This is Karen Thompson, Bruce's wife (I guess I need to say Bruce's widow). I finally got into this site. I spent much time reading all the wonderful posts about my husband. Bruce was a kind, generous, caring man, so you guys really nailed it when you were talking about him. I want to thank Golf nut for coming to the VA to see Bruce. You got one of his very last smiles!!! If you can come to his memorial service that would be a blessing. I also want to thank "Walk" sorry pulling a blank on your exact handle. Walk sent Bruce a card at least 5 days a week, for weeks and weeks, he sent them on behalf of all of you. They were very wonderful. I lost Bruce on Easter Sunday. I want to thank all of you for your faithful prayers, we had comfort because of them and we were strong because of them. Thank you for your willingness to continue to pray for me as I greve the loss of my beloved husband. There is a very big hole in this world without my Bruce! Thanks for lending me your ear, and your shoulder. Karen Thompson

Almost shutdown my computer access to many files. Good thing I could remove 10 after loading it.
I will say that the chemicial and radioactive treatments
I have been taking since Feb have been keeping me tired and off key response to my environment. I have now been off that standard treatment for 6 weeks and have a more solid ability to write.
Going to see a surgeon from Shands Hospital in step one of the starting the research case of this disease.
BT
Has been a long time since I have posted
My health is currently at the end of treatment as it has reached the point where treatment severely damages the body's anti-infectious ability to function. Sometime during the next 4 months the cancer should return with a double in size for each two week period. Max time 4 months. 15,000 diagnoses per year and 15,000 die within 14-19 months. Zero survivors.
As for the Duke research program, it ends this month and I never had the recourance that would have gotten me in there. I currently am being seen by the VA hospital. The incredable news is that right across the street is Shands (University Of Florida) Hospital who hired a doctor who was on the Duke cancer research for my cure and he will be starting Shands' research program for my disease next month. There is a serious chance he will take at the original $700K worth of paid for treatment me as patient #1 and start me in January. They have the first 5 months worth of my records and The odds are that I may actually survive.
I want to thank every one of the over 500 members who are watching this site for my progress. I will try to keep the site up to date on my progress.
Thank you folks
Bruce Thompson
I wish to thank every one fr following me up
I have now suffered two brain surgeries and have lots of vacant think holes to deal with.
That being said, it is time for someone to volunteer for the advice and also volunteer for the design of new machines.
Thank everyone for corresponding with me.
Got some local Surgeons to see that article
They are all amazed by the numbers posted for this disease. You should send a copy of that article to anyone who communicates with a brain cancer DR.
I have had two major changes in my reaction to the which exposed major infections. These have slowed down the transfer to Duke.
Will write more when I get more brain usable.

Well, I am healing from the surgery.
I am also getting ready for radioactive and another med starting next monday morning. That will last 6 weeks and will then result in my accessing to Duke University Brain Research And Treatment in North Carolina.
Lots of prayers.
Meanwhile, a couple of weeks ago I reinvested a considerable snatch back into FNMA at around $2.25. Last week I went all in @ near $2.30.
I am now waiting on the Govt to be finally blued and tatooed for their illegal crap and the stock price of FNMA to exceed $240.00 per share.
Great watch.
Now is the time to buy as many thousand as you can afford. The future is going to look verry verry good here.
Be Watching FNMA. Getting ready to run.
Meanwhile, I have committed almost all the spare $$ to FNMA since in a week or so I will be beginning a month of Radioactive daily 15 minute dose as well as a daily 'nother dose I am not sure of. I will not be able to daily watch the market so I am making the financial committment before someething happens.
Right now, the getting out is easy and cheap as a loss compared to being away from the screen when I should have been getting in deeper.
So the $$ is officially bet. I don't see FNMA being held back much more.
I am recovering from a massive removal of a
big part of my L side of my brain.
On Monday, I will be starting with radioactivity and a drug of some time. After 4 weeks of that, the hospital U in Raleigh N. C. will be getting possession of yours truly in hopes we can cure this 100% fatal disease.
I do not have the older ability to communicate because of the sheer amount of brain missing.
Pray for me.
Bruce
So, Why are you posting a question answered nearly 2 yeqars ago as if it were right now news?
Is there something else you need to be talking about?
There is no reason for me to attend this bogus stock any more
I am apparently dying of Cancer and having no reason to attempt to talk sense to anyone anymore about this stock.
Good Bye

