $1.1 billion each for two other blocks by two different oil companies.
“Angola is now a globally important oil patch and forms part of the golden triangle for the ultra deep water oil industry, which extends from Brazil to Angola and then on to the Gulf of Mexico.
Most of the oil in Angola has been discovered in the last eight years and most of it has been discovered in ultra deep waters – generally on the edge of the continental shelf under about two kilometers of ocean”
Angola has become one of the fastest growing economies on the planet with annual GDP growth rate percentages currently in the mid to late twenties, according to Paul de Sousa, senior partner of KPMG in Angola.
Cumulative official direct foreign investment into Angola for the period 2002 – 2004 was $7.2 billion, Nigeria achieved $6.3 billion, and South Africa was just over $2 billion.
The letter says the stock was delisted because they could not file needed financial statements. They intend to refile for listing, as they got the needed information very recently. It may take 60 days after they refile to get relisted.
This is all my own understanding of what it says. This looks like an opportunity to restructure the two companies into one stock, because I don’t think SSTY can ever get complete paper work from prior management, and that’s why it’s still on the gray market. But I really don’t know.
This looks to me like it was probably not planned, but it’s not the end of the world, just more paper work; more time.
Home Depot poised for China entry Thursday October 12, 9:58 pm ET
LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. retailer Home Depot Inc.is understood to be poised to enter China thanks to a tie-up with Chinese chain HomeWay worth about $148.6 million, the Times newspaper reported on Friday.
The deal still requires regulatory clearance from the Chinese authorities, the newspaper said. HomeWay, established 10 years ago by Du Shia, a Chinese entrepreneur, has 14 stores in northern China.
Du was understood to be leading the negotiations with Home Depot and planned to use the funds from any deal to expand his chain, the newspaper added. Home Depot is due to form part of a U.S. delegation that plans to head to Beijing and Shanghai from November 13-17 with Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez.
Winter heating bills are expected to be slightly lower for most families.
Families using natural gas should expect to pay a decrease of 13 percent, the Energy Department said. Those heating their homes with fuel oil will pay an increase of 6 percent. The department said that propane users can expect a drop of 1 percent.
Natural gas is the most widely used source of fuel for residential heating in the nation, especially in the Midwest. Fuel oil is used heavily in the Northeast. Last year, the warmest January on record reduced demand and helped temper some of the expenses for consumers.
The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration projected Tuesday that most of the country will see above-normal winter temperatures, though slightly cooler than last year's very warm winter."December is really a wild card right now but we have increasing confidence that it will get warmer as the season goes along. [???] said Michael Halpert, lead forecaster at the NOAA Climate Prediction Center. NOAA said Maine, to Texas have equal chances of warmer, cooler and near-normal temperatures this winter. ~~~[IE: they have no clue…. Can I get paid to make a prediction like that !?!]
Homes that use natural gas are expected to see their heating costs average $826 this winter, up from $465 in 2001-2002. Homes using fuel oil are expected to pay $1,522 this winter, an increase from $627 in 2001-02.. Propane users should pay $1,265 this winter, compared with $736 in 2001-02.
Natural gas prices have dropped recently and natural gas storage is at an all-time high. The AGA said Monday that "the industry has repaired much of the damage to its infrastructure and wholesale prices are lower, but the weather is the wild card."
Major gas pipeline project canceled
Monday October 9, 1:06 pm ET
A major pipeline proposed to carry Rocky Mountain natural gas to customers in the eastern and southern United States is "unlikely to continue" after operators in the Barnett Shale basin in northeastern Texas declined to support the project, an El Paso Corp. spokesman said Monday.
The pipeline, called the "Continental Connector," was a 700-mile pipeline proposal to carry natural gas from Kansas to Louisiana that Houston-based El Paso (NYSE: EP - News) announced about a year ago. Existing pipelines from Wyoming to Kansas and from Louisiana to southeastern customers would be upgraded and expanded to handle more gas.
But operators in the Barnett Shale region of northeastern Texas told El Paso they planned to sign commitments with a competing pipeline project, El Paso spokesman Bruce Connery said.
As a result, the project "is unlikely to move forward," Connery said.
That leaves the Rockies Express pipeline standing alone. The pipeline is a $4.4 billion, 1,663-mile project backed by Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP of Houston, San Diego's Sempra Pipelines & Storage and ConocoPhillips, also of Houston. The pipeline is planned to carry up to 2 billion cubic feet of natural gas a day from northern Weld County to eastern Ohio.
Federal regulators have given preliminary approval to the western portion of the pipeline, from Colorado to Missouri, and a formal application for the eastern route -- from Missouri to Ohio -- is expected to be filed in April 2007.
