Apology accepted - no worries. I'm challenged by "the likes of" me as well. I appreciate your experienced perspective. Thx.
You're misjudging me friend. I was just looking for some consolation on a distressing day from one whose voice I've come to respect. All the best.
Care to elaborate and take us on a wee trip down memory lane re: Rosen et.al.?
Chuck - you've expressed my perspective well. Thx

Form 10-Q, (also known as a 10-Q or 10Q) is a quarterly report mandated by the United States federal Securities and Exchange Commission, to be filed by publicly traded corporations.
Pursuant to Section 13 or 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, it's an SEC filing that must be filed quarterly with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. It contains similar information to the annual form 10-K, however the information is generally less detailed, and the financial statements are generally unaudited. Information for the final quarter of a firm's fiscal year is included in the 10-K, so only three 10-Q filings are made each year.
These reports generally compare last quarter to the current quarter and last year's quarter to this year's quarter. The SEC put this form in place to facilitate better informed investors. The form 10-Q must be filed within 40 days for large accelerated filers and accelerated filers or 45 days after the end of the fiscal quarter for all other registrants (formerly 45 days)

Phib - take a look at Cellceutix - CTIX. They've got three drugs leading a pipeline of other promising drugs. The three are Prurisol for psoriasis; Brilacidin a new platform antibiotic; and the potential life-changer Kevetrin an oncology drug which has the potential to revolutionize cancer treatments over a broad spectrum of cancers. Check out the "stickies" in iHub. There are experienced and knowledgeable posters there. Of course see the webpage for Cellceutix. On Tuesday CTIX is presenting at the Rodman and Renshaw international investment conference in Boston and many are expecting some exciting news to be given. It could be an opportune time to jump on board. I've been in CTIX for over a year and have high hopes they have drugs pending for ALS, autism and a couple three other significant needs. Anyway, I encourage you and all others to check them out.
Thanks Doug. That cut and paste involved some work on your part - appreciate it. Helpful article. Thanks again.
Doug - not being a member of stockguru, I couldn't read the entire article. Being too cheap to pay to become a member, I was wondering if you could copy and paste the entire article for us to read. If so - tia.
I had wondered if that was the case. Indeed - vanity of vanities, unless there is a cure for death, which, thankfully there is. Meanwhile... Go CTIX!
Which reminds me... What happened to Bioman? He had quite the persona here. I missed his departure from the board and on occasion wondered about him. Just curious...
While you watch that pot boil... I'm a new bubble in the water. Just a little bubble, but hoping that this thing now starts steaming. Let me be the first to welcome myself on board.
So's India
Ovid & Cabel - didn't Leo say "overseas" not "Europe" specifically or am I mistaken?
TOB - I've read your previous posts with appreciation and thank you for your response. I did consider those "facts" you mentioned but was unaware of the compromised credibility of the article/writer that I referenced. Thanks again for your response.
Somebody wanna give perspective on this along with the SA article?!

Thx to you 2 VIP. I'm up and running.
Ziggy
Thx! I went into the settings and got the thing to work. Thank so much for your help.
Wild - I uploaded the ios7 on my iPhone and now the iHub app won't allow me to login. Just a "glitch" I guess. I'm sure it'll get resolved along with the other "glithches" we've been hearing about. Meanwhile may Leo proceed and ever be glitch-free.
Dane - from one fuddy to another duddy, I agree. The layout is way too cluttered. The older format was better. But, we'll adjust - again.
TP and other such competent posters… thanks for your DD and insightful reflections. I am in your debt – well… not actually, that is in a financial kinda way, but in a pseudonymous virtual reality kinda way. So, really – thanks.
I Need (ah...Give) Help - if this “What We know” and “What I Think” is about to turn into a daily column, I’ll subscribe. Very helpful.
Mac – thanks for your helpful analogy with the forward stock split and the encouraging perspective on the prospective market response to the acquisition of Polymedix. Leo certainly sounds upbeat as we continue down the road toward the awaited material events with B, R & K. I’m encouraged as well to hear of our sizable Kahoona’s contentment with our business plan for financing. The interaction on the board lately had turned a tad somber, so today’s PR and the optimistic views of your own self and others like you has me feeling a bit a the alright. Thanks.
I Need - you need to change your moniker to "I Give Help." I appreciate your cogitations and prognostications... which is to say, Thanks for your help.
Petemantx
Your promising prognostications portend of perpetual prosperity – personally, I plan to persevere too pal.
Chazz - thanks. Those slides were very instructive, even if I couldn't understand or explain all of it. Those slides plus the Foxnews story plus what damnthe, BK and others are saying encourages me to think that our boy "B" could meet an urgent and extensive need which can only translate into elevated PPS.
Will Brilacidin help meet these some of needs?