A.M. Kitco Metals Roundup: Gold Gets Boost On U.S. Stock Market Sell-Off, Weaker U.S. Dollar
Tuesday January 27, 2015 8:20 AM
(Kitco News) - Gold prices are modestly higher in early U.S. trading Tuesday, on some safe-haven buying interest as the U.S. stock market is selling off following some downbeat quarterly earnings reports. A weaker U.S. dollar index on this day is also supporting the precious metals markets. February Comex gold was last up $3.70 at $1,283.10 an ounce. Spot gold was last up $1.90 at $1,283.75. March Comex silver last traded down $0.033 at $17.95 an ounce.
New York markets are somewhat feeling the impact of a major winter storm pummeling the northeastern U.S. Tuesday, although New York City did not get hit as hard as expected. Trading volumes could be a bit thinner in the New York-based markets Tuesday, which in turn could make Chicago and other non-New York-based markets less active.
There is a heavy slate of U.S. economic data due out Tuesday that could well impact many markets, including gold and silver. The reports include the weekly Johnson Redbook and Goldman Sachs retail sales reports, durable goods orders, the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index, the U.S. flash services PMI, the Richmond Fed business survey, the consumer confidence index, and new residential sales.
Also, the regular meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee (FOMC) begins on Tuesday and ends Wednesday afternoon. Traders will look for clues coming from that meeting, regarding when the U.S. central bank will begin to raise interest rates. Recent developments, including plunging crude oil prices, have led many to believe the Fed might not raise interest rates until late this year, or may have to wait until 2016.
Following the weekend news that saw the Greek anti-austerity party win elections by a wider-than-expected margin, the market place was not roiled. However, the Syriza party’s victory raises more concerns about the viability of the European Union, longer-term. The new leftist Greek prime minister has said he will work to abolish austerity measures that he claims have hampered the Greek population. This matter will likely be close to the front burner of the market place in the coming weeks and months.
European stock and bond markets were weaker Tuesday on worries about Greece abandoning its heretofore promised austerity measures. Asian stock markets were mostly firmer Tuesday.
The currency markets are still turbulent. The Swiss franc was volatile Tuesday after a Swiss National Bank official said the SNB could still intervene to deflate the Swissy.
The Russian ruble faced more downside pressure against world currencies Monday, following news that Standard & Poors downgraded Russia’s sovereign credit rating to junk status. Recent fighting in Ukraine and the threats of more sanctions against Russia coming from the U.S. and European Union have also hit the ruble hard to the downside. The ruble had stabilized, at least for the moment, Tuesday. The Euro currency was near steady after hitting an 11-year low Monday. The U.S. dollar index pushed to a 12-year high Monday, on safe-haven demand for U.S. dollar-backed assets. The index was slightly lower Tuesday morning.

Wyckoff’s Daily Risk Rating: 5.5 (Trader and investor market risk aversion is not keen at present.)
(Wyckoff’s Daily Risk Rating is your way to quickly gauge investor risk appetite in the world market place each day. Each day I assess the “risk-on” or “risk-off” trader mentality in the market place with a numerical reading of 1 to 10, with 1 being least risk-averse (most risk-on) and 10 being the most risk-averse (risk-off), and 5 being neutral.
The London A.M. gold fixing is $1,279.00 versus the previous P.M. fixing of $1,281.25.
Technically, gold bulls still have the overall near-term technical advantage. Prices hit a 5.5-month high last week. Prices are in a 2.5-month-old uptrend on the daily bar chart. The gold bulls’ next upside ear-term price breakout objective is to produce a close above solid technical resistance at last week’s high of $1,307.80. Bears' next near-term downside price breakout objective is closing prices below solid technical support at $1,256.20. First resistance is seen at $1,290.00 and then at $1,300.00. First support is seen at the overnight low of $1,272.00 and then at last week’s low of $1,260.00.
March silver futures bulls still have the overall near-term technical advantage as prices hit a four-month high last week. Silver bulls’ next upside price breakout objective is closing prices above solid technical resistance at $19.00 an ounce. The next downside price breakout objective for the bears is closing prices below solid support at $17.00. First resistance is seen at the overnight high of $18.06 and then at $18.25. Next support is seen at the overnight low of $17.405 and then at $17.355.

