“…Coretec's expansive network of resources."
Michael Kraft, CEO
Are you kidding me! Can you believe it! The guy said it.
Amazing.
https://ir.thecoretecgroup.com/press-releases/detail/1344/the-coretec-group-hires-matthew-hoffman-as-its-new-director
My take over the years, Cloneman…
The future’s uncertain, and the end is always near
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, all night long
Apparently Calton forgot to mention…
that he is Coretec’s Director/Co-Chair. Oops!
Full disclosure* comes to mind…
*Full disclosure is the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) requirement that publicly traded companies release and provide for the free exchange of all material facts that are relevant to their ongoing business operations.

For what it’s worth…
Simon Calton, Coretec’s Director/Co-Chair is also CEO/Co-Founder (2012) of the Carlton James Diversified Alpha Fund with Simon Johnson, DAF’s Fund Manager.

No kidding!
And you’re right… enough said.
Would you include TDCP accountability?
Listen, the only thing that CRTG inherited is Hakki’s incomplete invention… and with that set aside, offshore actually, CRTG is trying to reinvent CHS – or they say they will – without NDSUs permission. Yeah right… good luck. And for what purpose? Fuel for Musk cars of the future?! Dream on baby.
Absolutely ridiculous. Laughable actually.
Dr. Phil… you, no doubt, have the world by the tail. Don’t laugh!
Sometimes you need some killing the blues…
Far out man…
Hippies would have loved it and put to use LP2 had it been around.
I’ve never in my life seen such a devastating nothingness as this decade-and-a-half of this CSpace-to-CHS debacle.
We all have our own stories with this penny, but I know of a couple who invested a fifth-of-a-million dollars into the SeeSpace fantasy when it was in its heyday. The word tragic comes to mind. Enough said.
And Cloneman, can you imagine any one officer/director/board member, of the present or past, grow some cojones and apologize for any wrong they knowingly committed? Yeah right…
This most important part of your post…
is what a few just don’t get… or simply don’t want to accept:
2) Coretec's own CHS IP? Crazy, we would have to circumvent 13 other related Patents, which would be impossible!!
3) "OUR CHS" Kraftyman said! We have nothing which is ours! Only NDSU has a pretty solid monopoly on the CHS products!
That said.
This CHS/Coretec fiasco/fusion that we 3DIcon/CSpacer’s have been put through is nothing less than a travesty instigated by its merger! The big lie that kept us in the game was that Coretec’s silicon-based polymers would solve the image-space dilemma in our image chamber and save the day! So what finally happened after 3 years? They sent CSpace to Australia! Brilliant! Again, where are you Keen!
Tman, the only thing CRTG shareholders own is CSpace technology… and I should add that some of that IP is shared with OU. Period.
And yeah, I’m pissed.
Very well said…
Mr. Moderators’ I do believe this post is worthy of special consideration for others information. Thank you.
Victor Keen! Where are you? Have you lost it man?
This is getting whackier by the day…
As the old cliché goes… You can’t make this stuff up!
So has Coach!
You can’t Coach when league rules say you don’t have what it takes to play the game! That’s obvious.
With cap-in-hand…
Coach should show up at the NDSU/RF’s door and negotiate a reciprocal deal to use his CSpace patents to make the image chamber a CHS virtual reality… as we were originally told.
CSpace is Coach’s only bargaining tool… he has nothing else. Does he realize that?
Question World: Say the above really happened and Coach couldn’t cut a deal and consequently fired, how much is CSpace worth in the real world? Was Hakki’s work all for naught?
What Coach could have said Feb 25th instead...
“We had to make a change in the source of our CHS and we severed our ties with NDSU because in many areas value was not being realized. We have surveyed the other options existing and are currently in detailed and confidential discussions with a major international supplier and potential distribution partner for our CHS. I wish to emphasize ‘our CHS’ as we are focused on building unique Coretec CHS IP even though our subsidiary, Coretec, does not own any patents.
“With the change in the source of our CHS, we are not aware of any potential violations of others’ intellectual property rights, however, we may face claims, including from direct competitors, other companies, scientists or research universities, asserting that our technology or the commercial use of such technology infringes or otherwise violates the intellectual property rights of others. We cannot be certain that our technologies and processes do not violate the intellectual property rights of others. If we are successful in developing technologies that allow us to earn revenues and our market profile grows, we could become increasingly subject to such claims.
