The women's Quilt Knitting and Tea Drinking Social Club of Huckelbee, Kansas decided to invest their profits. They know a good thing when they see it. LOL
Thank you for your chart breakdown insights. It's always good to have a technical analysis of the situation. My thoughts on KING's current situation:
Most people invested here know KING is not a scam, they've done enough DD to know that the people involved are high quality, experienced in the oil business, and just as concerned of their reputations as they are the company. They do not put out fluff PR's to drive the price up and they do not dilute the stock. Anyone new looking at the stock I encourage you to research the backgrounds of the management and determine for yourself the quality of who is behind this company.
The lack of PR's is frustrating to say the least. We know from various member's phones calls to the company that they want to release the AF's and the financing arrangements at the same time and that the AF's are complete. All we are waiting on is the financing.
We should be thankful that Norris Harris is so careful with the financing. Looking back at older posts it appears he has had plenty of offers that would have gotten the company going but given the shareholders a less than desirable deal. He could have easily done a 504 or raised the A/S astronomically and dumped a lot of shares to try to raise the funds needed. Norris ignored all these offers and has been working diligently to get financing that won't hurt the shareholder. That alone is worth waiting for.
When the coveted PR finally does come I suspect it will have enough good information to justify the PPS going up 20-40 times from where it is now. When this company shows a profit it won't take much to push this stock above a dollar. Remember that some people estimated that the seismic data alone would add up to .50 to the PPS. I believe that once KING is showing a profit many new investors will start looking at all that seismic data and realize what a valuable asset KING has.
Finally, with KING fully reporting and trading above a dollar they will attract a whole new group of investors who would not have considered KING before. There is a lot of fear in the energy markets these days and a lot of the energy investors are focusing in on companies that have oil leases within the United States territories. They feel it is best to invest in companies that have secured areas that a foreign government can not interfere with. I feel the Vermillion area, being next to the largest oil deposit in the history of the world, is the key asset that will propel KING to unimaginable heights and those that hold long term will be greatly rewarded.
Excellent news.
Hi Everyone. I was able to talk to Foster after trying to get ahold of him for a week. He said that they were going to have a PR this past week but decided to hold off to include a new development. I asked him if the PR would be this week and he said he didn't think they could get everything done by then. He did sound very optimistic about whatever is developing but wasn't giving out details that we could sink our teeth into. I know many of you are getting tired waiting for news ( I'm one of them). We all know this company could be worth a lot more than the $4-6 million market cap it has if they could just get the ball rolling. I'm hopeful the financing/JV announcement will be soon and we will all enjoy a nice ride up. If they have anything of real substance the market cap could easily jump to the $100-150 million range. That's why I'm here. A nice 20-40 bagger just in time for summer.
I agree.
Raven Moon. The biggest diluter, R/S, money grabbing, give nothing back to the shareholders company there is.
True. It's only us pinkyland gamblers in the Wild West willing to risk a few hundred dollars to make thousands that remain. Let's hope they get back to fully reporting soon.
I think most people would have agreed with you that most R/S in pinkyland end up bad. There are exceptions, some of those were posted. The strategy that most investors took was and still is that this company will payoff big when they release their AF'S. If the company is serious about going to a higher exchange then they will post AF's, have a couple of quarterlies, and be able to prove to investors who do not touch pinkies that they are a worthy investment. Everyone knew that this would take months and several people were posting six months minimum before the R/S. It's unfortunate that the PPS is down but the company is real and they do have a strategy which should payoff in the long run.
I have to think there's something more going on here. A company like Baron's just doesn't lose 90% of their investment. I suspect deliberate manipulation of the price by the company. Unfortunately I can't prove it so I'll just say everything is in my humble opinion.
Abbott Helps Chicago Win U.S. Bid for 2016 Olympics
Recently, the U.S. Olympic Committee picked Chicago as the U.S. candidate for the 2016 Olympics, thanks to dedicated help from Abbott. The city now goes on to compete internationally for the bid. The winning city will be announced in 2009.
Abbott became involved in Chicago’s Olympic bid in early 2006, when our Chairman and CEO, Miles White, was named Chair of the Venues Committee of Chicago 2016, the organizing body for Chicago’s bid. A team of Abbott experts soon went to work on developing plans for the Olympic facilities that ultimately helped Chicago win its bid.
He probably already bought up what he wants.
Nice find. Looks like the film will be a winner.
Very nice rise. Of course the real rise will come when they announce the R/M.
