Finally make some $. Sold half @4.8, holding another half for tomorrow. :)
Thanks again. Just found out the explanation of ITM on this website
http://www.optiontradingpedia.com/in_the_money_options.htm
Hmmm... still have a lot of things to learn...
Thank you langlui. That explains it. It is not easy to play option trading. No wonder I've already lost 80% of my principal in the last three months. lol
Sorry, I bought it @$3.2 but now it is trading @$2.7
Newbie question
I bought GS April $160 Put(GPYPL) @0.32 two days ago when it was trading @$180. But GS drops to $175 now, how come that option is trading even lower @$0.27? I know the option price drops progressively as time goes by, but it shouldn't be that fast. Could anyone explain this to me? Is there anything to do with the volatility? Can it be predicted?
Thanks!
TD Ameritrade sucks!
I setup a trade trigger(SMH bid equals to or less than $28.4) to sell(close) my put contracts two days ago. But it wasn't triggered today when SMH was trading @$28.39 this morning. Then I found out I was still holding all those put contracts, so I placed another sell order to sell it when SMH was trading at $28.85. However, the quote from TD for SMH option was wrong for the whole day. I sent an email to TD and got 2 replies:

Date: 03/14/2008
RE: Your account ending in XXXX
The market condition you specified in the below trigger has been met.
Date trigger was set: 03/12/2008
Trigger condition:
Symbol: SMH
Condition: Bid
Operator: Less than or equal to
Operator value: 28.4
Occurred at time: 14:31:30 EDT
However, the associated MARKET order has NOT been placed due to the following error:
The order is not a closing transaction. It will create a new option position or increase an existing option position.

Thank you for your email. We are showing that you already sold your SMH-PB contracts with order number XXXXXXXXXX. Because you were not holding any contracts of SMH-PB when the trigger was fired, the order was rejected.
Our technology support department is aware of the quote issue and we are working with our quote provider to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. I apologize for the nconvenience.
Wonderbuy, thanks. eom
New to option trading(question)
Hi everyone,
I have another question to ask. I bought 3 contracts of CMI Dec 95 PUT few weeks ago at $1.8 which will be expired this friday. Now the contracts are worthless. The contracts are trading at 0.1/0.05, and the shares are trading at 117/115. So what should I do with those contracts?
a)Can I/Should I just let those contracts expired without doing anything? Will the contracts be gone automatically from my account on the next day of the expiration day? Is there any penalty for this action? (Just lose the principal)
b)Should I spend another transaction fee to sell those contracts before/on the expiration day?(lost principal + transaction fee)
c)Should I exercise those contracts? (lost the principal + the difference between the current trading price and the $95 strike price? I don't think so, right?)
I really appreciate your help.

goodfoot, thanks! eom
langlui,
Thanks for your response. Glad I don't have that amount of money in my account, otherwise ...lol. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving.

New to option trading(question)
I never trade option before, just learning. I have a little over $10k in my tdameritrade account(margin, & long option trading). I tried to place a put order for PCLN(PUZXR 90 Put) today, but the TD's online trading system rejected me with the following message:
"Your order was not accepted. Funds are not available for this transaction of non-marginable security."
I contacted TD, and this is the email they replied.
"Thank you for your email. I am showing that you are entering an order to purchase 288 contracts of +PUZXR at 1.80 per contract. In order to place this trade, you would need $51,840 in available funds for the trade and $221.00 for commission charges."
But I thought I should only pay $518 for the contracts, and $20 for the commission. Is this right?
Any help will be appricated.

Zero bid end of the week? lol
Don't worry. With a smart CEO like this, we may see another zero bid stock here by the end of month. lol
Looks like this CEO will probably raise the AS to 9 billions soon. lol
Have you ever asked how much his salary is? Which five-star hotel he stays in for business trips? What deluxy company car he is driving? Which fancy restaurant he ususally goes to? lol
Well done, Jeff. As we all know, you were born for this.
"The people at Global Vision would like to be in a public company so as to be able to raise larger amounts of money down the road"
means more CD to me. IMO
Will we see 0001/0002 by the end of THIS month? Jeff is such a genius! Go Jeff Go!!!
I believe we will see a rs here in 2 months. No one even wants the share @0008 now. As we all know, Flannery knows nothing about finance except dilution and RS. He doesn't care about the pps and the shareholders. May see 0001/0002 by the end of next month, just like what ADNL did. IMHO
Looks like Flannery hasn't changed a bit. lol
Thanks for sharing the email. Couldn't resist the price and bought in yesterday.
But Jeff looks like a typical ceo for a pink-sheet company(99% of them can't be trusted). He said CTXI still had $150K in noteholders left over, and he issued 75MM shares to take care of that about 3 weeks ago. And now he said there are another three noteholders left(even though two of them are holding off on converting). Hopefully these are all the noteholders left.
ballyhooo,
Did you notice that the new S8 filling on 11/9 disappered on the pinksheets or edgar sites? Any idea?
(Sorry, I was not supposed to post on this forum again, but I can't send a pm.)
This is my last post on this forum. Sold all my position yesterday once I saw the new s8 filed. Can't believe I lost over $10k on this stock. Good luck to everyone still holding this stock, hope you guys can still make money here. Just a word of warning, the new s8 shares may hit the market as early as next tuesday due to the 3-days rule.
We may see another form 4 filed by Robert few days later about dumping another 20mm shares in these two weeks. imho
The shares from last S8 130MM should be sold out completely with the volume like last month, and this month. Anyone konws if there is any CD converting right now?
But this stock is really manipulated by the MMs. I bought more @0049 at ask last week, it took couple hours to fill it. It was becasue the MMs raised the ask everytime I placed the order, and didn't fill my order until the end of day.
Does this guy look familiar? How come ROBERTS TIMOTHY can still be a director of boards?

Infinium CEO Charged With Stock Fraud
Pump and dump
Posted on 2006-05-16 17:16:26 by Niarlan
When Hard-OCP ran a critical column about the "Phantom" broadband gaming console back in 2003, the company sued the website, and lost. The story at the time noted that former CEO Timothy Roberts had a history of business failure and that the company looked shakey at best. Hard-OCP was right: Infinium Labs collected an estimated $62.7 million over 3 years from investors, blowing through all of it without ever launching a single functional product.
Now CNN is reporting that Roberts is being charged by the SEC with a pump-and-dump stock scheme. Roberts sent junk-faxes to thousands of investors lauding the console's imminent launch, while privately making $422,500 from selling stock. The first Broadband Reports user comment the first time we ever mentioned the product? "Looks like smoke and mirrors to me."
Greg Koler interviewed by webpronews.com
I agree. I bought another 1.5mm shares today. But "Roberts"looks like a trader more than a director of the company.
Another form 4 filed today.
What's wrong with that ROBERTS guy? He dumped a million for couple grand? Does he has anything to do? lol
thanks a lot! eom
Yes. eom
bb, do you know the link for PHEI on ihub? I could not find it. thx
Is the management buying back 10 shares while they are dumping 5mm shares? lol
I got it. Thx! eom
But from the chart above (in the ibox), this stock never traded at .80. Did I miss something? Please correct me if I'm wrong. thx
This company did a 10:1 F/S on 9/27. Could anyone tell me how come the pps did not drop on that day? tia
I'd rather to hear from the management when the dilution will stop? And how many more shares will be dumped to max out the A/S? Are they planing to have a R/S in near future(anyway they must say "NO R/S")?
I won't be surprised to see a R/S here in the near future after they finish selling the rest of those F/S shares. gl
Are you sure all those shares for aquisitions are restricted? If so, how come the float has been increased to 3 billions? I really doubt it.
