I don't think it's quite that cut and dried. From what I've gathered, stock-specific boards are treated differently than general boards (something I never realized.)
Please see #msg-118656002 and the reply chain.
I still think it can be done, if you persevere.
Another option is to request an assistant mod position. Still another is to simply start a new board.
Got it. I think that this is truly a case of MIA, if not--given the market conditions in the past few months--KIA.
My apologies, I should have been more specific: this is a non-stock specific free board.
If the Mod and Asst. Mods of a free board go missing in action (disappear) for many months, can another board member take over? TIA
Re BMRN briefing docs:
Actually, if every ticker he posted was indeed a winner, he'd be the most extraordinary oracle in the history of mankind and I for one would follow him like crazy!
Correct, there's no actual "button" but if you contact one of the iHub admins and describe the situation (it has happened before) you or someone else interested in the position will be made the moderator. You can also change the name of the board, which might not be a bad idea (fresh start, etc.).
This is a good place to start:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/The-Question-and-Answer-Board-IHUB-504/
Perhaps OT: Not interested myself, but I'm surprised that someone doesn't take over this board as Moderator. I believe that iHub has a procedure to follow when a board is "abandoned."
KBIO: Seeing some chat board and Twitter posts from folks who lost large sums shorting this, some over $100K, asking for donations!
I (and most here) have lost big money going long many times, and I didn't begin a crowd-funding movement. My mistake, that's life, that's the market.
Numerous people posting picks, DD, discussing pro's and cons, sharing opinions and market news.
Wait a minute...looks like a stock board!
Is this kind of thing allowed?
VRX: What a cesspool. No sympathy for Ackman either, he knew or should have known what he was buying.
I have great respect for Zipjet, but I think this is more than just "the dirty side of competition."
Altering prescriptions: disgusting, disgraceful, criminal.
VRX: As a layperson reading the allegations of prescription-tampering, my reaction is basically, "They did what!"
My favorite from the comments section of the WSJ article:
Re MDT: As I've posted before ( #msg-109379396 ) my longest-held stock and basically the foundation of my life's financial success. Pure luck, a hunch, a willingness to take a huge risk.
IMHO, as far as medical device makers go, there's MDT and everyone else.
OT:
Happens all the time on iHub. They don't publicize that statistic since it wouldn't be good for business!
Best of luck.
FWIW: Most daytraders don't quit because they become rich or find something else to do; they quit because they lose all their money.
Got it (just a tip, use the "PUBLIC REPLY" tab to the upper left when replying to a post, saves confusion )
Yes, the departure of the CFO affected the stock a small amount, but not nearly enough to cause this drop.
I'm very surprised to see this massive dip. Not exactly sure what kind of buy signal you're waiting for, but best of luck.
Related to what? Please clarify your post, TIA.
I don't own or follow KITE closely, but if something almost doubles in a few months, perhaps one should take some profit.
Dew- Re #msg-115835599 by OakesCS, if this does not deserve a sticky I don't know what does.
These days when everyone is an instant expert on everything because they know how to google, it's nice to see someone expounding from the well of their own hard-earned experience and knowledge.
Nope, that's a crudely doctored image where pre-Photoshop someone inserted the shoe into the picture. Been exposed as such for many years.
I figured someone would post that!
From deep in oversold territory it just might have crossed the line into overbought: lots of traders jumped in.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a pullback tomorrow and Friday, but IMHO longer term this is going to at least $5.
Best of luck to all.
OT:
Any thoughts/predictions on where this might go before it levels out?
TIA
Me too.
Saw someone on Twitter referring to this as a "dead cat bounce."
LOL, hardly, total misuse of the term. They're very much alive.
Best of luck!
Only one question: sell here or hold?
I'm holding, thoughts appreciated.
Yes, all commodities are getting pounded.
My FIT reference was obviously tongue-in-cheek. But it’s somewhat humorous (if not disturbing) to see the health of the market measured in shares of fitness trackers, an online social media site, an online shopping mall, and a place that sells big burritos.

Started a good-sized position last week @$2.65. Thought I'd nailed a good price. I was wrong.
Very surprised by this action. Best of luck.
