no sh#($)...What's the freakin point!?!?! If a couple is officialy a 'civil union" will that 'union' get recognized everywhere? Will there be new tax laws governing civil unions specifically or will our tax forms now have a check box for 'civil union' along with married or single? Can you file 'civil union filing seperate' or 'civil union filing jointly'? sheeeeeh...
it's a freakin duck.
Ok...I'm not pissed off anymore (ok..except about the part about the past 4 years...LOLOL).
dave
yeah..I've been watching it all morning. Text-book market-maker BS :)
I don't have a big sell order in at .0037..just enough to get 100% return on my initial investment. We'll see if the promised PR for this week really happens, and if so, where it pops to.
It's all about taking some free $ :>)
hard to get a sell filled at .0037..been trying to take a little profit all am.
true,, and good points as well.
but also remember...NTI is really nothing but one of many satellite uplink services companies. It doesn't do anyone any good to stick a signal up on the bird if no one(Comcast, Direct TV, Dish, etc...) wants to DOWNLOAD it and offer it to their customers.
a simple Google search brings up LOTS of other companies like NTI...
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=satellite+uplink+company
ANYONE with $$ and a video tape can get a signal UP to the bird :)
Stock buyback question....
can someone tell me why QBID didn't do the stock buyback when it was at .0001-.0005?? Why isn't it happening now while the price is STILL stupidly low? Seems to me that if I knew I wanted to buy back a few zillion shares, I would have done it a while back when it was really, really cheap...
just wondering..
Civil unions for gays favored, polls show
Same-sex marriage debate increases support for such recognition
MSNBC
Updated: 9:56 a.m. ET March 10, 2004
The heated debate over gay marriage is strengthening public support for legalizing civil unions for same-sex couples, with a majority of Americans now in favor of such formal recognition, according to two polls released Wednesday.
Reflecting what appears to be a search for middle ground on the issue, both the Washington Post-ABC News poll and the USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll showed a significant shift in public opinion on civil unions in recent months.
The latter survey found 54 percent of respondents favor civil unions for gay and lesbian couples, with 42 percent opposing them. In a poll conducted in July by the same organizations, 57 percent opposed civil unions and 40 percent favored them.
The Washington Post-ABC News poll found that 51 percent of respondents favor allowing same-sex couples to enter into civil unions with the same basic legal rights as married couples, up 6 percentage points in less than a month.
But both surveys also reflected deep divisions on same-sex marriage.
The Post-ABC News survey found that 59 percent of Americans oppose gay marriage – up 4 percentage points from February. But the same poll found that 53 percent take issue with President Bush’s call for a constitutional amendment outlawing the full legal recognition of same-sex couples.
Instead, the poll found that a slim majority – 53 percent – favors allowing the states to determine whether to issue same-sex wedding license.
The margin of error of the survey of 1,202 randomly selected adults, which was conducted March 4-7, was plus or minus 3 percentage points.
The USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll found a slight softening of opposition to gay marriages, with 61 percent rejecting such unions, down 3 percent from a survey three weeks earlier.
It also indicated that support for a constitutional ban was weakening slightly, with 50 percent supporting that approach, compared to 53 percent in the February survey. Opposition to a constitutional amendment inched higher over the period, rising from 44 percent to 45 percent, according to the survey.
At the same time, the poll found that nearly two-thirds of Americans say that local officials should be forced to stop issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, according to the survey of 1,005 Americans conducted March 5-7. The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent on most questions.
Debate over the issue has moved to the forefront in the months since the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled in November that gay marriage would become legal in the state on May 17.
Local officials in California, Oregon, New York and New Jersey have added to the controversy by issuing marriage licenses to gay couples, in many cases in defiance of state laws banning such unions.
Bush said last month that he supports a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, injecting the matter squarely into the presidential race.
Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has said he is opposed to gay marriage but favors allowing states to determine their own course.

Gay GOP group challenges Bush on marriage
Log Cabin Republicans to air TV ad in D.C., seven states
By Howard Kurtz
Updated: 12:31 a.m. ET March 10, 2004
In a dramatic break with President Bush, a prominent group of gay Republicans that supported him four years ago is launching a $1 million advertising campaign today attacking the administration for trying to ban same-sex marriage.
advertisementThe ad, by the Log Cabin Republicans, uses grainy footage of Vice President Cheney saying during the 2000 campaign that the matter should be left to the states.