* Gold price rose in December for first time in five months (Adds analyst comment, euro area purchases)
By A. Ananthalakshmi
SINGAPORE, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The Netherlands raised its gold holdings for the first time in 16 years in December, while Russia extended its buying spree of the precious metal to a ninth straight month, data from the International Monetary Fund showed on Tuesday.
The Netherlands, with the ninth-biggest gold reserves, raised its holdings by 9.61 tonnes to 622.08 tonnes last month, the first increase since December, 1998. The Dutch central bank's holdings have been unchanged since late 2008.
Central bank buying and selling can have a significant influence on gold prices. Central banks became net buyers in 2010 after two decades as net sellers, driven by an increased interest in gold in the wake of the 2008 global economic crisis.
Gold prices rose nearly 1 percent in December, the first monthly rise in five, possibly on support from central bank purchases.
"It has been the emerging market central banks that have been doing the buying over the past few years, so it is encouraging for gold markets to see the Dutch additions," said Victor Thianpiriya, an analyst with ANZ in Singapore.
The purchases by the Dutch central bank follows its move in November to repatriate more than 120 tonnes of gold from vaults in the United States.
Net purchases by the euro area totaled 9.55 tonnes in December, at a time of heightened jitters over the economy and speculation over stimulus measures by the European Central Bank, which just last week announced a bond-buying programme.
Meanwhile, Russia added 20.73 tonnes to the world's fifth-biggest gold holdings, bringing its total to 1,208.23 tonnes.
Russia's gold-buying spree comes amidst a bearish outlook for its economy, which is expected to slide into recession this year on low oil prices and the fallout from sanctions over Ukraine.
Ratings agency S&P cut Russia's sovereign credit rating to junk status on Monday, bringing it below investment grade for the first time in a decade.
PAUSE IN UKRAINE SALES
Ukraine, which has seen renewed conflict with pro-Moscow separatists and is also struggling with economic growth, seems to have taken a pause in selling its gold holdings.
It sold about 16 tonnes of gold in October and November, but Tuesday's data showed that its bullion reserves were steady at 23.64 tonnes in December.
Turkey, however, lowered gold holdings by 3.86 tonnes to 529.12 tonnes. Turkey counts gold held on deposit with commercial banks as part of the central bank's bullion holdings.
Other buyers included Kazakhstan, Belarus and Malaysia. (Editing by Ed Davies)

Hi guys
I got out of Shands UF yesterday morning 2 days after the surgery yesterday morning. I am home now. My life has scheduled major different.
Here is the one will be brought.
First, there was a huge tumor under my left temporal lobe. According to the tumor, there is no suspician of it coming from anywhere but from inside the brain.
As a result, this sentifruge that I fell through came as a result of the tumor reacting privitately inside the sea sridge inside the lobe. The bottom line is that from the equivilent of 15 thousand folks who actuall receive episodes from this error, every thing becomes from the actually blanket tumor inside the brain and from nowhere else.
That means that the 15 thousand tumors will result in advanced series which will finally come to light of the pt at a later lebt. AS A RESULTER LATE, ALL 15 THOUSAND PATIENTENTS ARE ALL DYING FROM THIS DISEASE.
My research is now heading from the NC Brain center from the BIAS Brain at the University in Rauleigh NC.
Prey for me and find what you folks kind.
I love you all.

UPDATE
Surgery scheduled to remove the tumor at 06:00 on Tuesday morning at Shands UF Neurosurgery. These are the same surgeons who do the Neurosurgery for the Gainesville VA hospital which is located across the street from Shands UF and is connected via a tunnel.
I have been on the phone to the VA for 36 hours and have gotten nowhere at all so I am going to their ER right now to start the file.
I spent most of yesterday trying to communicate with the VA and by getting docsdrawn up giving power of attorney to my wife.
Pray for me.
I need to talk.
My life is going to change radically on next Tuesday morning. Last Tuesday at midnight I had a masive seizure which only except for the Grace Of God would have killed me.
This seizure happened at work and in front of my partner and another paramedic. My O2 sats dropped to 40 and my EKG bounced between 140 and 40. I was completely unresponsive to anything. Had this seizure happened at home or 10 minutes later when my partner and the other medic would have been asleep, I would have died from it.
As it was, they were able to get me entubated and placed on a ventilator which stabilized my O2 sats in mere seconds. They called for a helicopter for transport me to Shands UF Stroke Trauma Center but the weather did not allow it to fly.
They transferred me to Shands Lake City and I was immediately run through a Ct scanner. The fastest ambulance in the fleet was brought to that ER and taken out of service to be held for me. The CT scan indicated a brain bleed in the L Temporal Lobe.
I was unaware of any part of what was going on that night as I was completely unresponsive. Luckily, everyone from the medics to the hospital staff and the Trauma Center staff all knew me on a first name basis. I was considered "Family" by everyone involved.
At that time a 28 minute transport of the 48 miles to Shands UF Trauma center was done and I was immediately placed in a MRI and it was found that it was not a stroke brain bleed but a golf ball sized brain tumor. According to the Neurosurgeon, The mistake is typical and the seizure is usually the first indication of the Tumor. The tumor is called a Glialoma and it develops only in the brain and is not there as a result of a cancer somewhere else spreading there.
Since the finding of the tumor, a lot of things have been happening. The good news is I am fully physically and mentally able to function for the next few days until the surgery as long as I take anti seizure meds. YES, it can be removed. The tumor is located in the L Temporal lobe between and beneith the two speech centers. Unfortunately, it is located in the middle of a large memory section. This means there is, most probably going to be a huge change in who I am and what I know after the removal of the Tumor. I convinced the Neuro surgeon to allow me to leave the hospital and use today to get my life in order.
I will be at my attorney's office this morning getting POA for the wife. Everything else is pretty well covered. The expense is covered 100% by the VA and they are able to bill my employers provided BCBS policy which has a huge deductible and has huge copays and is very expensive. My premium payment and copays exceed $5K per year for just me to be covered. My VA coverage is free with Zero Deductible and Zero Copays.
As it stands, nobody knows how much of a knowledge and personality change is going to happen as a result of this surgery.
I am asking that everyone who will, please pray for me and start looking for me again sometime around the end of next week.
I love all of you and will never regret a minute of time I have spent here.
I need to talk.