“Additionally, if we were found to be infringing or otherwise violating the intellectual property rights of others, we could face significant costs to implement work-around methods, and we cannot provide any assurance that any such work-around would be available or technically equivalent to our potential technology. In such cases, we might need to license a third party’s intellectual property, although any required license might not be available on acceptable terms, or at all.
“Having said all this shareholders, I am pleased to inform you that no one has left the team. We, the Coretec Team, remain steadfast in our belief that CHS (Si6H12) will be a valuable silicon precursor in the very near future to several significant applications and the only question remains is ‘who will be supplying the CHS?’ Us! That’s right! We expect that supplier to be Coretec, somehow, someway, given the fact that we do not own any patents. And I must say, non-ownership of those patents have provided the hurdles we have encountered in all our dealings of the recent past and have been much more than initially expected. However! We did not lose faith then, we have not lost faith now, and we only hope that you have not as well.”
Try not to laugh…
Example:
Our subsidiary, Coretec, does not own any patents
We do not currently own any patents related to our silicon-based businesses and only had an exclusive worldwide license to certain intellectual property owned by NDSU/RF pursuant to a license agreement between Coretec and NDSU/RF. Under the license agreement with NDSU/RF, NDSU/RF retains ownership of the licensed patents. The NDSU/RF Agreement was renegotiated with NDSU/RF and on June 29, 2018, the Company entered into a Settlement Agreement with NDSU/RF to resolve the dispute, pursuant to which the Company and NDSU/RF fully and forever released each other from the NDSU/RF Agreement and mutually released each other of all claims.

Take it easy Tman…
I’ve been out for a while… I know your frustration.
The patents are still out there… the money with cojones isn’t.
Delayed 10-K today…
Are you surprised?
Or could it be that Phil is leveraging for a renegotiated contract knowing there’s no such thing as “our CHS” unless he’s its quarterback with the team having 15 days to decide?
https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/sec/0001437749-19-006237/0001437749-19-006237.pdf
Hey Coach! One other thing…
Heard from the General Manager lately?
You know Coach, you haven’t had a winning season since you’ve been here. Your starting quarterback left the team and went back home and afterward you said that “value wasn’t being realized.” Really! Listen man, you’ve got to pay top players in this league if you want to contend… and he was simply the best! And you let him walk!
Fans are watching you Coach. And talk about fans boycotting games because management allowed their players to take-a-knee during the Anthem, likewise… you and your staff better know what you’re doing with your knew game plan that you devised a few weeks ago. In other words, you’d better start winning – and fast! Or fans won’t pay to see your games anymore. They’re tired of losing seasons Coach. And you’d better hope that you get a new QB that’s even half the player that Phil was – and quick – or you’ll be lucky to sell one ticket to your remaining games.
This season’s over in a little more than two weeks and I would imagine that GM Keen is watching closely the effects of your February 25th scant update to fans… which by the way, reminded me of the advice from one of the keenest minds that ever played the game. Here it is for your useful information…
“You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you are going, because you might not get there.” Yogi Berra
LinkedIn says Hakki Refai likes this…
albeit, holographic display.
https://www.draper.com/news-releases/future-3d-displays-comes-focus
“Equipping a computer or TV display to create high-quality 3D imagery with a field of view wide enough for multiple observers and amenable to a thin package has been an open challenge in the display community for quite some time,” said Gregg Favalora, who designs 3D display technologies as a principal member of the technical staff at Draper. “Past attempts to make a scalable electroholographic display have too often resulted in displays with limited image size, narrow field of view, reliance on moving parts or impractical to reduce to a compact package. Only now is the technology advancing to a point where 3D systems can soon be deployed in complex, real-world environments.
“The LFPM technologies can be used in systems with the area of a postage stamp, or tiled into mobile, desktop or wall-sized holographic image projectors. That miniaturization is a boon for product companies that wrestle with reducing the size and weight of 3D displays.”
Hey Coach! Aside from the recent “our CHS” news, how’s that Aussie doped polymer image space coming along? You promised updates in the weeks and months to come last May. Have you cut any deals yet? I mean you haven’t forgotten CSpace… that Coretec owns CSpace technology, have you? Past shareholders always knew it as “our CSpace”… and so did its inventor.