Bush's decision to endorse a constitutional amendment barring same-sex marriage was "the line in the sand" for the 27-year-old group, which has never run a campaign ad, said Executive Director Patrick Guerriero. He said he had warned the White House as Bush edged toward supporting an amendment that "despite our historic loyalty to the party and the president, we would be forced to speak out if gay and lesbian families were going to be used as wedge issues in swing states."
• More politics newsThe group's move, which shatters the fragile alliance between the president and his strongest backers in the gay community, could undermine efforts to renew the "compassionate conservative" appeal he used four years ago.
The ad shows Cheney in the 2000 vice presidential debate, saying of gay marriage: "People should be free to enter into any kind of relationship they want to enter into. . . . That matter is regulated by the states. I think different states are likely to come to different conclusions, and that's appropriate. I don't think there should necessarily be a federal policy in this area."
'Don't Amend the Constitution'
The on-screen tag line says: "We Agree. Don't Amend the Constitution."
Cheney ducked questions about his earlier stance in television interviews last week, telling CNN: "I support the president. . . . He sets policy for the administration." Cheney's office declined to comment.
‘ ... despite our historic loyalty to the party and the president, we would be forced to speak out if gay and lesbian families were going to be used as wedge issues in swing states.’
— patrick guerriero
Log Cabin RepublicansThe 30-second spot likens the gay marriage effort to the civil rights movement, showing a protest scene from the 1960s and a sign that says "Colored Waiting Room."
Bush campaign spokesman Terry Holt said: "We respect differences of opinion in the Republican Party, and we feel that during this election the Republicans will unite behind the president on the big issues facing this country -- the war on terror and growing the economy."
The Log Cabin group, which claims more than 10,000 members, is the largest gay organization in the Republican Party. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) kicked off its convention last year, and top administration officials provided a briefing at this year's gathering. The group's chapters around the country often work with local elected officials.
Asked whether the group could still support Bush, Guerriero said the president had "jeopardized that endorsement" by "the hypocrisy of using this in an election year." He said that his organization had received hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations in the last two weeks and that the ad campaign could be expanded if fundraising continues to surge.
For conservatives, another view
Religious conservatives view the controversy very differently.
"The alternative -- for the president to have offered no solution while some out-of-control judges and mayors were trying to remake one of the most fundamental institutions of our society -- would have been a political disaster of the highest order," said Gary Bauer, who ran against Bush in 2000 and now heads the conservative think tank American Values. "I find it incomprehensible that any Republican, Log Cabin or otherwise, would conclude the president could be agnostic on an issue so fundamental." Bauer said Bush's stance would also help him with "culturally conservative" swing voters.
‘I find it incomprehensible that any Republican, Log Cabin or otherwise, would conclude the president could be agnostic on an issue so fundamental.’
— GARY BAUER
American Values think tankThe Log Cabin ad will run on cable and local stations in the District and in seven swing states: Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio and Wisconsin. The ad makes no mention of Cheney's daughter Mary, a lesbian who is working on his reelection campaign, and Guerriero said she should not be dragged into the debate.
Bush called for a constitutional amendment on Feb. 24 after Massachusetts's highest court legalized same-sex marriage and San Francisco's mayor defied state law by allowing marriage licenses for thousands of gay couples.
Recent polls have shown a majority of Americans opposing same-sex marriage and supporting a constitutional amendment to ban the practice, with Republicans much more likely than Democrats to hold those views. Polling on the subject has been volatile, however, and a Washington Post-ABC News poll taken in the past several days found a majority opposed to such an amendment.
But GOP pollster Tony Fabrizio, who conducted a survey for Log Cabin, said only 3 percent of likely voters consider marriage an important election issue, and four out of five who back a constitutional amendment already support Bush. "The people it matters most to in terms of banning gay marriage, he has them," Fabrizio said.
But the president could be hurt among the 25 percent of gays who, according to 2000 exit polls, said they voted for him.
Bush got off to a rocky start with the Log Cabin Republicans in 1999, when, as a candidate, he said he would probably not meet with the group because it would "create a huge political nightmare for people." He reversed himself months later and met with some of the group's local members, and senior administration officials briefed 200 Log Cabin members earlier this year.