I agree with the Big K, y'all. As Jackson Browne counsels..
Hold on hold out,
Keep a hold on strong,
The money's in the bets are down
You won't hold out long.
They say you'll fall
In no time at all
But you know they're wrong
You've known it all along...
Let's not agitate - just hold on and wait.
It'll happen when it's supposed to happen.
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn.
Being a Boomer's for the Byrds, eh?
Thx. Yes - same PR but nice venue!
Any possibility of you cutting and pasting that WSJ article for those of us who don't subscribe and can't access the article?
I just cast my vote on the Fierce15 as well.
Gee G Bert - my hopes exactly. I vote licensing - one product at a time over the next several years - just to fund a modest retirement as well as funding some noble causes.
Once again Pete - thanks. I'll watch and learn. Your helpful answers to my questions encourages me to make futher inquiries of you and the other more experienced folk on this board. Much appreciated.
Even & Pete: so are you saying that were we to get bought out that Kard Scientific would still continue to produce Menon’s Magic and that we would then have the opportunity to invest in Menon thru Kard? I’m not going to refuse a possible Pfizer windfall, should that occur within the next several months, but my preference would be the licensing or full pharma company options as I see those leading to longer-term investment and profit. It seems that we'd be disconnected from Menon's Magic were CTIX assimilated into the immensity of Pfizer or some other huge pharma. How could Kard play into things were Cellceutix to be bought out?
I previously asked re: a buyout and received a helpful answer from Pete. Upon further consideration (and I understand that we shareholders have nothing to do with this), wouldn't it be more lucrative for us in the long-term were CTIX to enter into licensing agreements which allowed Kevetrin to be used in various applications while we retained ownership of the stock and thus obtain a long-term income revenue? Obviously, I'm long. Is my thinking on this skewed?
Pete - thanks for your considered response. It took a while to think thru all that and to write it down in an orderly manner and I apprectiate the clarity of your input.
Thanks Sox.
I’d like to stay harnessed to what Menon will do, but if that’s the way things work, I certainly won’t complain. I’d just continue investing in Menon/CTIX via Pfizer – assuming that’s what ensues. I appreciate your help.
I have a couple-three questions for some of you more experienced investors, if you will. I’m not experienced, so don’t be surprised if my questions sound naïve – they are. I got into CTIX early in March having been encouraged by a friend and after doing some DD which encouraged me. I’ve been enjoying reading this board and I continue to learn from all y’all’s interaction. I’m not only excited about the prospects of Kevetrin and Prurisol but I’m also interested to see if Dr. Menon’s genius could treat autism and whatever other diseases he has targeted in his sights. It seems to me that CTIX is a stock to be held for the next several years, assuming that good things continue to happen.
Question: those whose voices sound to me to be knowledgeable anticipate the likelihood of a buyout. If that occurs, how does that impact the shareholder? Does a buy-out usually trigger a stock split? How is that windfall garnered? If we’re bought-out by say, Pfizer, will we end up holding equivalent Pfizer shares instead of CTIX? I’d benefit from a look at the map of what could lie ahead and from any possible strategies you’re considering should the company decide to move one way or the other.
Here's something related to our interests. Things are percolating in the fight against cancer.

Can one of y'all who're more experienced speculate about what would have to happen for the stock to split. If it were to split, what would occasion that? What would the split ratio likely be? Somebody talk to me about the possibility for a split. Seein's how's this is my last allotted post for the day, please make it clear, cause if I don't get your answer, I can't ask you to clarify anything. Several comments on this subject would interest me. Thanks muchly so.