KU? Check! It’s called “Sooner Magic”, Cloneman…
Instigated in 1976 in Lincoln, Nebraska… it’s never left us.
Nevertheless, please don’t tell me to patent Coretec CHS… I can’t work miracles! Unless they get their playmaker back from NDSU, there’s very little IP hope coming from Team Coretec… regardless of what Coach says.
And don’t forget… this is the same team who lost the inventor of the innovative CSpace Formation.
Kansas! Easier said than done, Cloneman…
On a similar subject…
Wow! So much for pep talks!
Coach’s pep rally Monday apparently fizzled. If you’re going to talk, you’ve got to motivate the players you have… make them believe in the team! Team Coretec is still worth 4 and a half cents at the end of the week.
I think when Dr. Phil’s team quit and went back home to NDSU, the players remaining knew that their odds of winning went with Phil. They knew that the quarterback’s talent was all his… and you can’t get that talent without paying for it. Phil knew CHS and he knew that NDSU had his back.
“Our CHS”?
“Loss!” How ‘bout second-half butt-kickin’…
On a similar note…
With Dr. Phil’s team quitting, Coach Kraft has a lot of rebuilding to do, both offensively (Coretec CHS) and defensively (Coretec CHS IP). And he better know what he’s doing in the process.
And remember this…
Whatever the disagreement was, the NDSU team went home and took their gear with them… and you’ve got to believe that they’ll be watching closely Coach Kraft’s play calling in future games. And if it’s similar to theirs, they’ll throw a red flag for officials to review the play.
“We, the Coretec Team, remain steadfast…”
Wow! They’re a “team” now!
Minus of course, a team of scientists, led by Dr. Phil Boudjouk at North Dakota State University.
But need not worry.
Coach Kraft says although they got their butts kicked in the past… “We’ve not lost faith. I wish to emphasize ‘our CHS’ as we are focused on building unique Coretec CHS IP.” Gives you goosebumps doesn’t it…
Go get ‘em team!
Go Mikey!

You remaining believers out there…
In case you haven’t noticed, the faithful disciple Walrusman left the building two-months ago and hasn’t been read from since. And apparently, the always answers-your-email Doug Freitag did too. Don’t believe me? Send him a dispatch!
Now tell me… does that tell you something?
Sorry, Martin… your vision didn’t deserve this.
Yeah, for Riders On The Storm…
What a ride we were taken on… and you can still ride for six-cents. Hard to believe…
Again, CRTG doesn’t own CHS…
it owns CSpace!
From the June 28, 2017 Shareholder Letter…
In addition to the above relating to advancing our CHS technology in the areas described above, we continue to seek opportunities to overcome the challenge that remains for CSpace, i.e., a scalable image chamber material. We are currently looking at two approaches, a newly developed glass in Australia and a lighter weight polymer than contains finely distributed light emitting particles involving Coretec technology. We have signed an NDA with the interested party in Australia which will allow us to have more thorough discussions.
New glass with smart potential
Australian researchers at the University of Adelaide have developed a method for embedding light-emitting nanoparticles into glass without losing any of their unique properties – a major step towards ‘smart glass’ applications such as 3D display screens or remote radiation sensors.
This new “hybrid glass” successfully combines the properties of these special luminescent (or light-emitting) nanoparticles with the well-known aspects of glass, such as transparency and the ability to be processed into various shapes including very fine optical fibres.
These novel luminescent nanoparticles, called upconversion nanoparticles, have become promising candidates for a whole variety of ultra-high tech applications such as biological sensing, biomedical imaging and 3D volumetric displays. Integrating these nanoparticles into inert glass opens up possibilities for new hybrid materials and devices. For example, neuroscientists currently use dye injected into the brain and lasers to be able to guide a glass pipette to the site they are interested in. If fluorescent nanoparticles were embedded in the glass pipettes, the unique luminescence of the hybrid glass could act like a torch to guide the pipette directly to the individual neurons of interest.
Although this method was developed with upconversion nanoparticles, the researchers believe their new ‘direct-doping’ approach can be generalised to other nanoparticles with interesting photonic, electronic and magnetic properties. There will be many applications – depending on the properties of the nanoparticle.