"We were the only gay and lesbian group in America to endorse the president in 2000," Guerriero said. "You don't want to be taken for granted in American politics, and I believe we were."

without sounding like a racist or a homophobe (NEITHER of which I am, by ANY means), it's a totally different ballgame than BET.
for lack of a better word...'Acceptance' of a black oriented TV station didn't/doesn't have anywhere near the public or political ramifications as a 'gay' oriented TV station. As cable grew and more and more speciatly channels emerged, a 'black' channel was just not even controversial. There was a need, and an obvious market. With a few excpetions in certain parts of America, BET was accepted with open arms.
a Gay channels is quite different. There are still way too many homophobes in America, and it's too politically charged and polarized at this point.
Yes..the market share IS there. Yes, it's time America wake up. Yes, it's a viable business model to have a gay oriented cable channel. Will it actually fly? Probably....if it can get on the air.
but..it's really NOT the same as BET.
I'm a firm believer in TA for REAL companies with REAL products and REAL revenues and REAL SEC filings. QBID has none of these, but, for the sake of argument, I'm gonna watch very closely the next few days to see if you guys with the well thought out TA (which I do appreciate, by the way..thanks...) really works, or if what we're seeing is typical Market Maker manipulation of a stock that's running wild on rumors and bulliten board postings.
but..does your TA give any clue as to when QBID will hit .05? (very big grin...)
seriously...thanks for the serious analysis. It'll be fun to see what happens in the next 6-8 weeks, for sure.
yup..must be a bunch of rumors and stuff posted on RB..haha..I don't have the patience to wade through it all.
I've got a sell order in at .004 for a little bit of profit :) We'll see how long it takes to reach it..
ROTFLMAO :)
any idea what's moving QBID up today? Planetary Alignment? Solar Flares and sunspots? The wind blowing from the SE?
(Very big grin)
wow...lots of volume, and a nice price boost...and, on NO news?
wheeeeee.
:)
QBID extra heavy volume to start.
ooooooooooh
dd.. the term 'domestic partner' is used quite often, and MANY companies offer benifits and insurance to same-sex domestic partneships, mine included, as well as many city governments.
"marriage" offers the next level up from that for gay couples in regards to Power of Attorney, health decisions, adoption, etc. And, of course, all the tax and property related issues.
I think it's long overdue in this country that consenting adults of any sex should be allowed to make a legal, binding commitment to each other.
I hate to say it, but with all the REST of the serious issues this country faces, the fact that the republicans are SO focused on this will probably be their undoing in the fall. And that pisses me off to no end.

PYDS .41 x .42 now #msg-2357999, Payment Data Systems Files Patent on Industry's First Debit Card Bill Payment Technology
- Forms Strategic Partnership to Reach 40 Million Unbanked Customers -
SAN ANTONIO, Mar 5, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Payment Data Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PYDS) an integrated electronic payments solutions provider, announced today that it has filed for patent protection from the U.S. Patent Office for the technology that will enable bill payment using a debit card. In expectation of this patent, Payment Data Systems has entered into a strategic relationship with Secure Cash Network, Inc. to provide the electronic payment industry's first bill payment debit card.
The debit card technology for which Payment Data Systems has filed for patent protection, allows a cardholder to use their stored-value Secure Cash Network debit or ATM card to pay local, national or international bills with the card from their electronic balance. Because it does not require linkage to a traditional checking or savings account, this new debit technology is unique in that it allows for use by 'unbanked' consumers.
Payment Data Systems, in anticipation of owning patent rights to this industry-first bill payment processing technology, has agreed to provide Secure Cash Network with a perpetual license for use of the technology as part of an initial roll-out strategy. However, the Payment Data Systems debit card bill payment technology can also be licensed by any provider of debit or stored-value cards and networks, including: MasterCard, Visa, and American Express among others.
President and COO of Payment Data Systems, Inc. Louis Hoch, said, "While trends clearly project extensive growth in demand for products and services available to unbanked consumers -- who now represent a worldwide market potential of $1.1 trillion -- traditional payment processing products and services have been expensive and are not easily accessible. Payment Data Systems expects to become a market leader in the payment services sector by establishing first entry into this underserved segment of the marketplace with our superior payment processing solutions."