Your theory might have some validity. I recall a company about three years ago that filed for bankruptcy and then bought back massively when the price plunged real low. A year later they were sitting at 100X's their low and tons of money. I am curious:
To say I'm surprised as to what has happened to the share price here along with the silence of the management would be a gross understatement. I do wonder about the requirement of management (former owners of NJ2) to repurchase in a years time something like 20 million shares as part of the sale agreement. In my opinion that would certainly motivate a lax attitude on their part to do anything that would change the current share price. I'm just thinking off the top of my head here. What has transpired since last Fall makes little sense. From incredible revenues, profits, and deal acquisitions to instant failure does not seem all that likely. I guess anything is possible at this time.
Where did you find that it is required?
Looks like someone tried to challenge his claim but he never responded. Have to wonder who's scamming who. We know KING hasn't drilled in any of their major projects yet.
Here's the post from HSM. Hasn't been much activity over there since this was posted.

WHKA- Suing The Fraud Perping Crooks For Major Coin--Taking Names And Kicking Butts Through Actions, Not Words
The company is definitely not selling stock. The reason the financing has dragged on so long is because they won't sell stock to get the financing. I'm not convinced that there's a problem with the number of shares being traded but I find it far more likely that people who claim to be longs are either selling or flipping.
Looks like we got walked down on low volume and someone decided to dump their shares.
Another possibility, I just found out that someone is spreading lies about KING on another message board, claiming that KING tried to drill one of the projects and came up dry. Since we know the financing hasn't happened yet (which would have been PR'ed) then the drilling hasn't happened (which also would have been PR'ed). Don't know why someone would make that claim unless they are trying to drive the price down.
Always Lurking.....
Good prediction. Want to pick my lotto tickets? LOL
I suspect people are still trying to get the best deal possible but realizing that the cheaper shares are now gone. We might see a slow upswing until we get news.
dmbao- I've seen stocks with much smaller floats trade as much. Flippers are to be expected, I read one guy claimed he bought and sold the same stock three times in one day.
You made me laugh. Hard to do this early on a Saturday.
Wow! Now I know the PPS is going to rise. LOL I think the company is giving us a taste of what's to come. Go Orbit!
I know I read somewhere that the preferred shareholders were taken care of, I don't know if it was an official source or just someone talking. I guess I'll have to dig deeper on this one.
Shells have a funny way of sinking real low on low volume and then rising from the ashes on good news to give you great returns. LFZA went from triple zeros to .80 in a very short period of time when the RM was announced.
I'm down on some other shell plays but as I told my wife just try buying a lot at one time at that low. You can't. At best you could try to accumulate a little at a time but as soon as any volume comes in the PPS rises dramatically.
Most shell plays are a buy and hold for a while. This one got a lot of traders hoping for a quick payout. It's unfortunate for them that it's not quicker but Kip is actively looking for a good RM company. I suspect that he wants it to be a good one and won't settle for one trading in the pennys. That's why I'm still here.
News:
FDA Approves HIV-1 Viral Load Test for Use on the Abbott m2000
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Abbott RealTime HIV-1 viral load test, used on the Abbott m2000 system from Abbott Molecular, for marketing in the United States. Click here to see a demonstration video of how the m2000 works.
The Abbott RealTime™ HIV-1 assay is intended to be used as a marker of disease prognosis and to help asses viral response to antiretroviral treatment. It is designed to detect and precisely measure the level of the humun immunodeficiency virus (HIV) circulating in a patient’s blood (viral load), including the three major groups of HIV-1, as well as non-B subtypes.
HIV-1 can be divided into groups M (major), O (outlier) and N (new). The vast majority of isolated viruses cluster in the M group. Distinct lineages within group M have also been identified, and these lineages are called strains or subtypes. They include subtype designations A through G. While HIV-1 subtype B continues to be the most common strain found in the United States, studies suggest that an increasing number of newly diagnosed patients may be infected with non-B subtype strains or recombinations of different strains and subtypes.
The increasing viral diversity of HIV-1 has made the need for highly sensitive tests to monitor patient response to antiviral therapies even more important. The reliability and precision of the Abbott RealTime HIV-1 test for detecting HIV-1 subtypes will assist physicians in assessing viral levels in their patients, enabling them to provide optimal treatment.