So what’s worth 6-cents right now… CHS or CSpace?
“Toast!” But there’s no bread…
The Coretec Group didn’t have the ingredients - nor knowhow - to make a better bread... much less, make it rise!
Lesson learned: They should have purchased the recipe first.
Disneyworld is on a hillside overlooking Tulsa, Braveeman…
6804 South Canton Avenue is just off Yale Avenue to the east and south of Saint Francis Hospital about 7 or 8 blocks. Can’t miss it… it’s the empty office space on the north end of the building. Tell Judy I said “Hi”... if she’s there. Thanks.
What a charade we’re being put through, Cloneman…
It’s becoming unbelievable… other than the dilution factor you mention. This guy thinks that he and the tech guru can persuade an audience that they can get them out of some kind of bind that they’re in. But with what?! These guys are going onstage empty-handed! The CHS Fairy is in Fargo and Mikee lost his tooth late-June!
I guess they don’t mind embarrassment… the Magical Mystery Tour in Novi comes to mind.
Yeah, sorry about the cancelled game after just starting… valuable playing time lost for everyone. Lightning plays no games though.
What about this bizarre statement…
“… We will also continue to strengthen our industry relationships and advance discussions, hopefully resulting in a not-too-distant joint development venture between Coretec and an ideal partner to help us test and scale the technology.”
Huh! With no working capital! Man, you better hope you find a deep-pockets big-brother. And to test and scale what? CHS technology? You’re kidding. You have no CHS… much less, research capital! You lost your CHS agreement with the Research Foundation at the end of June! Remember? Is it that you and your new bud – if you find one – are hoping to cut a brand-new deal with the RF? Is that what you have in-mind? If so, you both better have hats-in-hand.
Michael… you play a good guesswork game, no doubt. But so far, very few are taking you seriously.
https://www.thecoretecgroup.com/media/press-releases/detail/1336/coretec-leadership-to-attend-and-speak-at-the-battery-show
And by the way, whose dime are you and Ramez traveling on?
Sheesh…
This is what we do know…
From the June 30, 2016 8-K:
The exclusive licensing agreement, with the NDSU Research Foundation, provides access to 11 existing and 3 pending patents representing the global intellectual property around this silicon-based technology for these markets.
From the June 30, 2018 10-Q:
The License Agreement was renegotiated with NDSU/RF and on June 29, 2018, the Company entered into a settlement agreement and general release (the “Settlement Agreement”) with NDSU/RF to resolve the dispute, pursuant to which the Company and NDSU/RF fully and forever released each other from the License Agreement and mutually released each other of all claims.
“The agreement with NDSU to commercialize CHS never ended, just the agreement to work with NDSU as a researcher and to commercialize the other patents NDSU had has ended, which was made clear.”
Iamthe walrus, at your convenience, please provide the board with formal evidence, such as an SEC filing or Company PR, providing proof of your statement.
Thank you in advance.
From Kraft’s last blog…
“… we are confident CHS (Si6H12) is the superior silicon precursor and can form Si nanomaterials and thin films at lower energy/temperatures and with higher purity. CHS represents a far better precursor choice over ANY other material.”
“We”? Who are you speaking for?
Regardless, the NDSU Research Foundation is sitting pretty right now… isn’t it, Mikee? How much were those NDSU patents worth 2-years ago… and how much are they worth now? Ownership talks, man!
Turns out, we did them a favor… didn’t we?
What’s there not to understand…
Coretec no longer has access to NDSU’s CHS patents!
Coretec will fund a team of scientists, led by Dr. Phil Boudjouk under a Sponsored Research Agreement (SRA) at North Dakota State University (NDSU), entered into in 2015, to support further development and commercialization of the technology within the growing markets of energy storage, solar power, microelectronics, and printable electronics. The exclusive licensing agreement, with the NDSU Research Foundation, provides access to 11 existing and 3 pending patents representing the global intellectual property around this silicon-based technology for these markets. (6/30/2016 8-K)
… the Company and NDSU/RF fully and forever released each other from the License Agreement and mutually released each other of all claims. (8/14/2018 10-Q)
And why the continued writings about possible Coretec production of a CHS derivative since the 10-Q? Again, Coretec no longer has legal rights to CHS patents owned by NDSU!
