Nicely called and played Mr. Chipper!
Thank you for your reply, I sure have lots to learn.
Farooq, so someone bought 20K call or put option at 12 strike? If it was a call buy why will they short the stock? if you will make money on option call if they stocks goes above 12. I'm sorry i'm new to options. I just want to understand this important strategy. thank you! If you use skype, please feel free to add me ira.medina1 so we wont bore people here.
Hey, Chris. Can you please inbox me your skyname and/or email address. Thank you, talk to you soon.
From where(website)do you get this info.
Thanks!
I did exactly the same thing you did, Lucro, only difference is that i do this with options. I sold my April puts at the open on Friday and bought calls but I am now looking forward to buying some puts on Monday, almost bought some at the close on Friday, they ran BAC up big time in meager vol and news. This smelled like a pure pump to me, my feeling is that they want it to touch 10 again and then down we go to lower 9s. The only thing that makes me thing it will actually go higher then 10 in April is the fact that BAC earning reports is coming out in APRIL 19. So, people will continue to be bullish on BAC thinking that I will have positive earning reports, which this might be true since BAC has been selling a lot of non-core assets and cutting down in its operation expenses.
Best of Luck to us!
Yep Dan, some people, myself included, believe that BAC will visit the $10 mark by May. We shall see.
What makes you say this? What is your rational behind it?
Thanks.
I respect everyone's thoughts/opinions and feelings about ACTC. However, I get a little disappointed when I see long-term posters bashing ACTC when is going down and yet praise it when it goes up. I for one follow the news, do chart/technical analyses; they work work well for me too. I bought at .082 sold everything in the .16s because i knew bondholders shares were going be approved and hit the market and, thus, bring the stock price down. I reenter again (1st out 4 positions) at .107 and planing to buy a second position in the .09 area and go all in if it ever hits .07s area. No news are pending for the next couple of months. Therefore, I'm patiently waiting for the stock to drop so can i accumulate at a good price and them hold on tight for a possible jump/spike in May/June. If the price don't go below .10 that's great i will still have a chance to accumulate more in that area. Now, this is just my feeling since that is when news are going to start coming and bondholders will be mostly done dumping their shares. Patience, education and knowledge are key to have in the penny world. But the most important of all is for sure PATIENCE. Please, understand why the stock is going down, is a normal process! Why bashed? if you have not understand it. Remember that all stocks have cycles and patterns look at the price pattern for ACTC in the last 3/4 years, you will find a lot of answers to its price movements there. Such as support/resistance etc.
These are all just my thoughts, speculations and opinions and since i read everybody elses, i decided to contribute to the confusion and/or clarity.
Hi!
Quick question: What does "capture period" mean?
Thanks.
dd, where are you getting the 14 million share number sold my Lanza? According to the from 4 filed, he sold 7.6 million.http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=50895852 Now that is low compare to the 50M shares he holds. Another interesting thing is that not other officer has sold shares, unless they are not reporting it to the SEC/filing their from 4.
Would anyone care to make a guess-estimate as to how many shares have been dumped by the bond holders? I am very curious to know what everyone's guess will be. TY!
How many shares have the bondholders dumped so far? My guess-estimate is about 100M.
Where can i find more detail info about how the market played out in the 90s, which is what we are seeing today?
Thanks!
Well, if it was GR, I think i will do exactly that.
Thanks, i google them yesterday and all i found were comments from ihubers stating that AABA kills runs and shorts stocks. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything else.
wow that AABA market maker has been selling all day long. I wonder whose shares is it selling. I am intrigue by all the buys today but having that AABA sit all day long at the ask and not letting the stock go up is indeed interesting. Any thoughts anyone?
Thank you Bob for the your excellent analyses on the chart. You made very good points, I am hoping the stock pulls back some more, i am hoping it to get some at .105 but as soon as I see stock closing below the 50 and 20 ma line i will be out. Thanks again.
Definitely agree with you, Slvr. I wonder if any company assisted these professors with the stem cells injection. The daily chart for ACTC does look prime for a push above .10. It was oversold for a while and today's candle is very bullish, i am sure is going pop on daytraders' scanners tonight and tomorrow might turn out to be a fun trading day for them. We shall see.
Yes, having someone with many awards and huge reputation speaks volumes for a company and thank goodness we have Dr. Robert Langer in ACTC.
Yeah, that would have been a good lesson but it wouldn't happen because i'm sure those lenders will get back to ACTC by suing them. It is, nonetheless, a good dream I share with you :D
Yes! I also have the patience and believe in ACTC.
Long live ACTC :D
Yes, i agree. That is my gut feeling.
Ouch!Is that why you are hoping or thinking it will drop to .04 so you can average down? Don't get me wrong I'm praying for that so I can go all in. Do you intend to average down or did you go all in at .19? Best of lucks for us in 2012!
