Skunks..thanks for all the great research and info!

I think the one thing I've struggling with is the whole 'It's a STATE's issue' argument. My heterosexual marriage is valid in all 50 states. How insane would it be if it were only valid in 5 of them instead???

to me...that seems to be the biggest legal challenge the community is facing, which is probably why Bush wants a contitutional amendmend banning gay marriage. If it's in the constitution, everyone has to obey it.

I'd love to read more legal opinions on the matter. It's really kinda interesting that way...
