I bought mdgc in february at .006 and held onto it since then. When it went down to .0018 I wanted to pull the trigger and buy some more but I couldn't find myself able to do it. Congrats to everyone who did. I am amazed at how this has rebounded in the last week on basically no news. Let's hope this run continues.
Sorry about that. I was looking at the other release. I just didn't want you counting on mid June since I'm sure you have seen how our CEO is with meeting dates.
I don't completely blame him though. I'm sure that the Chinese government isn't the easiest to work with. Even a deal with the U.S. government would have a lot of setbacks. Government bureaucracies are slow moving.
Thanks! I watched most of the videos on there but I never saw the one that shows WC taking gum out of a carpet. I'm a teacher and sometimes I find gum on my classroom's carpet. I was wondering if it was another one of WC's uses and now I know for sure.
Your wrong. Read the 10k. Hague has a salary. But, he does receive a lot of money in shares each year.
It was never said that it will be mid June. Hague said in a few weeks in mid May. I'm hoping it is soon but don't tell people mid June because if it doesn't happen this week there will be a lot of people complaining about us not getting news.
I'll probably order my kit this week since I think it is about time I tried winning colours. I couldn't get it before because the closest place that sells it is about 2 hours away.
But, I was wondering if anyone has tried using it to get gum out of a carpet. Does anyone know if that is one of its uses?
I agree. I thought the 8 to 16 to 30 was a little confusing. But, overall I was happy with what I saw.
Well it didn't even have the website address. I know it is redundant to put the address in the add which would be the site your looking at anyways but still I couldn't believe that I didn't see either in the add.
Did anybody else notice that the add is missing something extremely important or was it just me? I only watched it on the winningcolours.tv site so I don't know if the tv add is any different but it didn't once say a phone number or website to go to.
I heard "call now" at least 4 or 5 times but never a number or a website mentioned or shown in this add! I'm hoping that I'm either completely missing it or this isn't the same add that is shown on tv. If this is the one shown on tv then I definately see where they should make changes!
There has to be a pr tomorrow morning. If they released a pr just to say that everything is on track then they will definately do one when the commercials actually air. Also the website to buy WC that corresponds with the commercial hasn't been released yet.
I live in Northeast Pennsylvania and the last time I checked the closest store was about 2 hours away. So I wouldn't say that there is good coverage in the Northeast.
Can someone explain to me clwrr? Why does clwrr exist?
Ones I would like to see added to the list:
The Food Network
WE
Bravo
TLC
HGTV
But only if the costs to put it on more premium channels makes financial sense.
I agree with the stay at home mom demographic. I think HGTV or The Food Network would be much better choices than some of the ones that were on the list. But, obviously they had to take into consideration the cost difference of airing commercials on those channels compared to the ones the commercial will be aired on.
While I'm happy to hear that the commercials are definately confirmed, I don't like the channels they will first be played on. I don't know about anyone else here, but I don't watch any of them. I understand that it would cost a lot more money to be on higher qualitiy channels, but I would have at least liked to see the commercials being aired on HGTV.
I welcomed these lower prices as a buying opportunity. Because of these boards I learned about wnbd in February and I feel very good about this company. I wasn't expecting to make any money until the summer when the advertising began. Now it's just a short time away.
Sadly a few doesn't mean 2-3 weeks when we're looking at Hague's timeframe. But I am really happy to hear something from him after being left in the dark for a couple weeks.
Now the question for me is whether I should buy more or just stay with what I have.
I can easily see this being the case. I think it all comes down to people's lack of knowledge about this prodcut. That is why I think the ads will be a major boost to our sales.
If I never heard of a product that was being sold at the same price as a brand name, I would go with the brand name. It all comes down to name recognition, which is what the drtv will provide.
Where is the earnings report?
Any idea why this is lower in after hours trading than where it started the day? I don't understand how this happened especially after the huge run it had today.
I'm not happy with the lack of confirmation of any deals this month. But, the Fortune article in less than 2 weeks and the fact that there has been a lot of talk on tv this week about clean coal has kept me from panicking. I just hope that the Fortune article is nothing like the BusinessWeek one.