The test has been developed for use on the Abbott m2000 system, an automated instrument designed to efficiently detect and measure life-threatening viruses and bacteria in patient samples in less than five hours, compared to other testing methods that may take up to two days. The system automates a variety of manual processing steps, such as pipetting, helping to reduce the hands-on time required to prepare patient samples for DNA/RNA testing by as much as 75 percent.
Abbott products in development for the Abbott m2000 system include assays for Hepatitis C (HCV), HCV genotyping, hepatitis B virus (HBV), chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Typically you need twice as much buying as selling to move the price up. So even up just 20% is a good sign, also it's up 100% since the low (.017) in the middle of March.
Thursday when we had 800K volume I looked at a snapshot of the L2 at the end of the day and there were no sellers left until you hit .05. Today when I looked there were a lot of sellers at almost every tenth (.036, .037, .038... .06) that tells me there's a lot of buyers looking for the best entry and a lot of flippers hoping to cash out at the high of the day and then buy back on a dip. Overall a very positive sign.
I suspect more people have talked to Foster and confirmed what's been said here. It's hard to find a pinky that won't dilute and has so much potential. When the company starts to make good on the financing and the AF's people will realize this isn't a typical penny stock and then we'll have 5-10 million volume days and a healthy rise to the PPS.
The real payout might not be until we start drilling in Vermillion (best guess 1-2 years) but in the meantime this stock could be a very nice multibagger this summer, at least 2X maybe as high as 10X but my best guess is 5X. I'll be happy with that.
I asked Foster about the audit back in March. He told me it was done except for the baseline, which is determining what type of depreciation schedule to use. He said one quick meeting and that would be taken care of but they didn't want to release it until they had financing.
What Foster told me was they wanted to do the AF and the financing PR at the same time. If they do both and the JV financing is confirmed and a good deal for us, then this stock could reach a 52 week high. I'd like to see this stock on a nice long upswing that will erase everyone's losses and make this one of the best stocks of the year. If we can get some projects going and have some successes there's no reason to not reach that goal. And yes they want to be on a higher exchange. That typically means $5 PPS but there are ways of doing it with less.
Nice thing about Norris is he stated he won't dilute the shares in any way. He could of used the share structure to raise the money needed but he didn't. When he comes out with the financing agreement and no changes to shares it will raise a lot of people's confidence.
Do you know if the lawsuit shares will come out of the existing shares or be created and added to the existing shares?
Somewhere in the bankruptcy papers there's a statement about giving shares to the creditors. I'm fairly sure it was 425 Million but I don't know if that's in addition to the 3.1 Billion or not. It's late, had to work late to cover for someone. Need to get up in a few hours so I can trade. Hope this info helps.

Was OBTV. Bankrupcy was forced on them in '04, I saw a quote from Oct '05 where they were trading at .006
jj, we'll start with the same dollar amount. What people are counting on is that institutional buyers and possibly the company itself, can now buy the stock. The company could easily come out with AF's which prove how valuable they are and support their claim to be seeking a higher exchange. This combination is like a good triple witching day on wallstreet...everything coming together at once to propel this stock up to where it should be. When this hits $5 will you apologize to penny_ta?
Okay, it says that they haven't filed anything late in the last 12 months (good) and that the reason for the late filing is substantial changes (we already knew that, they moved the business to the UK) but the detailed explanation as to why only says 'cause the company told me to? That seems strange. We expect there to be less income and less expenses. Do they not have the audit completed for this quarter? Did they use an auditor in Britain not approved by the SEC? Could they have made so much money that they can't believe it and want to double check everything (okay, wishful thinking). Well, it's wait and see time. If it dips to .0005 I'll buy it anyways.
Wow, 30 million traded today. I'm at work now, I've got the exact share amount at home, it's roughly 1.5 billion with a little over 400 million of that going to the creditors and restricted for I believe a year. I think that there's supposed to be 630 million free trading shares. I'll post the exact numbers in a few hours when I'm back home.
Just got back from town. Saw it dip low the last two days on almost no volume. Who sells 100-500 shares at a time for a big loss? Can't even buy lunch with it. Then that sudden rise the last half of the day, my chart shows 800K traded. Reminds me of the day we had over 900k volume and hit .05. I think someone's been trying to scare up some cheap shares because they know it's going to break soon. If we get the financing news and the AF's at the same time I predict we will hit the high of the year within a few days. Still looking at June for the big news and holding tight. This one's going to be fun.
I'll play the part of the conservative investor and say it opens at $1.73. That way it has lots of room to move up. LOL
