No - they will announce when they will announce earnings. They have not yet made the Q3 announcement. Probably wrapping up something first.
Also has a lot of room to go up.
Trump Media auditor charged by SEC with ‘massive fraud,’ permanently barred from public company audits
Who isnt shorting this?
Id prefer a 10B buyout by end of next week.
Well I think one needs to to separate the concept of climate from environmental. I work in the space and hear the terms used interchangeably. Its like referring to finance when you’re really talking about tax. The other thing to think about is externalities. There are always going to externalities associated with capitalism. For EV batteries, these are the same externalities as the computer and consumer electronics industries. If we are to focus on climate, then the emphasis carbon releases associated with energy and finding a better way than the current methods. Electrification reduces the demand for hydrocarbons and enables clean energy on the grid - solar, wind, hydro, geo, biomass, nuclear, tidal. Its not the end game, but a step in a direction that enables a transition in one of the top 4 sectors responsible for a large portion of emissions.
This could go the way of Hertz. They have a solid customer base and strong profitability outside of the Bay area. Just need that debt off their back.
Anyone catch that Genetech is starting to air commercials since they are losing share?
For the same rationale, I’d be short cell phones and microwave ovens.
No. The environmental impact is the same regardless as to who is claiming what.
Now a lot of these companies are members of the responsible business alliance that has a cascading impact down the supply chain - which is helping. Auto manufacturers included.
Besides, all these electronics manufacturers will be happy to tell you how they are saving the world. Microsoft is going to be carbon negative and water positive! Don’t get me started on Amazon climate pledge friendly products.
So they are selling product with an intention. Its marketing and it crosses all industries.
There is a large population that wants to feel good about their consumption.
Again, this is why I laugh when I read about someone calling foul due to environmental impacts of batteries/EVs, when its no different than any other supply chain out there. You cant hang your hat on one industry/market segment, but then be ok with them all. Its kind of hypocritical.
I get where you’re coming from, but the reality is the production and waste streams are the same for all lithium battery powered devices. It all funnels into the same supply chains. Like rubber for sneakers. So, if you knock one battery powered device, you gotta knock them all - phones, computers, tablets, basically all IOT.
So now, we talk about just batteries. Never mind the other components and how that stacks up against conventional IBE - which is an ore extraction and smelting energy hog. So, a true comparison would be an LCA - not the narrow view of the global supply chain cherry picked by a “sustainability enthusiast”
Ha! Its always amusing to read folks try to talk about environmental issues, when clearly they aren’t a professional in the space.
Whens the buyout..?
Little chicken says “the sky is falling”
I guess its taken 13 years to get to worthless.
Well a new phone thats really not worth buying because its not that much better than the last 2 releases?
Markets stalled. Everything is coming down until economic data on wed. That data will determine direction. NKLA ran too high too fast. 7 is a good pause with no catalyst.
Sorry, 300-500
They reaffirmed guidance for 500-600 tre’s for 2022
Wouldn’t the RMO shares get converted at NKLA at a ratio. like 1 NKLA for every 7 RMO? At the trading price when the deal closes?
Shares of the Chinese ride-hailing giant surged 35.2% after The Wall Street Journal reported regulators are concluding investigations into the company. The Journal reported that authorities would lift a ban on Didi adding new users as early as next week and reinstate the company’s app in domestic app stores. Didi has been one of the worst-hit companies by Beijing’s regulatory tightening and has been the subject of a cybersecurity probe since days after its U.S. IPO.
So…. Whens that buyout?
What?
Diversification of portfolio.
Come on buyout!
Dual listing is the more likely scenario
Bidding back at $9.60
Your better off selling a kidney - you’ll get a better return.
In Soviet Russia, SPAC trades you.
Exactly - thats a huge cost, over this valuation
If its anything like parler, it will get shut down.
Anyone know the post merger share structure?
Yah, i cleared out at 1:30. Maybe they have to go pick their kid up from school?
This is a trade, not an investment.
Over 3M in vol on investor day.
Looks like Job #1 is securing funding.
I would add that the new CEO did not make any expectation on production. He’s only been in the job a month. Hell the vehicles aren’t even certified by NTSB… I wouldn’t hold my breath on a production announcement.
Hold on tight!