Payment Data Systems' new payment processing solution partnered with Secure Cash Network, marries the stored value debit card and its extensive debit network with the electronic payment and settlement connections of Payment Data Systems, Inc. to traditional billers. In the event a biller cannot accept electronic payments, Payment Data Systems allows for bill payment by unbanked consumers using its own check-writing capabilities.
The unique new bill payment functionality, which works equally well for all banked customers, will be added to Secure Cash Network's card products currently marketed under the brand name, "Secure Cash Payday" for employer payroll applications and "Pronto Banco" for retail applications. The new features added by the Payment Data Systems patent introduce capabilities for unbanked consumers using Secure Cash Network debit or ATM cards to pay bills, shop at millions of retail locations, access cash though ATMs and access and transfer funds internationally. Additional products will be developed to further meet the needs of employers, banked and unbanked consumers.
Initial target markets for the Secure Cash Network card, utilizing Payment Data Systems patented payment solutions technology include 3,000 retail/service outlets located in Texas and west into Southern California with broader and rapid expansion plans to follow.
Greg Bloh, President and CEO of Secure Cash Network said, "We are thrilled to be engaged with Payment Data Systems, Inc., a proven leader in the electronic payment industry. Adding the bill payment functionality to our existing brands supports our mission and brand development strategy to become the premier financial services solutions provider to the unbanked consumer market."
"The Convenience Store industry has become the trade channel of choice for unbanked consumers. Adding bill payment to our suite of card-based services will add additional value to consumers while creating a new profit opportunity for our retail partners," states Tony Muscarello, Executive Vice President of Secure Cash Network and former Chairman of the National Association of Convenience Stores Supplier Board.

:)
I think you're right. poop. I wanted more at .001 ;)
I'll give you $10.50 for it. You pay the shipping.
:>)
you're absolutely right. Too much foolishness going on. Hence my post about keeping posts it non-personal and QBID realted only.
I'm here becuase I've believed for 4 years that a gay-oriented cable station is a vialble, valid business opportunity. And I put my money where my mouth is.
Tell ya what...I'll back off my negative comments/critizism for the next 45 days or so (till the 'real launch' is supposed to happen). Because I've heard this story SOOOO many times over the past 4 years, I'll give it one more shot of 'crying wolf' without going to get the rifle to protect myself.
And I'll ask John to do the same, for the sake of the board.
BUT. I swear. If we get another 'oh...yeah..the fiber optics aren't ready yet" or 'funding fell through' or some other crap ass excuse for NOT launching again, I will NOT hold back my criticism.
deal?
dave
haha Chris! Stick that beeoch on ebay!!
uhm..I trash QBID from time to time as well (I'm a veteran shareholder..I'm allowed..hehehe)
...but I wouldn't expect my non-QBID posts to be posted here :>)
the INSINUATION by Noc is that Hollen had something to do with the illegal activity by ECNC CEO Hughes. That's what I resent having to read here. And I'd resent it if it was posted about anyone else, not just Hollen.
like I said...let's keep this NON personal, and only QBID related...that's all.
NOC...please keep non-QBID stuff off here, ok? Sheeeesh.
Hollen never denied he was an employee/whatever of eConnect..Public knowledge.
sheesh..I go away for awhile and ya'll break out the swords and start sparring again :>)
It's been a LOOONG time since I went to Vegas to see the ECNC booth at Comdex. AT THE TIME, I believed (and still do) that it was a great idea, and a viable product.
Nowadays, no way. I can electronicaly transfer my money safely and securely wherever I want. Many bills, etc, are just automatically charged to either my VISA or direct withdrawl from checking. I can fund my brokerage online myself.
I agree with the statement that people who aren't computer savy won't give a rip about this cashpad thing anyway.
but..I'm happy to see that justice was served. And remember, some of use were smart and DID flip this beeoch a few times and make a LITTLE profit :)
good to see ya'll again.
ps..I wonder what happened to the eConnect Race Car :)

Gay Marriage Licenses Issued in Oregon
Mar 3, 1:27 PM (ET)
By RUKMINI CALLIMACHI
(AP) Martha Spires, center and Brooke Gelfand, right, both of Portland, line up to apply for a marriage...