Anyone cares to share their position's average price for ACTC
My is .082
hmmm, the late day buying vol, although light, was what intrigued to buy some today at .082. They didn't let her move much. I didn't buy much only because I see some diluters MMs such as HSD and VERT on the ask and are not showing the number of shares they want to unload. I bought some just in case they do let her move a little before the 24th.
The following are just my thoughts about ACTC.
If you look at the chart pattern it becomes obvious that it tends to get in to the undersold area (RSI) and then it has a nice bounce. Every time it gets out of the Bollinger Bands with one large red candle that has a long wick it tends to have a a nice little bounce, which we started today. It will have two more green days getting a little above .10 and then comes Friday, which it will give me a good signal as to what really comes next for ACTC, will it be it continue going up and continue to follow its chart pattern and go down and close the gap at .04 from last November 2010? I know many of you look more at the fundamentals, I tend to follow the chart patterns more. However, any thing can happen any time with penny stocks, specially biostocks. So I added a few shares at around .08 today, I am hoping that it will close the gap at .04 to go all in but I am ready to buy more if i see a positive trend reversal. Also, we are in the holiday season so this might not help the a stock to have a nice bounce. I am not trying to scare or impose things on anyone, I am merely sharing my thoughts and actions.
Best luck to all of us.
Hello there! Is ira15. I have been busy with work but I want to find out if you still trading ACTC. I am waiting for it to come down to .05/.04 like last December but I wanted to get your input about it. I stopped by the chat room the other day and it was empty:(
Hope u still making a killing in the market!
Best,
Ira15
As I read the 8-K from GNTA http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=50311999 I am now wondering what will be the results of GNTA not being able to do the R/S Split by Dec 15, 2011. As this will put them in default with their agreement made with their creditor. Any thoughts?
On November 16, 21, and 28, 2011, and December 4, 2011, the Company entered into amendment agreements with certain investors in the September 2011 Financing to amend the terms of the G Notes to revise the timing of certain adjustment dates therein and to extend the deadline set forth in the September 2011 Purchase Agreement for the Company to effect a reverse stock split. As a result of the amendment agreement dated December 4, 2011, the reverse split must be implemented by December 15, 2011 and the second adjustment date for the conversion price under the G Notes has been moved to December 15, 2011.
On December 2, 2011, the Company received a letter from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) notifying the Company of FINRA’s determination that the Company’s request for approval of a proposed reverse stock split was deficient and therefore would not be processed. The Company currently intends to appeal such determination. There can be no assurance that we will be successful in any such appeal and, if we are unable to appeal the decision or secure a permanent waiver of the covenant requiring a reverse stock split in Section 1.3(b) of the September 2011 Purchase Agreement, the failure to implement a reverse stock split as required would constitute an event of default under our existing indebtedness.
Additionally, on October 21, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing that it had held a Special Meeting of Stockholders (the “Special Meeting”). At the Special Meeting, the Company’s stockholders approved a proposal that authorized the Company’s Board of Directors, in its discretion, to effect up to two reverse stock splits of the Company’s outstanding Common Stock, at exchange ratios up to 1 for-500 until December 31, 2012. The Company intends to rely upon such approval to implement one or more reverse stock splits by December 31, 2012.
Yep, you might be right and if i get caught with my pants down is ok, as I know they are always opportunities in the stock market. But for right now, my gut tells me to wait and if goes down to .002s area, i will go all in. I mean this stock is up 350% already, It needs to take another down day to have a better pull back up, at least those are the patterns I have observed with penny stocks over the course of the years.
Best luck to you and kudos to you if you are right about your statements.
True it didn't get approved for the reversed split they wanted to do in this month so the way I see it, is that this stock might have some good spike this month so i'm ready to take advantage but i will treat it like a hot potato in and out everyday, if possible. I would hate to get caught in a reverse split. I most admit that i'm hoping for this stock to pullback a little more (00.26 area will nice)before it jumps back up.
Good luck everyone, and remember no to be too greedy and always take whatever profits the market offers to you.
Ok, finished reading all the posst and now i know what is CIRM and Alpha. Thank you all for sharing insightful information on ACTC.
Pardon my ignorance again but who is Alpha?
Pardon my ignorance but what is the CIRM money we are talking about?
Can you provide a link to this issue/article. Thank you kindly.
All penny stocks are CRAP, they are very few exceptions of course but one should always play them like hot potatoes. Now, QMIN is no exception but the share structure is very low and I'm not seeing any DILUTION so people if a promoter takes this stock it could go crazy.
with that low Shares Structure and no signs of dilution, this stocks only needs some more buying pressure and could really take off!
Nice buy on KGRI!
KGRI WOW! a 7 million buy on the ask at .0008! This only means that this stock has much more potential. Let's go KGRI!
