2 big thumbs up.
72.8M+ U.S. cable subscribers at EOY.
And this is only from the top cable providers.
There are ~464 providers offering cable service in the US alone.
We have no idea what the infringement number is.
If there are ONLY 30M DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems infringing, doing a little math...
Dr. Teese's range is: 0.28 to 1.06 per modem per month, we'll average or 0.67.
30M * 0.67 * 12 months * 9 years > $2.17B (not including Comcast's 3x)
A take it or leave it offer to me is more like 800M to 1.2B.
Carter has money from Bentham and we don't know all the details.
Admittedly, not in $50M example though because never reached distribution.
And for global settlement b/c Commscope, Cisco and others involved, who knows.
Carter has a winning hand so $1B infringement is the absolute provable minimum IMO.
So this makes at least 2 of us that don't get it Rejean.
Cascading Scruffer
P.S. It also makes little sense to screw-over (some very highly) "Unstable" penny stock investors. Carter will need eyes in back of head forever.

Hear, hear!
We NEED U AJ. You're 1 of the big anchors here.
Now I understand how you were always writing "Stay well" (besides for COVID).
Hope they have you on some good numbing pain meds.
Great to have you back.
There have been a number of excellent and very informative posts.
It also appears we have a renewed hopeful optimism. I feel something anyway.
I still have hope. What else is there?
Alcohol and clean-up included if get a few hundred million for shareholders.
Just a rough conservative estimate of:
30,000,000 modems
@ 50 cents per modem per month (range of 0.28 - 1.06)
12 months a year
for 9 years
= $1,620,000,000
Plus, triple for Comcast's infringement portion, taking it over $2,000,000,000.
It's only fair to allocate a few hundred million to shares. A win-win (something).
This would be the minimum for a swift conceding settlement.
The numbers go up significantly if more modems (35M, 40M, 50M+, etc.) and higher per month patent benefit (60 cents, 70 cents, etc.)
If appeal and goes into a raging battle, who knows what the number could be.
As Confucius say, "Bery, bery dangerus & stewped 2 skewower share peeple".
Especially considering what many were anticipating, as well as, material "Legal" information was not filed by the acting director.
First, ChanBond must win (or settle), then we can go from there (if comes to that).
P.S. I'm an optimist. Only way to go through this crazy world.
Outstanding. TY zw.
G8 2 have inventors in our corner.
I hope it'll come down to that--Celebrations all around (and everywhere).
Send me the bill.
Yes, I'd say so, but I'm no expert.
It's ChanBond, LLC v. Atlantic Broadband Group, LLC, et al.
Cox being the first. I see this going to trial, but if Cox loses, the others may settle.
First, ChanBond must win something substantial.
Material information was excluded to us shareholders, shenanigans' occurred and all reported information indicated we had a much larger piece of the pie.
Who knows what'll happen but not going down without something fair or a fight.
That is, aka, "A percentage consulting fee".
No cap on Bentham = Kickbacks 2 Carter?
Auditors and attorneys are going to dig deep.
Criminal...
Stakeholders await.
Yes, "It ain't over yet".
My bad. Roger that NDD.
T-35 and counting (I think).
Someone's liable 4 not filing material info when public.

Any thought, ideas or guestimates?
TYIA, Scruffer
This is great. We could use his services.
FWIW, sounds like a good idea to me.
What can it hurt.
If need be, let legal take care of this.
This isn't the "Proper" approach.
We do NOT know what legal rights we have at this point.
Write an emotional appeal.
You'd be great b/c you're funny.
You'll need to send certified snail mail to insure receipt.
Will send private message since happy hour, but it's in Deirdre's TRO.
Get advice from your legal corporate in-house counsel.
You work for a brokerage. Tell them your friend...
Please just write for yourself (revised).
And put some scripture in. Get to his mind and heart JLU. Make it personal of how you feel. Have 4 children, need the payout, etc.
I sent an email.
Get more with honey than vinegar.
I inquired about a few things, but a couple in particular were:
• With Deirdre's 44.7M common shares and his 900M+ common, never thought he would NOT honor the private common pro-rata shareholders.
• Also, from Deirdre's TRO, I have no idea if UOIP, Inc. is included in the current, revised or final (?) waterfall analysis.
No time to get ugly (yet). That's what legal is for.
I was very polite and just wanting a response, but don't expect one.
Right. Yes, that is correct.
What would prevent anyone from:
• Acquiring or taking controlling interest in an OTC public company
• Not file because:
> Doesn't meet their needs
> Not important to them
> Doesn't have the money
> Doesn't "Feel" like it
• Wait and wait
• Become revoked
• Change the terms in their favor
If you're the sole director or majority shareholder, how can terms be changed without informing the minority shareholders?
Is this NOT material? Illegal, Malfeasant, Negligent, Fraudulent?
It doesn't seem Kosher to me. Wanting to learn.

IDK. Simple example of fines.
Aren't you here to mentor and/or school us?
And enjoy your "Schadenfreude"?

TYIA,
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the "Fairest" of them all?

Thanks for inquiring.
Knock on wood. Knock, knock!
I'm none of them, but AJ answered part.
Something's definitely going on with UOIP, Inc. and all.
Check out other site. Your cat will like it.
It's private, more current and better.
And it's free. FREE, FREE, FREE and pretty interesting if never seen.
Joined just for this, our group.
It appears BC did stuff behind DL's back.
Was it all kosher?

Great idea Bri.
No current co., any TA?, hard to find.
But that's exactly what I thought ("Where are our shares"?).
I think BA or someone posted, they came from A/S of 6B.
And not "Officially" recorded, but the TA had us at:
>> I/O == 1,614,601,069 shares (since 5/1/18 with no changes in latter months), up until magically absent.

(This was early in the morning and didn't fully read. $13M irrelevant, from 2015).
So should we start "A fund" and begin phone interviews tomorrow?
What's the game plan? No general consensus or definitive direction yet.
zombywolfmom may need to update other to provide some direction.
What does brother and fortune 500 CFO dad think?
Last thing brainstorming was:

We're in a nightmarish quagmire.
Edited** You two would be great at interviewing attorneys.
Need someone with the "Right" mindset and business experience.
Someone exposed to the real world and seen all the crap pulled.
Could split list (on other site) among the 3 of you if have time (with zw too).
And others may be skilled at it as well, but not familiar w/ their backgrounds.
I'm a FTE+. Putting in lots of hours now (unfortunately).

It's not over until find out if any illegal stuff happened, but appears very much so.
Deirdre seems to be bigger advocate for common (or private shares).
I don't know what the hell-o I own or bought.
And, of course, I hope you are right.
It appears we should team up with Deirdre (if possible).
Finally starting to read the TRO (not too far along yet).
Deirdre knows her big money is in the 44.7M common.
Since Billy (or Rob) diluted, we should be entitled to our prorata share amount of all private shares (or common) outstanding--I would think, but who knows.
Also, 41 members on other.

I just did. Not proficient.
Basically, go to FB.
Put in basic info/profile.
Search "UOIP shareholders".
Request to join and an administrator will accept you (since private).
It may take 1 to 120 minutes or longer if none are signed-on or if doesn't ping their phone.
I don't know how they're notified a person has asked to join the group.
Like I said, just joined.
**Yes. How do I donate? (Updated).
My home PC isn't too secure.
Always used personal laptop from work via an Encrypted Verizon JetPack, but didn't bring it home.
Too distraught and didn't sleep well Thursday night. In at work at 4:45am.
Could remote into work via VPN, but FB & GFM are blocked.
I may not be able to securely donate until Monday morning.
I'm in for at least $250 at first.
