Kmart opens new stores under Sears name
Thursday, December 2, 8:35 am ET
Troy, MI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 2004—Kmart Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: KMRT) Announces that it will be re-opening it’s Kmart and Big Kmart stores with the new Sears name attached to them. The move to capitalize on the Sears name could be the extra push the defunct Kmart needs according to investors. Investor confidence in the new Kmart is reflected in the rapidly increasing share price of Kmart as it continues to rise since the merger was announced. In a surprise move Kmart also announced an upcoming deal with international merchandiser SPAR Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SGRP) to assist in the opening of the new Sears branded Kmart stores. SPAR Group Inc. (SGRP) plans on releasing results of the planned openings next week and is showing very positive and promising numbers. Planned openings of more Sears store locations could push Kmart into the second largest chain narrowing the gap between the number one spot holder Walmart (NYSE: WMT).
Excellent DD on SGRP mate..stock looks hot and profitable :)
SGRP up 53 cents on $29 million contract news, and still moving, nice :)
SGRP looks very strong, might just buy some today.
CNES hitting new highs yesterday, damn missed it
DWMA: breakout in process!
DWMA: I heard they had a major multimillion dollar contract with the coast gaurd in the pipeline. Since instituitions are buying, I would assume something fell through. Looks like a good play to me.
ive noticed some really great picks by rjacob ... let us know what ur playing next time. may i email you at rjacob_trader@yahoo.com ?
EPMN: bid just moved up to 1.50, vol 160,000 + .
EPNM surpassing 3 times its daily volume, heightened investor interest continues.
bought some EPNM based on excellent fundamentals and likely instituitonal buying.
ISON: that was the best pick you seem to have ever made. Just keeps rollin upwards, day after day. Congratulations.
UVCL: upticking seems headed up for a good run
UVCL 5 mill volume already, 12% gain..seems set for a pretty nice run
UVCL: DD's this: no dilution, starting to bounce from a low price, good chance of a reversal run.
TNGO: Played it before, great when it runs. I think this will be a post dilution play once they'r finished adding shares to the market.(Pre 14A filed in june)
ARES: trying to figure out why the dip
UVCL: Came up on chart scan, still to finish DD on this.
DRDF: came up on a scan, but i haven't checked for dilution
hey janet, sorry for the delayed reply, yes i traded it and it was good for me :)
yep, watching DRKD for the pop, no position yet, but watching it preciously :)
NP janet, yes nowadays you must believe in the quick play policy, market is overall pretty slow, so im all about short term trades.
as for OMOG and DRKD, i feel DRKD is at the bottom, and OMOG is already had a ride or is in its ride. Both are decent stocks, but if i had to pick one, it would be DRKD, providied of course, DRKD kicks itself into a ride tomorrow or later this week. I'll be watching it.
DRKD: at the ground floor, can only go up, watch for a run this week because S8 is over.
OMOG chart:
DRKD: another nominee for a bounce IMO. It's at the ground level, easy mover and ready for a bounce. billy if you could post your charts on this, it will be appreciated. TIA
looks intereesting billy, better to play stocks at ground levels nowadays, at least until summer is over.
PS: did you know that this board probably has the most content in board info section on ihub. :))) I admire your hard work, keep it up :)
PS: ITCV moves like a beeyach and has had some amazing runs once it hits a low between 0.01 and 0.02, check the chart below....i can believe the float to be 22 million and think its a good idea to accumulate at its current low price.Any comments?
ITCV: my experience with yahoo says they can be wrong when it comes to float, only because they dont update their data. It's happened before, for eg with ARES; yahoo claims float to be 9.8 mill, but that was the original float when the company came onto the market, now float is currently much much higher, and ARES is a sub penny.
For ITCV I got the float by calling them, you can check if you want with them. Its approx 22 million, Outsanding shares 58 mill not that it matters.
ITCV: pure bottom reversal play, may have a run real soon.
only 22 million in float, can be played well.
OHNA: Looks like a hit for this week. The chart is poised for a nice run: MACD still reaching for the zero line, indicating plenty of room for the stock to move up, the price is hoevering near the upper bollinger and the Wilders is around 30, indicating a strong trend. Overall trend is upwards, as can be seen from the past few days. As far as I know, the cancellation of their merger/dilution is causing this price movement upwards, and the upwards movement is causing attetnion, there is plenty of talk all around the place about this stock. Any comments?
there's 3 thing i really liked here today: first happy hour, i read this board faithfully but never post coz I'm not premium, secondly the fact that DFRC looks positive not only to me but others too, and thirdly, your quote on your profile is really good and true!
ITDJ: interesting observaton Art. It's little things like these that usually hold the story and matter a lot.
DFRC post s8 play i think. Certainly loooks good. I hold a smallposition over the weekend. Hope it kicks :)
ATNG: any opinions anybody, good accumulation point right now IMO
OHNA: chart looks really nice to me. Started some smooth movement upwards today, and from the chart it definetely looks like its gonna go into a run this week. MACD is below the zero line but heading up, with some divergence. Bollinger bands are not far from the current price, I read the bollinger to be at 0.033 or thereabouts, which is the breakout point. PVO = 20. It certainly qualifies technically, will get more DD on this over the weekend, and see what the deal is. Comments/DD/info appreciated.

MBAH 0.042 x 0.043 holding well, slight dip here, but overall doing good.
CYOS: up 22% real time, this one's an easy mover