CHICAGO, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Two years after first accusing the U.S.'s Herbalife Ltd of fraud, billionaire investor William Ackman reiterated on Monday that he expects the nutrition company's stock price to collapse to zero and said it would happen within a year.
Ackman, who runs hedge fund Pershing Square Capital Management LP (IPO-PERS.L), has been betting against Herbalife shares since 2012, claiming the company is a pyramid scheme - where new investors unwittingly fund the profits of older investors. Regulators began investigating the company early last year.
"It's an embarrassment to the country that this company exists," he told reporters after speaking at a church gathering in Chicago. He said the effective value of his bet is $1.2 billion.
Herbalife has become one of America's most closely watched companies after Ackman and fellow billionaire Carl Icahn squared off with enormous bets on its future, with Icahn betting on its success. Icahn in November said he believed Herbalife's stock was undervalued and that the company still had "a good business model."
Herbalife has vehemently denied Ackman's allegations that its business is a pyramid scheme. The company described his church appearance as "the latest stunt in Ackman's ongoing campaign to drive down our share price for profit."

Herbalife will fail because increased transparency about its practices, due to scrutiny from Ackman and regulators, has made it harder for the company to recruit distributors for its products, Ackman said.
Herbalife's stock price closed at $32.73 on Monday after dropping 52 percent last year.
Continued declines will motivate regulators to accelerate their probes because it would be an "enormous embarrassment" for them if Herbalife collapsed before the government shut it down, Ackman said. If investigations heat up, the company's stock will extend its losses, he predicted.
"I'd be surprised if it's not gone within a year," he said about Herbalife.
Ackman said he has not yet made any money on his bet against the company and projected he will rake in more than $1 billion if the stock price drops to zero.
"We shorted it at $47 but because of option premium, borrowing costs, dividends, investigative expenses, our break even is around $31, $32," Ackman said. Shorting involves selling borrowed shares to buy them back later at a lower price.
"We're just at the margin where every dollar starts to become meaningful," he added.

Third buy @ $8.01 I really did not want to buy here but that was my trading plan. Plan the trade and trade the plan.
Out completely @ $7.90.
On my first treade I lost a dollar. On my second I lost 61 cents. On my third, I lost a dime. The share price is going down even more.
The market was not going my way so I got out. My money is waiting in my account now and ready for me to take advantage of the bottom when it gets here. I am not waiting for a price $4 over where it is right now to break even.
I do what I advise.
Who makes money on oil?
Drillers and drilling equipment companies make money on higher priced oil.
Everyone else makes the same % profit. Refiners make the same markup no matter the buy price of the raw oil. Shippers make the same $ per ton per mile. Storage facilities charge the same reguardless of the price of the product. Gas stations make the same profit % per gallon sold.
Who makes the money during FALLING PRICES?
Movie theaters, food producers, electronics stores, restaurants, department stores, home sellers, real estate agents, truck drivers, owner operators, landscapers, building contractors. In effect, everyone makes money.
If you have $50 per week more $ in your pocket after your gasoline is paid for, then you got the equivilent of a $75 weekly raise in your salary. Where are you going to spend that money?
It will roll over into the economy with a multiplier of 4 and is the equivilent of a huge boost in consumer income and spending without a concouring tax increase.
For the last 30 years we have been paying a huge tax to the very folks that want us all to either convert to Islam or die. Now that yoke is off our shoulders.
Be wise with your money.