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - County officials began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples in Portland Wednesday, joining the rapidly spreading national movement that has moved from San Francisco to upstate New York.
Meanwhile, New York's attorney general said current state law prohibits same-sex weddings but that he would leave it to the courts to decide if the law is constitutional. In Washington, D.C., lawmakers debated same-sex marriages, with Republican senators such as Majority Leader Bill Frist asking Congress to embrace a constitutional amendment banning them.
"Same sex marriage is likely to spread through all 50 states in the coming years," Frist said. "It is becoming increasingly clear that Congress must act."
In Oregon, about 50 people lined up for a sudden chance to wed after a Multnomah County commissioner said she would begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
An ebullient Mary Li, a Multnomah County employee, held up the very first certificate - showing her and her partner's name under the Oregon seal.
"I can't describe how great it feels," Li said.
Every time a license was issued, people cheered. Gay bar owners handed out free glasses of champagne and many couples carried bouquets of roses.
In New York, Spitzer said in a statement obtained by The Associated Press, "I personally would like to see the law changed, but must respect the law as it now stands."
Both sides of the polarizing issue have been waiting for Spitzer's opinion since last Friday when the mayor of New Paltz, a small college town 75 miles north of Manhattan, married 25 same-sex couples without licenses. Village Mayor Jason West now faces 19 criminal counts and could face jail time.

On Wednesday, Nyack, N.Y. Mayor John Shields said he would also start marrying gay couples and planned to seek a license himself to marry his same-sex partner.
However, Spitzer said Wednesday that New York's law contains references to "bride and groom" and "husband and wife" and does not authorize same-sex marriage.
"The issues underlying this opinion represent matters on which people of good faith have strongly held and widely divergent views," Spitzer said.
Spitzer last week refused a request from the state health department for an injunction stopping the gay weddings. New York Gov. George Pataki has said that performing gay marriages is illegal.
West married 25 gay couples on Friday, making New Paltz another flash point in the national debate over gay marriage. More than 3,400 couples have been married in San Francisco; West now has about 1,000 couples on a waiting list.

In Massachusetts, same-sex marriages have the approval of the state's highest court - but the state-sanctioned marriages will not start until May.
New York and Oregon are among 12 states without laws defining marriage as between a man and a woman. Oregon state law defines marriage as a "civil contract entered into in person by males at least 17 years of age and females at least 17 years of age."
Multnomah County Chair Diane Linn directed the county to begin issuing same-sex wedding licenses after consulting with the county attorney, but without an official vote from the four other county commissioners. On Wednesday, three other commissioners affirmed her decision.
Portland has long been viewed as a bastion of liberalism, but opposition from Oregon's Republican leadership was swift.
"I'm very upset that this travesty is taking place in Oregon. It definitely is an insult to the voters and to the people," said Kevin Mannix, chairman of the Oregon Republican Party, who called for the attorney general to put a halt to the marriages immediately.
Two protesters yelled at the couples across a yellow police tape as officers kept watch.
In New York, West, 26, said he was motivated by civil rights and "common decency" to join the vanguard of the growing gay marriage movement, along with San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.
West was to be in court Wednesday night to answer charges that he married 19 couples knowing they did not have marriage licenses, a violation of the state's domestic relations law. He planned to plead innocent.
"I don't plan to spend time in jail," the Green Party mayor said on NBC's "Today Show.""I think that the judge before whom this case will be heard will see that the constitution is clear on this, will see that our laws are clear on this and will see that these marriages are in fact legal."
If convicted, West could face from a $25 to $500 fine or jail time. Ulster County District Attorney Donald Williams said a jail term wasn't being contemplated at this point.

Former tech firm CEO sentenced to eight years in prison
ASSOCIATED PRESS
2:38 p.m. March 2, 2004
LOS ANGELES – The former CEO of technology firm eConnect was sentenced to more than eight years in prison for overseeing a scheme that defrauded investors of $4.1 million by artificially inflating the company's stock price, officials said Tuesday.
Thomas Hughes, 56, was sentenced late Monday in federal court, the U.S. attorney's office said in a statement.
Hughes, of Rancho Palos Verdes, pleaded guilty last August to three counts of securities fraud for distributing false press releases and making misleading statements on the company's Web site.