The India deal isn't signed. All that we have with them is a technology licensing agreement. However, this is a good thing because companies sign these with foreign markets to allow them to enter it at a faster pace. Also, it begins the negotiating process. But, from what I read about them, neither party is contractly obligated to do anything with one another. There is no real contract that is signed. That is the news that we are supposed to hear about this month.
I did that a couple weeks ago at the time of the 10k release. When I read that and old posts from this site, I tried to sell my shares the following day. I priced my shares .001 too high so they just missed out on being sold. When the stock held above .13 I decided to keep it. I even bought some more since then which I was planning on flipping when it hit the .20s (made a mistake there).
At this point, I have mixed feelings about CCTC. But, I'm not going to wait forever for these deals to be signed.
The thing you have to realize though is people were bashing this stock about a month ago when its pps kept dropping. Then when it made a run, everyone was praising it. People's attitudes about pennies go to the extremes depending on its pps going up or down.
No. The deals aren't official. The "deals" as of right now are basically just a handshake and a contract saying that they are hoping to work together. The offical deals aren't signed yet but that is what we are supposed to be hearing about soon. If those deals get signed, then I think this stock will go way up. If those deals don't happen soon, then this stock will drop.
When did the information about getting shares in lamco come about? I remember people talking about that as an option but I didn't think it was something that was already guaranteed.
So your telling me that we all own a share in lamco at a 1:1 ratio at this point? ... or are you saying we will get shares in lamco at a 1:1 ratio only if assets > liabilities?
I thought you meant something specific to mdgc.
What happened in October 2008?
I was wondering this too. I didn't think that they actually had this much money/assets. I bought in at .0059 and have been debating for the last month if it was time to get out. But, after just reading the quarterly report I feel a lot better.
His insanely high stock bonus is why I tried to sell all my shares when the 10k was released. There is no way that a CEO should be compensated $7 million in 2007, $25 million in 2008, and another $25 million in 2009 in stock for running a company that has $0 revenue.
Well, I set my sell price too high and because it stayed above .13 I held on. Since then I bought more after the news of the BusinessWeek article. I think it will pay off. But, I still have a major problem with his compensation.
The problem today was that all oil refinery stocks went down. At least it only went down 1.7% The other ones saw much greater losses.
I think a better question would be; Why did this stock fall from over $40 in February 2008 (5:1 split that month) to .12 in two years?
I've been trying to figure it out myself. I think the obvious answer is no revenue, but does anyone have a better one?
I still think this has so much potential if they can get these contracts.
I think this is starting to look more like it will be all or nothing for us. Sadly I think it is leaning towards the nothing.
But, I'm staying in because if it is nothing I'll lose hundreds. If it is all, it will be a life changer.
I should have replied to my message because I called my local Scottrade to find my answer.
You only have to wait 3 days to buy stocks under $4 when you deposit money. There is no waiting period on buying any stocks after you sell no matter what their price is. But like you said, you have to wait until the trade is processed before you can sell.
I went with Scottrade because there wasn't any hidden fees like some of the other brokers, low trading costs, and there is a local branch within 15 minutes of my house.
I know that there might be some smaller brokers who have lower fees but I wanted to go with one of the major online brokers. After making comparisons, Scottrade was the clear winner.
I screwed up by putting in my bids just above the ask. It went all the way up to .15 before I decided to buy it at that. I didn't expect it to fly up this quickly. Missed out on some nice money.
I have a question about selling/buying stocks on Scottrade.
I know when I deposit money on there I can't use it to buy stocks under $4 for 3 days. But, if I sell some shares of a stock that I own, can I use that money to buy shares of a stock that is under $3 as soon as the transaction goes through?
Can someone explain why the preferred lehman shares are .1 while the common shares are worth .2? It doesn't make sense to me that the common shares would be worth more.
Thanks. That is exactly the answer I was looking for.
It seems like a lot of people on here think that the settlement will be much higher than what this is currently trading at per share. I was wondering what is the worst case scenario? Would shareholders just be reimbursed for what the stock is currently worth at the time of the settlement? If this is the case it seems like a break even or huge win for everyone who owns this.
