Starpicker, excellent post, but it contained an error. The volume yesterday for SRSR was 3,353,581 according to my account, not 34,000,000+.
Homey, as the old saying goes, it's not where it has been, it's where it is going. With that said, all investing is a risk.
Rig, I notice that they don't use one of our important assets, uranium, for the genital piercing (LOL). Maybe tantalum has some uses.
Interesting, the IPO notes on Creso state no known mineral reserves. I'm glad we have SRSR instead.
Thanks, starpicker, another excellent post. I see you have only made 3 posts, but they have all been very informative, especially this last one. A member mark for you.
Hopefully, the President still has enough influence on his Republican Senators to have them do the right thing and gut this bill.
Pmunch, it has been my experience that I almost always get filled when I buy at the ask. I used to try to get filled at the bid or slightly higher and missed many fills that way. I found that I missed too many and have made more money buying at the ask and getting almost all of my fills. This is especially important with a stock like SSRSR, otheriwse you will wind up chasing it and paying much higher prices.
Give credit where credit is due. Scott has many years of experience, has selecteed a top geologist, and can do it on his own.
SRSR very strong today
I think that the only drilling that they are going to do is to in terms of obtaining core samples to prove up their reserves. I anticipate that near term PRs will involve purchases of additional properties or else progress reports on proving up their existing reserves. The JV approach makes the most sense in terms of near and intermediate term results. I believe that all this has been speculated on before, but it bears repeating.

Thanks to all the board for your great DD and generosity in sharing your findings. It is a pleasure to read the messages. And, last but not least, thank you Howard for lending some good humor as a diversion.
What happened to clip?
Number one, I have had high hopes about Welch, Erie, the pharma, and the DOD. So far, poor stock performance, underperforming the market, and a dearth of PRs. Prognosis is guarded. You have remained optimistic throughout, but stock price no longer warrants such optimism until substantiated by performance, not pie in the sky. I have a lot at risk here, so I'm still hoping for the best.
Mr. Copley, I 'd like to help, but I think we are well above the bottom. I can't predict an exact bottom, but the way the stock is acting, we have a way to go. The story here is good, but it is speculative and there have not been any profits, to my understanding. There are several irons in the fire, but it sure is taking a long time. Management does not put out fluff PRs.
What is going on here? A news vacuum and a steady downhill SP. Is it shorting or something worse? Why is there no support from management? My confidence and patience is starting to wane I am a long-term long and a strong supporter of management thus far.
Howard, some good points, but for the purpose of debate, I think you are referring to a different story. I am not familiar with the story of "jack and the bean stork."
I like the balance of metals in srsr's holdings. If Niobium has gone up four times in the past year, that is unlikely to continue, and a tree doesn't grow to the sky. Better the diversification provided by our portfolio of properties.
Mick, I do think it should be changed, because it looks to me like the Ibox indicates that SRSR will be getting a 2% royalty, whereas the royalty is actually going to be paid by SRSR to the seller. MicroMan's post clarified this issue.
MicroMan, thank you. That was my understanding, but I found the Ibox confusing and I believe it could be misread.
stervc, I posted a question to you yesterday on the board which has gone unanswered. It is my reading of the PR from yesterday that the 2% royalty was paart of the purchase price and goes to the seller, not to SRSR. However, in the Ibox it idndicates that the 2% royalty goes to SRSR. Please clarify, because if this is erroneous, it must be corrected for the Ibox to be comletely accurate. We want our info to be squeaky clean for investors, especially because this is still a pinkie.
Keep em coming, Howard. money plus humor, what a combo!
stervc, I am as excited as anyone, what a great company and management! I have a question for you. My reading of the PR is that the 2% royalty is part of the purchase price, in addition to the cash, and will go to the seller. However, SRSR has the option of re-purchasing 1.5% of that royalty in the future.
Moxa, I didn't realize that and don't understand that at all. What was the risk for PTSC, and what was the point? If that was the case, why would any company pay for a license? Why was Sony any different? Did they have better lawyers? I don't see the downside for Patriot in any of these negotiations, what do they have to lose? Logically, it seems like they have almost everything going for them, especially with the favorable Markman. I understand that there is risk in litigation, but why would they settle early with Sony and go all the way with these others?
Thanks, moxa, but what about the Sony deal is making people uncertain?
I don't believe that we settled for $0, that defies logic and common sense. We were the plaintiffs, we had a favorable Markman with many significant signers, IMO we were and are in the catbird seat. That said, even if we get a favorable PTO decision, which I also think is likely, what makes anyone who knows the history of the stock poerformance think that will remove all doubt and we will go to da moon? We have had many shocks with the SP, and unfortunately most have been to the downside. Still long, but very frustrated and trying hard to remain optimistic.
Sorry to hear that, Panka, should we send flowers or lawyers?
What about ARM? Aren't they still in the mix? I believe that was mentioned by a previous poster, but I haven't seen this addressed further.
Fundamentals don't seem to matter much with this stock. I hope the previous pattern doesn't prevail, namely with each signing, the stock price goes up a penny or two and then goes down. I have never seen a stock that I'm in act like this. This stock should be trading at more than $3.00 with the continuous signings and settlements. Shenanigans.

I was on vacation to China for three weeks in 2004. You would be surpised at the numbers of middle class and above, yuppies, and wannabees. The department stores were full of shoppers, and there is a huge market there for bottled water. You would be pleasantly surprised, especially with our investment, about the increaing health consciousness and sophistication there. A rising tide lifts all boats, and the standard of living improvment is reaching many levels, with the caveat that there still remains poverty and inequality. The country offers great promise, however, an our investment is also compatible with social responsibility.
I keep hearing about the tens or tenner board. I am not familiar with that. Please direct me to it. Thanks.
We're having enough trouble getting the SP up without the announcements of all these signings. Why all of a sudden? I wonder what a settlement or favorable court ruling will do to the SP, since every piece of good news seems to make the stock go down? Like moxa, I have been investing in stocks for a long time and this one defies common sense. Still long and hopeful, however, against all reasoning.
Thank you, Pedro. I am cautiously optimistic that we will get a settlement in the future, or will prevail in court if it comes to that, which I doubt. IAMSAM's post indicated that the PTO re-exam will take significant time, and thus should not be a short or even medium term factor. If my understanding is correct, a significant setttlement or favorable ruling should expedite and multiply signings after that. However, if Swartz or others continue to sell "ad absurdum" and indefinitely, or if there is NSS or other shorting after a settlement or favorable ruling, how can we expect the SP to get to fair value, i.e. over $2.00? I am a long-term bull on this stock, but have been very discouraged by the poor performance of the SP. The stock price behavior defies all logic, in my opinion, other than manipulation.
The pattern here seems to be that with every PR regarding a signing, the SP goes up by a cent or so, and then drifts down several cents during the next few days and stabilizes at a lower level. Does anyone think that this pattern will continue after a successful settlement or successful trial? I am hoping against hope that the pattern doesn't continue.
Does anyone think that if we sign all the infringers in the world, purportedly more than 400, the price will break .62?
Agreed, fratboy, same ole, same ole, unfortunately.
I believe that this is a fundamental play and long-term hold and will buy on the dips. Patience will be well rewarded here. Take the Buffett approach. We are buying a solid company in its infancy.
cmzio, you are a great digger yourself. I can see why you like mining stocks.