He also pleaded guilty to one count of criminal contempt of court for violating a 2000 federal injunction issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission by spreading misleading information about the company.
Hughes had faced up to 30 years in prison on the securities fraud charges and an indefinite maximum sentence on the contempt count, officials said. He received a sentenced of eight years and one month.
The Los Angeles-based company developed electronic payment software and hardware. Prosecutors say Hughes helped send out press releases claiming that eConnect had obtained a $20 million investment in quality asset-backed bonds and started a stock repurchase program.
In reality, the bonds had little value and no stock buyback program existed, prosecutors said.
eConnect has since come under new management and changed its name to EyeCashNetworks, prosecutors said.
Officials at the firm, which provides services for making payments through the Internet, are not charged with wrongdoing.
Here is a recent a letter to the editor of the Desert Sun, the local
Palm Springs newspaper:
MARRIAGE BY THE GOOD BOOK
President Bush and some of your readers indicate their support for a
constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. If an amendment
was created based on a literal reading of the Bible it might well
contain the following stipulations:
* Marriage in the United States shall consist of a union between one
man and one or more women. (Gen 29:17-28; II Sam:2-5)
* Marriage shall not impede a man?s right to take concubines in
addition to his wife or wives. (II Sam 5:13; I Kings 11:3; Chron 11:21)
* A marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin.
If the wife is not a virgin, she shall be executed (Deut 22:13-21)
* Marriage of a believer and a non-believer shall be forbidden (Gen
24:3; Num 25:1-9; Ezra 9-12; Neh 10:30)
* Since marriage is for life, no state or federal law shall permit
divorce (Deut 22:19; Mark 10:9)
The president cites religious belief as his justification for
discrimination. Will he follow the biblical directives regarding
marriage or is he just using the bible as a convenient excuse for
prejudice?

damn...looks like she's holding steady at .0015.
Poop. I want more at .001 :)
IBZT lots of volume early
mmm...sushi....mmmmm
I'll let ya know if I get filled at .0010
interesting article...a few things that bug me:
" Triangle paid a film crew $5,000 to shoot the footage and will negotiate further once shooting is complete.
I know this business. $5000 is peanuts for a film crew (and for someone with Mr. Torres apparent experience and qualifications. And it's even harder for me to imaging paying a company to go out and shoot without having a contract to EDIT it. Granted, a small, one man crew with a DV camera (or MAYBE a Digibeta) could shoot for a few days for that...if they're slow and need the work....
I read this as "here's a little money to go shoot a bunch of interviews with gay people who just got married". If we like what you shoot, we'll figure out if we have the money to edit it all together into a show". Seems bizzare to me. Then again..god knows I've done MY fare of pro-bono/low cost documentaries for non-profits, etc..in my day....
also:
Triangle Multi-Media President Frank Olsen said he hopes to have a 24-hour transmission of sample programming available by May 1 and distributed by satellite and to theaters and hotel conference rooms. The documentary would kick off programming.[i/]
"hopes"???? bad choice of wording. Ya'd think after all this time there would be a stockpile of programming in the wings already..But...sure...why not a timely documentary to get things started.
and finally"
Keith Cocozza, director of corporate communications for Time Warner Cable, said the agreement has been in place since last year, but it’s up to each market division to decide whether to air the channel.
well...now we have a NAME at TW....but..if the agreement's been in place since last year...why no launch last year???
and..looks like the market this am isn't likiing Willy dumping his shares..low of .0013 so far....what the hell...I'lll put a bid ito buy in at .0009 and see if it fills in a few days....sigh.
wow. Tomorrow should be an interesting day.
sure wish his grammer and spelling was better tho :)
Skunks..thanks for all the great research and info!
I think the one thing I've struggling with is the whole 'It's a STATE's issue' argument. My heterosexual marriage is valid in all 50 states. How insane would it be if it were only valid in 5 of them instead???
to me...that seems to be the biggest legal challenge the community is facing, which is probably why Bush wants a contitutional amendmend banning gay marriage. If it's in the constitution, everyone has to obey it.
I'd love to read more legal opinions on the matter. It's really kinda interesting that way...
I'm looking for it to trend down towards .001 as the buyback gets closer. And, I'll probably get some around there as well.
