Why does it take so many 100 share blocks to fill an order? EDIT: what i mean is why is it in 100 share blocks? As chey said earlier...weird.

Not weird at all. This is the norm for many stocks, not just yours, and it’s part and parcel of HFT (high-frequency trading.) The algorithm is pre-instructed to fill your order in 100 share blocks and in the milliseconds between fills check that moment’s bid and ask. This often leads to a partial fill and a change order by the buyer, which generates more fees for the brokerage: that’s the idea, of course.