Get it?!
Coretec’s only glimmer of hope is CSpace… and you know why? They own it! (And they need to sell it to a company that knows what it’s doing!)
Be careful iamthe walrus…
Even if a new partner is savvy enough…
to almost miraculously invent a valid CHS without infringing NDSUs patents, the time required for a patent is very time consuming. And how would this knowledge impact potential investors knowing that a patent is pending? And for what industry?
The 10-Q has spoken… Ownership is everything.
And you’re right flyersman, that little green teacup is all they have… and they shipped it to the land down under. Make sense?
Here’s what Hakki and Badia have been working on at their store since the 3DIcon days…
https://patents.justia.com/inventor/hakki-h-refai
Oh... okay, have it your way…
Moving forward, or do we…
About The Coretec Group, Inc.
The Coretec Group, Inc. (the "Company") utilizes a portfolio of silicon-based and volumetric display materials to pursue commercial development of products in energy-focused verticals such as energy storage, solar, and solid-state lighting, as well as printable electronics and 3D volumetric displays.
Forget about the above-mentioned volumetric display materials, we own that, thank goodness, but…
Coretec recently got their hand slapped and were told to go away and that they had no business using NDSU facilitated research to any of their CHS technologies ever again. Understanding that – if not, read the June 29, 2018 8-K – I have the following questions about The Coretec Group’s procedure statement:
1. Where does the “portfolio of silicon-based materials” originate?
2. Who owns the portfolio?
3. Does The Coretec Group have legal access to that portfolio?
4. But most importantly, will future CHS intellectual property derived from this portfolio be owned by Coretec? That’s the million-dollar question… and don’t forget it.
I hope Coretec learned its lesson… a valuable lesson. They should have known better.
Read into it what you want…
and believe what you want… it’s your dime. But the June 29th 8-K says this:
Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
As previously disclosed, in June 2016, Coretec Industries LLC, the wholly-owned subsidiary of The Coretec Group Inc. (the “Company”), signed an exclusive licensing agreement (the “Exclusive Licensing Agreement”) with the NDSU Research Foundation (“NDSU/RF”), pursuant to which the Company had sponsored North Dakota State University to provide research and to license certain technologies from August 14, 2015 to June 30, 2017. The Company was to provide compensation to NDSU/RF and NDSU/RF was to provide certain deliverables to the Corporation. However, a dispute arose between the Corporation and NDSU/RF regarding compensation and deliverables (the “Dispute”).
On June 29, 2018, the Company and Coretec Industries LLC (collectively, the “Coretec”) entered into a settlement agreement and general release (the “Settlement Agreement”) with NDSU/RF to resolve the Dispute, pursuant to which Coretec and NDSU/RF shall fully and forever release each other from the Exclusive Licensing Agreement and mutually release each other of all claims in connection therewith.
Pretty definitive to me.
We had to back away… and most importantly, they let us. We got lucky late-June.
And I haven’t heard word that Coretec was reinstated to another agreement with the Research Foundation after the Company was released… have you?
Wondering out loud…
Anyone know what happened to the SRA with Dr. Phil & Gang? Just $21,000 was spent for R&D first quarter. Do you think they’re history too with the release of the Licensing Agreement? The IP they worked with is gone… at least for our side.
Guess we need a partner that knows his CHS stuff… huh.
But come to think of it… what do we have that others need to create that CHS stuff?
Surely, we must have something…
So what’s new Michael…
“Commercial success for the Company hinges on its technological advances as well as its ability to increase visibility in the market and create meaningful relationships with potential partners and customers,” said Michael Kraft, CEO of The Coretec Group. “We also understand the importance of maintaining effective communications with shareholders, and have placed an emphasis on doing so using several mediums. We are excited about the progress made to convert ongoing high level conversations with partners and customers into agreements that we believe will commercialize and scale our silicon-based material technologies.”
Seems like I’ve heard that before… you’re beginning to sound like a broken record. Again Michael. What’s new?
https://ir.thecoretecgroup.com/press-releases/detail/1335/the-coretec-group-issues-corporate-update
Yeah, flyersman…
you don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
These guys telling us the shows they see and what can be done, etc., etc. I don’t know how they get away with it, much less, how they can live with themselves.
What a racket.
